agree ako with brad-pogi... bakit mo pa pahihirapan yang sarili mo with so many questions about the bond & whether to go with it or not. in the first place, alam mo naman na may bond sa convergys along with the clause stipulated in the contract. kahit sa ibang call center meron yan.. kung talagang balak mong mag-call center, take the risk. otherwise, pag-aralan mo muna nang mabuti yang mga galaw mo at kung papaano tumakbo ang industriya bago mo planuhing mag-apply... just my two cents. :hmm: :hmm:

1) How do they deal with part-time applicants?
2) Is there a chance that I can work there on a permanent (non-shifting) work shift, either part-time or full-time?

24 hours. hahahaha. i called them up a few days later after they offered me a job to tell them that ive decided to sign up already. and then, sabi sakin... i have to wait 2 weeks or so pa daw coz theyre gonna do a background check pa daw. :rolleyes:

hmm maarte kasi convergys sa paghire ng agents.. scrutinize pa nila background mo including your referrals..or pwede din na pumirma ka na tapos ssunod na *** background check.. you are not waiting in vain chong..sa hirap kumuha ng quality employees sigurado akong tatawag sila para sa job offer..

hmm..*** kind of job are u looking for really? if you really want to work for a call center you have to be ready..ready for the stress associated with the job..on the good side,masaya katrabaho mga tga convergys..cultured at marunong makisama..except for some epals.. I think the only reason that holds you back is you are not ready for a call center job..hmm...di kaya?

ano ba masasabi ko, as a previous TCCR from CVG, i can say na medyo kulang ang CVG sa training facilities, (di nga *** nkpghands on ng mga ka-wave ko eh)... then ng-training *** for 3rd party router wala man lang hands on sa mga devices, then hindi pa trainer ang ng-training ****... eto pa, hindi kaagad nabibigay *** payslip (galing pa daw kung saang bansa), then papalit-palit ng sked every week... kyo mga tol, may madadagdag pa b kyo? but at least the pay is quite good, but it didnt work for me...hehehehe!!! (dami lang talagang panalo na chikas)hehehehehehe!!! :))

Convergys has several sites you may apply in Enterprise Center 8th floor or at Convergys One Building near Makati Med along Ayala Ave, you may also apply in Alabang, its in Northgate Cyberzone even in Ortigas. The one in Ortigas is in Equitable -PCI towers beside Holiday Inn Hotel. The guard will tell you where to pass your resume. :)

carlos5, I have a friend who is studying and working at the same time. She is given the morning shift all the time because of her studies. You might want to tell the people from HR that you are still studying so that they can fix your training schedule as well.

babymerchant, at the first day of your training you will be given a list of documents that you need to submit which includes SSS and TIN. You are expected to accomplish that within a month. So I guess no need to bring them yet during the application.

well it depends on a lot of factors,
first if your team has the highest performance standing your
team will be allowed to dress down meaning casual attire.

second, if your team crosses the boundary of the minimum AR or
absencentism rate your team will be forced to dress up meaning
super Business Attire.

thirdly, your team is on average standing and you have low AR.
you'll be allowed to dress down.

this is all in monthly scores.

At our account in Commonwealth (DirecTV), we have this incentive that for every score of 5 out of 5 for Customer Satisfaction (a customer is surveyed every week then gives feedback about the agent he/she transacted with), we get to dress down for the entire workweek. *okay*

They won't terminate you instantly just because you failed during the training. Let's just say that you will be given another chance to redeem yourself. The company is paying you already, right?

However, attendance is a big issue though during your probationary period. I believe that they really do terminate people with lots of absences and tardiness. It also depends on how nice your trainer is.

if u come to think of it, disadvantage tlaga sayo. it's fine if u can wait that long, but there are more companies out there who has comparable comp and benefits then u can start immediately pa. my CVG job offer was May 2 but start date was supposedly june 05. then moved to june 12. pero final na raw june 19! waiting for almost two months now is not a problem in my case. excited na ko to start next week. btw, ortigas site tech support *** me.

Well, i had worked there as Team Lead for a year in Commonwealth site to tell you honestly, the process is flawed a lot of loopholes are uncovered which pisses me off because for a company claiming to be number 1 they should have at least covered 90%.

but as soon as i left them, i now work as a T. Manager a higher position and and a much bigger salary than their OMs back there in Commonwealth who i think are know it all OMS.

They didn't tell me kung nakapasa ako but they said na to wait for their call not later than monday. does that mean na hindi ako pumasa? ganun ba talaga ang process, tatawagan na lang o directly sasabihin kung nakapasa ka. anybody here who can answer me? nope sorry. sa convergys kasi sinasabi agad kung kailan yung job offer mo. i have a friend who went through your way. sabi nung recruiter, tanggap na sya and with questions like, if you're willing to start asap bec training starts tomorrow. there. my friend waited and got no call. when I sent an email to recruitment, they said that on active file daw yung sa friend ko and said that she didn't pass. i got pissed off sobra kasi sabi ko, "we're a company who claims to have "integrity above all" as one of our values. How come you said something and made an applicant hope for a job that in the end, you'll just say that she didn't pass."

sorry to say ganyan talaga ang ibang recruiter sa cvg. which makes me flaming mad:grrr: :grrr:

but anyhow, its still a case to case basis malay mo naman iba yung sayo. but just to not lead you on, don't keep your hopes up too high.

in my case, my final interviewer gave me a week to decide and asked me to give her a call or email her if ever i couldn't reach her. the thing is, i've been calling her for two weeks (direct line) and nobody has answered my calls except an answering machine. so i just emailed her twice. still, no replies. what does that mean? during the final interview she told me i passed, but i was a little hesitant bec. august pa daw next training for tsrs. then, she gave me a week. what should i do? should i go there and look for her or what?

hi ask ko *** po... kase nagtry ako magapply sa convergys alabang. and I passed the exam and nung final interview nung binigay saken yung letter she's endorsing me sa future perfect. when I went to future perfect dumaan pa ulit sa assessment and then sabi convergys dw ang tatawag samen for schedules etc.

I just want to ask if there are instances na hindi na tinatawagan? hehehe. mejo nanghihinayang kase ako kung hindi matawagan kase naipasa ko naman yung mga exam and once ko *** tinake yun. so sana matawagan.

i posted my resume online and some girl "KAREN" from convergys alabang (daw) if gusto ko daw mag try sa convergys alabang. so, nagpa sched ako next friday july 7. im a private tutor 4 lil kids, it doesnt pay that much but ok na din kc i get to stay at home while working and wake up late and still have a social life. i want to continue pa din sana, ok lang kaya un or u think ba na mahihirapan ako i-balance *** oras if ever na mkakapasa ako sa Convergys? naisip ko kc na night shift **** ***** ako if ever na makapasok ako dun. how many interviews all in all do i have to go through? ok lang ba 2 yr course graduate lang? hope to hear from u. do they descriminate people with walking disabilities? how friendly is da workplace? sa Convergys alabang din ba ang training? i hope to hear from anybody.... thanx!

Try reviewing the previous pages I think someone mentioned that 2 years in college is the minimum requirement.

Convergys has an open door policy. Discrimination is not allowed there. They do not care about your religion, race, sexual preference, etc. So long as you can do the job, you are in.

I was based in Ortigas and have never been to the Alabang site. Trainings are held at the Insular building in Ayala, Makati. The sites have ramps and elevators so using a wheelchair is not an issue.

With regards to the schedule, I am really not so sure. Just try not to sacrifice your health. Hope that helps...

iv worked with convergys before. compensation's good. when i left, my basic is 15k (increase and regularization increae included), but i think pay is higher now, based from my teammates. training is the best. modesty aside, i can proudly say and usually distinguish people who have worked with convergys from people who came from other call centers, because the communications training in convergys is really good. fun environment. a lot of perks. i just left because i had to study again. piece of advice, once you're in, take advantage of their internal hiring. :)

My cousin told me that convergys, people support and sykes are the highest paying call center to date. I dont know how true so I would like to ask from the source. i have made up my mind kanina lang. hindi nalang ***** ako maga-apply sa CVG kc nadagdagan ang mga students ko and parang kikitain ko naman yung money, halos magkalapit na. nakapag commit na din ako kaya ayoko **** masira sa mga parents. i want to try pero im sure marami pang work jan na katulad ng convergys. there is this AIG BPO din daw sa philamlife bldg. data encoder naman, fixed ang sched nila 9pm to 530am and walang work pag weekends. ok na ***** yun part time, atleast 2 jobs na ako if ever makapag apply and maka pasa ako dun.

1. i dont know how many shifts there are but ive been to 6am-2pm, 10-6am, and 5am to 2pm in the almost 2 months that ive been with cvg
2. ive been shifting scheds for every 3 weeks now iba kase for cct, pst, and now transition..although meron iba nd nagchange for cct and pst
3. basic is 13,500
4. dress code is smart casual from monday -thursday, friday-sunday is dress down
5. and no u cant do any of those while waiting for calls sorry..

if your shift starts in the morning 'til 2300H, smart casual yan (e.g: polo or polo shirt (basta may collar) then slacks and leather or formal shoes. sa ladies, i guess bawal ang sleeveless pero as long as you have something na puwedeng ipatong like jacket or blazer puwede rin (and mind you, sometimes di naman nasusunod yun, eh) basta hindi mahigpit TL mo, oks lang... you can dress down (meaning shirt, jeans and rubber shoes during fridays, saturdays and sundays and if you're on the reverse mid na sched (start of shift is 12 midnight and the latest is 0300H)... aun po :naughty:
