IMDB Hey Arnold! (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0314166)

This is one of my all-time favorite toon and I'm so excited to watch it. Palabas kaya 'to sa Pinas?

Any thoughts?

Siguro nga kasi napanood ko sa Nick before na 'yung mga voices nila Arnold, Helga etc. are provided talaga ng mga child actors unlike most toons.

Oo nga siguro binata na 'yun, or nagpalit sila ng voice talent.

Nagpalit ng voice talent? Malamang.

Lalabas rito? I hope so. In the immediate future sana. Maybe they'll show it after the PPG movie and Lilo and Stitch.

IMHO, they HAVE to show it. Mukhang nahihirapan ang HA movie kasi sa US at the moment according to http://movies.yahoo.com .

P.S. Kailan kaya lalabas ang VCD nito? Lilo and Stitch fake VCD's are available already (just 10 days after its US release).

FYI, meron na palang HA the movie available sa mga VCD sa Virra Mall.

Also, surprisingly, HA the Movie had a larger first weekend box office result than the PPG Movie.

Aba! Ayon sa link na ito (if you look at it this week)

lamang pa ang HA the Movie kaysa sa PowerPuff Girls Movie sa US Box office overall. Unbelievable!

Balita ko lesser pa nga yung gastos sa HA The Movie than the PPG Movie.

Ako rin nakakita na ng vcd sa Greenhills.. Id rather watch it sa bigscree, though...

Talagang mas malaki ang kikitain ng HA kesa sa PPG kasi mas wide range ang HA...

PPG appeals to little or even teen girls while HA appeals to little girls and boys and lahat ng teens...

Realistic kasi ang HA kaya mas madaming nakakarelate.. The diversity of the characters make the whole thing work.

In the movie, Helga could not contain her feelings for Arnold.

She told Arnold she loves him.

Yeah, the voice of Arnold is done by someone else. Actually, sa TV -- dalawa yung nagv-VO for Arnold... but neither of the two did it for the movie. Sayang nga, favorite ko yung medyo paos na boses...

Ako rin. I'll watch it sa bigscreen din at bibilhin ko yung original kapag released na. Medyo malabo rin yung CD copies sa Greenhills. You get what you paid for alright!

The confession scene of Helga and Arnold was a pretty funny one. Actually, many HA fans sa US that I've chatted with, wanted to see this happen very very much. They've waited for this moment for years.

"HA The Movie" was not really designed for a movie to begin with. It was actually a Nick Flick, a sort of a short 1-hour theatrical piece or a "TV movie". It was actually called "Arnold Saves the Neighborhood" then.

May balak sana silang second movie to go after this one. Remember yung episode about Arnold's real parents (i.e. "Parents Day")? The supposedly second movie of Arnold is about the story of him searching for his real parents and how does Arnold react after Helga confessed to him.

Pero merong problema. Craig Bartlett, the creator of the series, is currently having relational problems with Nickelodeon. They're actually threatening to pull HA off the Nickelodeon TV lineup. They had a prior agreement to make new HA episodes and to create the second movie if and only if "HA: The Movie" earns well... to the tune of $15m on the first weekend.

But that didn't happen because "HA: The Movie" is around $13m right now and that's 4 weeks already. Pero mas kawawa yung PPG movie. Cartoon Network vowed never to make a movie off any of their cartoon series again. As for the HA Movie, may pag-asa pa siguro kung pinalabas siya internationally, including dito sa Pinas. ;)

And yes, I really like HA because of it's realism and its "down-to-earthness". It's sort of a big "breather" for me considering that I'm the type of a guy who likes Starcraft, Warcraft3, Battle Realms, and Counterstrike.

Ahh! I see. Kaya pala may relational problems si Craig B. with Nickelodeon. Kasi, merong parang "exclusivity contract" (meaning he shouldn't work with any other company) siya with Nick which he somehow defied. Currently, Craig B.'s working with Cartoon Network on a different series he also created. It's called "Party Wagon". I think parang HA raw iyon except na may "Wild West" setting.

Baka may chance lumabas rito pero di pa ako sure. Sa UK, December 20 ang definite showing ng HA Movie. I'm not sure if it's the UK lang ba or other countries as well (crossing my fingers).

DVD's in the US will come out by around December 31.
