Re: content of interviews. I wonder if there is a formula. I doubt it. It depends on the specific people who make up the panel.

When panel interviews are going right for you, no single member of the panel controls the flow of questioning, and it is a very interesting experience. I have been to some in my job hunting days, and I prefer them to one-on-ones, especially because most of the standard interview questions are asked, and answered, only once.

But when panel interviews are really bad, you can have the panel ganging up on you and it can be really intimidating.

Some tips.

Please always keep in mind that the person who asked you the question is not the only person in the room who is interested with your answer. Always acknowledge the person who asked the question and share to the other interviewers your thoughts.

KuyaDanny is right, sometimes during panel interviews, they asked questions twice without meaning it so be patient and answer them in the best way/manner you can. Your friends are right, you really have to read the newspaper and sometimes, you really can't "prepare too much".

thanks! i agree..there's really no direct formula nor any preparation except being yourself and answer in the best manner possible...i just hope i won't be so nervous and will have enough confidence to answer whatever question they will throw at me..;)
but il still be doing all the research and stuff just to make sure i wont be caught offguard :D ...interesting :)
