You're not restricted, TNT2bluz. I was suggesting that you state your reasons for not wanting to work in a particular company, aside from naming the company. If that company (or any other) knew the reasons, then they would know where to start improving.
And if you note the related topic "Best Company in the Philippines to work for" (http://www.pinoyexchange.com/Forum6/HTML/000006.html), the first post says:
If you could work for ANY company based in the Philippines, what would it be and why?
They ask why there, too.

No, you do not. There are many reasons one may not want to work for a company. Maybe you were a customer and got bad service. Maybe you know the owner and are familiar with the way he does business. Maybe you *are* the owner and you want all your employees to quit because you're about to close down the business.
Whatever your reasons, it's good to state them so that somebody who might be using your opinion to make a decision will know where you're coming from.

A certain broadband INTERNET COMPANY is somewhere near number one IMO.
I'd hate to be in a place where the turnover of talent is pretty high and where issues such as the company being bought back and forth within the group of companies puts it's future and eventually its employees security in question.
Besides how fulfilling is a job at a company whose customers aren't happy?
Heck there's no reputation to be gained unless you turn it around yourself. If you like the challenge why don't you give it a go and be your own Lee Iacoca.
AGAIN: (there happy?)

I hope, TNT2bluz, that you are speaking first hand. Did you work there?
Otherwise, I suggest to everyone who cares to post in this topic that they state why they think a company is bad to work for.
Remember, these companies are real and some of their employees might just be reading this thread. If you stated your reasons, you'll give them a chance to reply and maybe remedy the situation.

TNT2bluz: this is a very sensitive topic and if you're not careful with your choice of words then they might feel that your words are already libelous already.

Would you nominate your company for this list?
If it's in danger, could you do a "Lee Iacocca" on it? (I did read his autobio...)

a statement can only be libelous if it's not true..am i right in saying that?..if a person writes derogatory remarks about a certain company, so be it.. only an ignorant person would believe immediately to what he reads..
i can't understand why we need to tell someone to shut his mouth just because he wants to say his opinion or some other persons opinion..

Actually, I don't find anything wrong with what TNT did. He didn't name the company, so there's no direct intent to be libelous, and I think anyone can read between the lines to see his reasons. He alleges that customers aren't happy, that it keeps getting bought back and forth within its own group of companies, and even that there's a high turnover of talent. Those seem to be pretty specific to me without actually mentioning individual examples.
I don't see how a blind item can be considered libelous, especially as it seems he's posting to express his opinion or interpretation of events.
What he's done isn't even 1/10 of what has been written about SVI in the SVI thread, for example. Or that thread about bad customer service, where people resort to even stronger language (though, I'm willing to admit, many allege them from a first-person point of view, having experienced the bad service). Or even that thread about corporate "tsismis."
That's just my humble opinion, of course. :)
