morning viewers arent tuning in thier tv sets, becuase they want to watch a show thats "masaya". the reason why ASYM reformatted is because they wanted to focus on bringing NEWS and INFORMATION to the public. besides UNANGHIRIT is reminiscent of ASYM.

ASYM have to reformat the show kasi kinarbon copy ng Unang Hirit ang mga segments ng ASYM. I guess people look for the news & not the "harutan" duh?

when I came back home last year, my family preferred ASYM & Breakfast on ANC than UH. I'm just not familiar with UH hosts & I thought the show was horrible. I hate that guy (dunno his name). yung look alike daw ni Aiza? (sorry but he does resemble to aiza)

Mas ok ang format ng MUB ngayon.

Importante kaseng news sa akin, lalo na sa umaga. E yung Unang Hirit,nakakatuwa...pero hanggang doon lang. Hindi ako naniniwala sa kanila kapag nagne-news sila. Hindi credible.

You know what's irritating about UH? I remember last year when I was home, palagi silang nagpaparinig sa ASYM. To know na it's a current affair show--- ay naku! WHERE INSECURES BELONG talaga.

I believe this move was intentional. It's called branding, and it reinforces the idea that when you have a show that's named after this "pattern," you'd immediately recognize that it's an ABS-CBN show. I think it was de Castro's wife who suggested that the show be named MUB, to follow MGB and MTB.

Regarding the format, mas gusto ko yung MUB. I also like to get the news in the morning, and I find myself amused at the banter between the hosts. Yung UH for me is too "showbiz" and irritating to actually be enjoyable.

Unang Hirit. Actually tried watching both as an experiment and watching Unang Hirit made me laugh, as in tawa ng tawa, esp. yung portion nina Arnold, Rhea and Susan Enriquez, okay yong portion na yon na nagcomment sila sa issues, etc. Okay din si Suzy Entrata and TJ Manotoc even yung si Zora.

MUB kasi walang chemistry hosts at very dry silang lahat. At kakasawa silang panoorin.

Added news: Ryan Agoncillo is joining Breakfast at Studio23 together with Ria and JC. Well Looks like he's back doing what he was originally doing before which is morning shows. hehehe.

MUB is what a morning show should be. Not too showbiz-like, not too noisy, but effective in giving a good waker-upper.

In fact, it is patterned after US morning shows, which was what I like in the first place.

uh, have you seen UH? who are you to tell me i'm wrong? i've been watching UH eversince they don't deliver their news that way. i refuse to watch MUB for the same reason these rabid ABS fans refuse to watch UH.

Answer this question first before you immediately jump to concluding which is which program I am referring to:

Whatever is your idea behind your answer, try to check what credilbility is. Then don't limit yourself to watching only one morning show. That is not learning my friend. My suggestion is try watching Good Morning America, Breakfast, MUB aside from spending your morning time watching your favorite UH. Comparing these programs and deciding which has/have the plus in getting the advertizers' and the audience's (especially the masa ) appeal will help you realize that there is life behind the UH. Afterwards look deeply how these programs try to inform and entertain people without trying to break other's credilbility. At hindi nagpaparinig o sumisira sa kalabang programa. Showbiz na yan. That's why it is imperative in newscasting to stick to the truth and say nothing else. They don't have to resort to black magic (if u know whaT I mean) to gain public interest. And lastly my friend, pls answer (again) this another question?
Are your UH hosts holds the credibility you're looking in newscasting or are they simply entertainers who you want to please you? Or are they really newscasters(literally)? Whatever your answer is, I 'll not argue with you but I'll just say wake up sleepyhead.:cool: :cool:

it's true that Unang Hirit is responsible for the steep decline of the audience share of ASYM but since they've incorporated the show-within-a-show concept,ASYM regained its popularity and its old viewers thus the birth of MUB.
