No one is perfectly objective. Being human obviously translates to a need to harbor a certain degree of emotion. What one can most probably do is to think as objectively as possible. It may be hard, but it's the closest one can get. :)

I have plenty of friends whom I wouldn't dare hire or go into business with, because I know how they work. They are so bad that if we were in business together, we'd be bankrupt in a few months.

Yet they are my friends.

My view of their business and work skills and their value as people are totally opposite. Trabaho lang, walang personalan.

sobrang untrue nga.

i had the most horrifying experience last term. grabe! how some people can get so unprofessional. they just weren't taught properly about setting personal differences aside and treat work as work and nothing more or nothing less. my grade was put on the line. as in one night before the submission some uncouth people dared to tell me that the groupwork is off and i'm on my own. pero atleast, now i know better. in the future, i'll know who to work with and who to avoid.

Kuya Danny: It takes a lot of discipline and professionalism for friends to be business partners. A lot if to be learned and everyone must be patient to weather all the problems of being entrepreneurs. Always learn to compromise and remember that there is no easy way to resolve a problem.
