Where to get dough for Christmas shopping?

well, people the christmas season is like practically around the corner. it's the time when people suddenly become oh so sweet and generous to all their friends and relatives. thing is before you get to all the fun part you need to pass the tough part, buying all the presents, and i have one question...san ba makakahanap ng racket for christmas money?

ummm...ako naka racket na ako.... well... courtesy of my broker friend...i got her to invest a small amount of money for me...presto! may pera na ako in just 2 weeks...anyway... if u will go into stocks din...i would suggest u be really careful and it's like gambling..u don't know if u are going to gain or lose.... be prepared to lose that money if something goes wrong.... yun lang... :) !

well, thanks for the idea but i was thinking more of in the line of mga things you can sell or whatever. scary ata mag stocks and bonds eh. lalo na now that things are pretty unstable in the country. but hey, thanks talaga for the suggestion. :)

You could try selling clothes to your classmates. or baked goods. They're usually pretty easy to sell.

the hype nowadays is to sell cell phones n other related stuff.... i heard u can sell em quick n make a fortune fast.... but the big problem is about the suppliers around.... those ********.... hehehehe

I think selling baked stuff is a good idea. There's a market for this. You can go around your village or sell to your relatives and friends. Yun nga lang, you have to make sure you bake good stuff. :)

try putting up a garage sale... i'm sure you have lots of old things ur not using anymore, mga tambak, old clothes, things etc... grabe, i think i earned more or less P 2,000 in a day! not bad right! pero u must choose a good place, tipong ang daming helpers na dumadaan and mga construction workers. ;)

But my own personal suggestion is to sell cookies by the dozen. My two friends and I raised a profit of over 7000 pesos last year just direct marketing these stuff.

All you really have to do is brand your cookies (or brownies) well, buy special boxes (I know that we used to get ours from this house in San Juan before) for packaging, then make flyers (1/4th bond paper size, 4 in one page), risograph them, and drop them off at every house in your village. Make sure you leave your phone number, cel, and pager so they can order from you. Give bulk discounts, say, with every 5 boxes they order, they get 10 percent off -- 15 percent if ten boxes.

You should make a killing if your cookies are good. Good luck!!!
