I'm so bored na ****. But then again, I just can't resign immediately. I need to find a job that's more interesting and pays more than my current job.

Lemme see. I have an X-Box, a PS2, and a Nintendo GC and a 14" colored TV right behind me, a selection of personally owned games for the consoles, including PCs for Kohan Thursdays and Flashpoint Fridays. Hmmm. What are the chances I can get bored with these at reach without any fear of my boss since the company supplied it? :D

i would count the minutes before I can finish work, I dread waking up in the morning, and I sometimes cry in front of the computer. Life in a call center really sucks, at least for me.
and I even have a contract for six months, but I thought, I can't go on like this every day... i'd rather die. so I'm quitting. bahala na si batman and I don't care if my next job pays lower, as long as I keep my sanity.
I mean, if i die tomorrow, i would have just wasted my existence!

sometimes, even when work is stressful, you find that it's boring at the same time :)
I was so bored when I was in an auditing firm, that when I read "Who Moved My Cheese?" By Dr. Spencer Johnson, I quit immediately, and now I couldn't be any happier :) I suggest you read it guyz.
And i've attended a FranklinCovey training called "What Matters Most", designed by Stephen Covey, the author of "7 habits of highly effective people". It can help you to find direction in your life tremendously :)

i thought xciting ang work sa call centers cuz u get to talk to people like in every minute. and u could get away w/ it when u **** up cuz of the distance and anonymousity. :)

Well, at times. The writing part is OK, though when you write the same stuffs (jeans, restaurants, kid channels, even for a kid mag  ) it kind of burns me out.
Also, in a company where people just come and go in a months time, it kinda bores and frustrates me coz I cant establish rapport easily. Pay could get better so at least I am hoping the people around me can compensate for the lack of financial contentment.
Well, there are times when I entertain thoughts of jumping ships (I even have a scheduled job interview later ;) ) I think Id rather stay put for the next few weeks, complete my 6-month probation, and then test the waters again. As some Pexers mentioned in some threads, I have to consider the positive side to every story I have.

boredom in the workplace is nothing unusual. there could be several factors---there's nothing to do at all, the job isn't challenging enough to make you think or analyze, having sleazy bosses who cannot inspire you to do well and excel in your job...the list can go on and on.
it can only be a phase you're going through. you can easily overcome it by being productive and learning other skills related to your job.
it won't hurt, plus you get to be preoccupied and on your toes when things pick up around the office.
