Try Fitness International at LKG Tower, Ayala Avenue.
Their instructors are qualified and some are professional and titled bodybuilders.
Also, the rates are very reasonable.

May membership fee na PhP 2,000 +
Monthly due is PhP PhP 1,400 +
Mura na yan para sa Makati area. Saka maganda ang facilities nila.

Vandolph, may website ba ang Fitness International? And magkano naman ang rates? What's LKG Tower's exact location along Ayala Avenue? I mean, what landmarks ang katapat or katabi niya?
Yung binanggit mo bang P2,000 eh annual membership fee? Wala siyang lifetime ano?

1. No website
2. PhP 2,000+ annual membership, PhP 1,400+ monthly due
3. I don't know if they have a package for lifetime membership, which I don't recommend
4. Exact address is LKG Tower Level 12B, Ayala Avenue. Telephone numbers: 8841161 to 64
5. The building is beside the Smart Center or PLDT Tower, three buildings from the corner of Ayala and Herrera. It is on the left side if you are heading towards Buendia. ABN Amro Bank is at the ground floor of the building.

Hmmm ayaw ko yung ambiance ng Fitness First. Parang bading na bading yung dating. Parang gusto kong mag-ballroom dancing instead na mag-workout. Parang bar. ahehehehehe

if you guys can afford it and really want to train seriously, then I would recommend that you go to gold's

Pare, ang Fitness International ba eh spartan ang gym o aircon din and glossy ang floor, equipment, and furnishings? Altho I'd agree with you, medyo "health club" talaga ang dating ng Fitness First pero OK na rin yan for my needs. I bet Gold's at Makati is now the veritable mecca of bodybuilding, health and fitness in the Philippines, like it was in California years ago, and perhaps still is today.:)

May sauna, lockers and showers with toilettries. It's not as fancy as Gold's and Fitness First.
I think Gold's is just hyped. Kasi bago pa. Pag nagtagal yan, it will be just like Clark Hatch. If you are really serious with bodybuilding, you don't need those fancy lights, trimmings and expensive monthly dues.

IMO I don't think Gold's is hyped. I tjust happens to be the #1 gym chain in the world. Have you happened to check out the equipment?? Though I am a firm believer in the use of free weights, I think that they have excellent equipment and as a lot of my friends who have seen the place say that it is worth the investment.

Yeah. I've seen the place. I am also a member of Gold's abroad.
I hope they are able to maintain the quality here in the Philippines.

gold's has three different plans and the monthly rates vary
gold's single is about 2500
gold's platinum is about 1500
gold's charter is about 750
vandolph,
I think they will maintain the standards knowing the name they have to live up to

Blake, pare, please specify details of Gold's Gym membership plans.

I'm a Fitness First Libis branch member. My comments na negative:
a) up to now we haven't been billed fo the past 2 months. baka magdoble doble or magkaproblem ang charges namin gaya ng mga Makati dudes like Pinbox said.
b) sabi sa brochure they embrace and follow "one set to failure" in weight training, in short, HIT (High Intensity Training).

I share the same sentiments. Based on what I've seen and heard from some members, most of the instructors are not qualified and dont have the credentials.
Bakit nga ba libre and softdrinks dun? dapat nga ipagbawal nila pag-inom ng softdrinks, iced tea and coffee.

How do I terminate my membership with Fitness First? I don't recall being told how to end my membership in case I should move to the United States (where there are no FF branches).
