Hi! I am trying to put up a small business. If you know of a supplier (straight supplier, not middle man) ng mga authentic jewelries (white gold, two-tone, diamond stones, gems), please refer them to me. Please PM me.

Thank you very much!!!!

:)

Hi krinkles2002!

Most people would like to help, but not too many should give their suppliers to anyone, unless they're the suppliers themselves :)

Where will your shop be located? I might know someone who can help you, but I'm not sure if he's willing to give any info. Worth a try though :)

actually its not really a business where i have store or something.... parang ide-deal ko lang sa mga friends ko, and I hope to get a better price sa supplier talaga. Tapos kase nagdedesign din ako, so I want to sell my own designs.

I tried thru a middle man pero parang it will not work kase dalawa na *** nasa middle dba, so the price wont be as competitive.

If you know someone, please email me at greenleaf_1980@yahoo.com.

Will really appreciate it!!!! :)

look up Guild of Philippine Jewelers and the Meycauayan Jewerly Industry Association.

questions: are you targetting the local or export market? if you're for the local market, talk to meycauyan people. many GPJ invest in mechanized operations and employ full-time designers and marketers for markets in the US, Hong Kong and Europe. manual operations simply won't cut it for the export market.

if you're bent on the local market, here's a tip. don't limit yourself to fine jewelry (gold, silver, precious stones). try to look into the market for fashion jewelry as well. volume demand here is much greater and the raw materials are cheaper. the only disadvantage is that fashion jewelry are very faddish and their product life cycles are awfully short.

good luck.
