Why is it that every Fathers Day, text messages abound reminding us dads that we are still at our wives' mercy? I mean, who didn't get text messages like "Sa BOSS at SIGA dyan sa bahay niyo, pakisabi batiin ang asawa niya ng happy fathers day" or "Sa TIGRE ng tahanan, happy fathers day. Binabati ko rin ang TRAINER ng tigre. Good work. Masunurin ang TIGRE."
Though in jest, messages like these irritated me, to the point that upon reading them I immediately invited my wife to a bloody confrontation, where fists and knuckles flew in wild abandon. When the smoke cleared, we knew exactly who was THE BOSS.
