TriggerStreet.com will serve as an online workshop and showcase for aspiring screenwriters and filmmakers.
Visitors are invited to upload their own scripts or short movies.
Each user can only participate by agreeing to review others' submissions, using a set of common criteria.
Top peer-ranked work will feature in online film festivals and receive the scrutiny of top names in the industry.
According to www.HollywoodReporter.com Mike Myers, Sean Penn, Annette Bening and Bono are also backing the site.
