IMA Launches its Corporate Partner Program http://www.ima.org.ph

IMA is committed to establishing programs and campaigns dedicated to promoting the welfare of the Filipino. The IMA is launching its two major projects for the school year 2000-2001 with the intention of addressing two essential needs of the Filipino family: education (through "All for Juan") and health care (through "Hope for Our Hospitals").

Other corporations that I know of who participate in community development activities and projects are http://www.nestle.com.ph and 3M http://www.mmm.com.

What did you have in mind? Did you have a specific need, or have an event that needs sponsorship?

thanks for the info clark :)

In the past few years, theres been an increasing awareness on business ethics, social accountability, etc. Not only in the Philippines, but all over the world, companies have realized that each and everyone of them has a distinct corporate responsibility... which is actually good

anyways, i just wanted to know how other companies or organizations define their corporate social responsibility :) especially here in the Philippines. (MNCs, SMEs, etc.) http://www.pinoyexchange.com/wonder.gif

We don't have our own, but we join the GMA Foundation's projects, and I'm looking forward to more.

I think this is important as a company sees the community as a stakeholder beyond just the owners, employees and customers.
