congrats sa pagpasok sa convergys. so far wala akong problema sa management, sobrang mababait at maalaga sila sa agent. they will really try to keep you with them. i know coz i already passed my resignation and they really tried to keep me. wala ako masabi sa style nila, it's just that i really have to go. btw, ibm sprint account ko. sobrang daming incentives nila for the employees, especially the top performers. Good luck na lang sa account na mapapasukan mo. Congrats!

Hi!

I just went through the grueling application process all the way to the final interview today, and am currently awaiting final judgement. XD LOL The interviewer said to expect the email tomorrow morning.

I just wanted to ask -- I'm too extremely tired to rummage through the thread pages, please pardon -- how long is Convergys's so-called 'training bond'? (In other words, how many months am I required to stay so that I don't have to pay them back?) :| See, I'm still a student and my main worry is how the sked may clash with my schooling in the long run.

EDIT: I read about the 4-month bond after all. :D What I'd like to know now is whether or not those 4 months would include the 1 1/2 months supposedly for training.

tortillchip... in case you haven't got the answer to your question.. yep *** 4-month includes the training period. that's what they call "stay-in period." meaning, you have to stay with cvg for 4 months. after 4 months, ure cleared to go.

sorry to disappoint ur sis, but cvg only hires applicants who were on their 2nd year of college at least.. kung gusto nya mag-ipon ng money for her school try nya sa ibang call center (that is, if they allow high school grads) or *** ibang domestic jobs... or kung nakaabot sya sa auditions ng pbb teen edition mas okay, hehehe...:D :D :D kiddin'.

i used to be with cvg under chase fraud but i resigned already. anyway, i have friends @ hr & i also asked them about the gsk acct. sabi sa akin they (cvg) just tagged it as an acct under cvg pero *** prod floor nya is not located in cvg1. may sariling prod floor sila (my best guess is within the gsk compound), kaya even the hr ppl @ cvg nahihirapan silang i-reach out kasi ang layo nila. but yeah, its a domestic account daw.

usually two months training unless it's a tech account which may take another month or so...

they will hire you as long as you have good ommand of the language.

hmmm,, wala na ako sa convergys pero mga advantages of being a convergys employee ay:::

sa benefits,medical at life insurance may maxicare kami pati din ang mga dependents namin..so kung may anak ka or unemployed parents e makikinabang sila dito..

Sa bayad e competitive naman, magnda dito e wlang training allowance,kung ano ang sweldo mo sweldo mo **** habang training.. san ka pa nakakita nun? binabayaran ka habang ngbabakasyon..

Napagusapan naman din ang training, ang training sa convergys ay the best.. wala ako masabi.. hands down,the best trainers at facilities ay talagang maibibigay ng convergys..

kaya naman ako nagresign e panget account ko.. pinaka irate ata na account sa buong call center industry...

im a previous employee of CVG too... came from a part-time account in makati(the account is only in makati)... per hour ang rate... least hours of work is 4 hours... shift starts @ 6am... yes the training is paid... nice benefits too yun nga lang not the same as regular 8hour employee that has a medicare which dependents can also use... life insurance meron... this account is preferred mostly by students or those with other job besides call center jobs... the name of the account is KMS... outbound survey... super easy ng work... training is 2 weeks as far as i can remember... this account just started 2003... im from wave 1...

All i can say is sobrang stable ang CVG.. i'm currently employed sa PBCom branch na CVG, t'was my 1st job pero ok tlgang training ground 'to! *okay*

I passed everything (initial to ordinate) up to the final interview, but I was only applying for a part time. They said na walang available part time at the moment, at kelangan ko pang mag wait til August to know kung me maoopen (meaning hindi pa guaranteed na meron T_T)

yes bsta 2nd year college education.. kung cvg commonwealth they have tech accounts and they hire tech csrs na may i.t or tech related background.. what to expect? a call sim exam in short, call simulation ng pagiging call center agent.. you will rate the responses of each situation.. tip lang dito ay makinig mabuti at iwasan i repeat ang scenario dahil bawas points un..

OO tumatanggap sila ng undergrad. Dami ko kakilala na undegrad sa CVG at un iba malapit na ma promote. 2 or 3 years of college yata ang minimum.

Commonwealth has a very nice working environment. In fact mas maganda pag ang office nito compared sa CVG Ortigas and CVG Enterprise. Maluwag malaki tapos daming mga shops sa ground floor like BENCH Hair Fix Salon, Netopia, MiniStop Atbp.


About naman sa interview. Expect the usual lang Strenghts and Weaknesses. What do you know about convergys. Your skills and relation to the job your applying for. How long will you stay (Say forever dapat). What is your short and long term goal. the usual....

based from my count, many people say its better in sykes but the thing is that sykes will assign me to the qwest account which many have bad experience. on the other hand, cvg is assigning me on the sbc account and gave me 20% better offer than sykes. anyone feedbacks here on sbc account?

After the final interview should be the contract signing.

You cannot eliminate irate callers. They are just a small percentage anyway of the calls that you will be getting. Just be careful not to make nice callers become irate because of what you are doing.

if ure askin about the difficulty of calls sa chase frodopereyshens, it's more on the bulk of the calls themselves. like, on a daily basis, u'll get an average of 50-60 calls (tapos *** mga customers pa may gana magalit sayo dahil ure just makin' sure na they're the ones who actually used their cards.. pero kapag nagkaroon sila ng fraud charges magagalit din sila because we're not doin our jobs..:grrr: ) sa tech? ala akong info eh..

jayc333, I am with a tech account in Ortigas. An average of 20+ calls per shift which depends on your AHT. There was an outage weeks ago and I received around 52 calls that day. So the volume of call really changes... but with 20 something calls per shift would be good enough for your AHT.

i signed a contract for cvg as tech support first week of may. next month pa starting date ko! badtrip haba ng vacation!

my final interview lasted less than a minute hehe.. questions like:
1. reason for leaving previous company
2. willing to work on graveyard shifts, holidays etc. ? - just say YES
3. planning to stay longer with the company blah blah ? - say SURE, AS IN, PROMISE! hehe kiddin'

ah mukhang wala ka pang idea kung ano ang trabaho ng isang call center agent..di sya scripted lalo na sa tech support dahil mag troubleshoot ka ng concern ng caller over the phone.. ndi pwede maging scripted dun.dapat matindi ang product knowledge mo sa account mo dahil di ka magbabasa ng manual sa kausap mo.. believe me..di sya *** tulad na iniisip na iba na isang telephone operator na nagbabasa ng manual.. u better research muna sa mga earlier threads dito para may idea ka..
