Gas pain is medically known as acute gastritis secondary to flatus (gas). It is caused by various factors ranging from ingestion of gas producing bacteria, intake of certain gas producing (nonabsorbable carbohydrate producing) food like beans and simply swallowing too much air.

Check the tummy. It's distended with air and when you tap on it, there's a "hollow sound".

So what's the cure for gas pain and how do we prevent it? Kasi i always feel that my tummy is very full thats why sometimes i feel parang d ako makahinga den masakit tiyan ko as in yung mahapdi and im confused if its hyperacidity or gas pain...

The usual Kremil-S usually does the trick.

If you are prone to gas pain, try avoiding the gas producing foods that I've mentioned.

If symptoms of gas pain persist, better have yourself checked to rule out other problems.

Thanx eyedoc...i did take kremil-s nawala yung hapdi ng tyan ko kaya lang i still feel napakapuno ng tyan ko coz i think marami pa ring hangin pero wala na ang pain as it was before...:p

I always have gas pain everytime my boss is around. Masyado siguro akong na-te-tense :D

Na-try ko na Kremil-S but mas effective ang TUMS. It's in fruity flavors so it doesn't have a medicine-like aftertaste, unlike Kremil-S.

Tums is calcium hydroxide. It's also an antacid. Other people swear by Maalox (aluminum hydroxide-magnesium hydroxide). Use whatever works best for you.
