1. An established and respected writer in the US (bec. there, at least, the Americans really read)
2. An ambassador (to France)
3. A sort of a hotel spy (I've seen this girl on tv once. she got paid by trying out all the best hotels and reporting about any irregularities or waning of services to its owners). Then I'll write about each country whenever time allows it. Or better, write my own novel in the process.
4. Yes, I'd also fall in line for that job at the Powerbook.

How about a National Geographic photo and video Documentor? Has anyone put it in his/her list of dream jobs? Job at Powerbook is also great, that is if you can read so much while doing your job. Sometimes that's the tragedy in working. You can't really do what you want even if you are already in your dream job.

my dream job when i was in highschool was to be a GRO. you can earn as much as 20000/night for talking to ppl. yun nga lang, sana no prostitution and guys arent allowed to touch me (as in kahit hold my hands or make me sit on their lap...no way!). gusto ko talk and party with them lang talga.
nway, now naman i'd like to host travellers (discovery channel). you get paid to experience the luxury of travelling around the world. sobrang cool!

They changed the title of 2 Guys, a girl and a Pizza place and removed the pizza place so they're not limited to the pizza place.
Dream Job
I'd like to manage a sports franchise somewhere sometime. My dream job is to work for an NBA or NFL or MLB franchise in public relations or marketing or something. Another would be working for ESPN or Fox Sports.
Peace.

in no particular order:
* a computer scientist -- as opposed to a programmer or software developer or software engineer -- at Bell Labs or some such institution, probably working on the next NEXT version of IP or other protocols that will affect the Internet as we know it. all we ever hear nowadays is 'business this, business that' in IT; i want to go back to the purity of science, where commercial concerns are eclipsed by the pursuit of pure scientific and technological idealism. knowledge for knowledge's sake, so to speak.
* one of those geeks that develop and run nuclear simulations on supercomputers at Los Alamos New Mexico
*and yes i have to say it, just like some others here -- a robotics engineer at NASA. i once wanted to be an astronomer, to look up at the sky and discover a new planet or something, but now i think that is just too passive for me. i'd rather be a robotics engineer or something; at least i'm not just sitting around waiting for things to happen, i'll be part of a team that MAKES things happen.
*a sci-fi novelist. so i can at least write about the stuff i have in mind, if i can't be a scientist.
*male giggolo if all else fails. *lol*

IF LEINIL Francis Yu possessed a mutant power, it would probably be his ability to work nonstop. Propelled by Starbucks coffee and kept company by the TV, Neil usually draws from midnight into lunch. Don't be fooled by his unassuming demeanor. He has rubbed out Wolverine many times over. He has also erased, repeatedly, Magneto, Sabertooth and the rest of Marvel Comics' mutants.

My dream job is to work and manage an agricultural business - a farm and poultry. Owning a couple of hectares of agricultural land in the province and making them productive is something that I look forward to when I finally retire from my current IT career, (though it's still far from today). It's really an audacious and a diversed goal, but I noticed that I have inclinations in the area of economics and agriculture.

leelayce-yes i was born and raised in the Philippines. My parents encouraged us to go to school abroad and since i was a kid, i've admired people who went to school abroad(i.e. some in my family and friends) and i wanted the same for me. When i graduated high school, i wasn't so sure if i wanted to study abroad anymore and my parents have this rule that if we decide to go to school in the States, we would have to go through one year in UP Diliman. So i did take that one year in Diliman and by the end of it, i felt that i really wanted to go abroad and fulfill my dream. Four years after and I'm graduating on May 19th :D It's the best choice i've made because i've learned so much from studying here, not just in terms of academics but also in terms of culture, direction, maturity and life. I highly encourage people to go to school abroad, if given a chance. I feel so much more accomplished, driven and motivated. Even my friends have seen the change. :D

Right, yes of course :) First I'll design and build a stylish, classier, safer and roomier alternative to the "owner jeep" and hopefully set the standards of Pinoy backyard auto design and engineering. Anyone still making "owner jeeps" after that should be ashamed of themselves. Passive humiliation in other words, for the sake of our motherland! :D After that, I'll proceed with the exotics... and then with F1. ;)
Yung mga industries na binanggit ko makakatulong in terms of exports. What can we really gain as a nation if we keep on sucking the very barya out of our own fellow Filipino's already seemingly abysmal pockets? There are other worlds out there we need to conquer and "steal" from with our produce.

Nope I don't think so. Walang mahirap, kung yaka nila yaka natin. Once we learn to do something we cannot unlearn it, every discovery opens new doors for other discoveries and opportunities and the only way we could make this happen is to get our hands dirty the same amount we use our brains, and compete.
I work for myself, myself for the Pinoy :) My interests (in my profile) best describes what I do. There's a lot more to those seemingly bland, old industries with the right amount of imagination ;)
