dude,

bodybuilding induces growth...not inhibit.

its a myth that you wnt get taller when you lift heavy weights. this is my only regret that i didnt start bodybuilding earlier when my growth hormones were as raging as yours. 17 yrs. old ka lang dba?

don take my word for it. research mo sa internet if bodybuilding will hinder your growth in height. as for me, i only started training seriously when i was 19 yrs old. if i only knew that it was a myth i would have started when i was 15. high school pa lang gusto ko na ng weight training.

To the people who know, I'm just curious if I need to wear a supporter everytime I do weights. There were people who told me that not doing so might result to 'luslos'. Any insights?

not wearing a supporter does not cause "luslos". not breathing when lifting heavy weights does. wear a supporter always when doing squats and deadlifts or any exercise that utilizes heavy weights and executed standing up.

i dont think nakakainhibit ng growth ang body building *****...hwag muna masyadong super bigat ..hinay hinay muna ..yun kase sabe sakin ng mga trainer ko nung 14 pa me( im a gurl btw..but i dont lift heavy weights...)
and also proper nutrition is essential :chomp:

biach,

good insight. nutrition is as important as training properly. malnutrition inhibits growth. bodybuilding and proper nutrition equals unbelievable growth in lean muscle mass.

for a girl its ok not to lift heavy because most dont want to get muscles. but for a guy who wants to get muscular heavy weights is a requirement. heavy weights stimulates muscle growth. light weights and high reps schemes only fatigues the muscles and causes over training.
