It is "that" important to your parents and to the people who really look up to a PRC license. But generally, most Electronics companies do not require licenses.
I have a simple advice to you... check out Jobstreet. I'm sure you'll find a lot openings, it's in getting hired though when you'll really have to prove your worth.

It would be plus factor if you have a license and apply for work.
But there are many...as in many companies that dont look at that.
Esp. yung mga electornics.
I think DigiTel needs ECEs coz there gonna start there cellular service by next year. Smart, Globe meron din.
Tama. you dont know where your course will take you but as long you enjoy it it would not matter.

If you're looking for a really "kuripot" na company, then DIGITEL is it.
