Pano nga ba kumuha nito?
What steps do I take in order for me to acquire one?
What requirements/things do I need to do to be able to get one?
And how much will it cost me?
Info will be appreciated. Thanks! :)

ako kasi, i applied personally dun sa DFA nung year 2000. i dunno if travel agencies can do the applying for you, but certainly it'll cost more. :)

I don't know how much a new passport costs now, but it used to be P500 when you yourself would apply for it and follow up on the processing. Travel agencies, I believe, charge around P1300-P1500 now. If you're too lazy to do it yourself and if you can afford it, I suggest you just have a travel agency do it for you.
Some of the things I believe you will need are:
- birth certificate authenticated by the NSO
- baptismal certificate (not sure on this one)
- marriage contract (if married)
- passport-size pictures
Check with a travel agency na lang to be sure, di ko na masyado kasi maalala eh. :bonkself:

Ay, oo nga... pinasama rin ako sa DFA nun for personal appearance, pero yun lang ang ginawa ko, aside from submitting the requirements. :)

Kung may personal appearance pa rin if applying through a travel agency, pipila pa rin ba?

Yes, kasi hindi lang naman ikaw ang nag-aapply ng passport di ba?
But that's the last part of the process. After that you'll just wait until the passport is released to your agency so you could pick it up.

The nice thing about applying through an agency is that there are fewer applicants using this option, thus shorter lines. In my case, I just stayed in that area for less than 20 minutes.

Hmmm...
Ano-anong agency ba ang pwedeng pagapplayan? Tsaka ano mgat contact numbers nila and address?
Kelangan ba i accomplish muna yung form na nandun sa website ng DFA and then along with the other reqts bgo ka makaapply directly or sa ibang agencies?

Mapapamahal ka kung kukuha ka pa ng Agent.
A 32-page passport costs P500 only. Tapos kung gusto mong ipa-deliver you'll add P200, walang hassle.
Sa una lang naman mahaba ang pila, pero sa payment/cashier mabilis na. Agahan mo lang ang punta mo, maaga ka rin matatapos. :)

ako sa China Travel ako kumuha.
i don't know the exact addy pero basta manila yon! :D
as for nailbiter's query....
mahaba pila pero it won't take too long kase yung
mga tao dun na nagaayos ng pila e yung mga taga-agency den.
kaya naman walang singitan. :)

If you have a relative who works for the government, baka pwede mo sa kanya ipalakad because DFA has a courtesy lane for government employees. Allowed ata na maiprocess ng government employees ang passport ng relatives nila (not sure up to what degree). This is cheaper than hiring an agency to process your passport. This is not an under the table kind of business. Meron lang talagang lane that is designated for government employees, and relatively, mas konti ang nakapila dun.
