you'll be alright. just give that 1902 to hr they will be the one to process that for you. they will still call you if thats the only problem that you have . alrighty :)

help ulit pls...malayo kasi place ko from manila...yung sa interviews ba sunodsunod?,i mean pagnakapasa ka initial interview susunod na agad final interview or another schedule again?



heres the recruitment process:
1. profiling - (a little exam about computer stuff or IT stuff) they will just assess you if could work as CCR or TCCR
2. interview - this could be your last interview (final interview) - so be good at this one. sometimes they'll require you to read something, just to assess your pronunciation and diction. an interview could last up to an hour or so. so be prepared. if you are applying for the tech post of course they'll dig you about your "stack or stock" - (debatable ) hehe knowledge about IT stuff.
3.on line examinations: depends on the position your applying for. (its easy) ... for tech, they'll require you to pass the 45 words per minute typing speed test.
4. job offer :)

yup. depends on the account though. for "most" TCCR applicants they had it 45 wpm. when i had mine they asked me to do 40 wpm but then i failed the first try so they gave me a chance to take the typing exam again and asked me to go on 45 wpm, luckily i made it.

for CCR post they will only ask you to do 32 - 35 wpm.

Well.. it will really be a pleasure to work with CVG. They provide excellent training and great working environment. SOPHISTICATED. Your comm skills will really improve. It used to be my DREAM call center.

For practical people like me... CVG is not for me. Why?? Hehe.. That's all. I better shut up. Basta.. hehe.

I would recommend call center newbies to start with CVG. Kapag galing kyo CVG madali nlng mkapasok sa iba. Its prominence will help you. IBA ka, you're special, if you came from CVG!!!!

somehow the same. if you'll be qualified for the position you are applying for; within the day you will get your contract and you will have a start date for your cct training, but there would be a time that an applicant is required to undergo a 2 week free training first, that if a recruiter could see that you have a potential to go for a cct training.

CCT is a 12-day thingy..its not so much about the accent but more on prepositional phrases, modals, american culture, group presentations etc..oral exam is a 4-min presentation about any topic of your choice plus mock call..2 0r 3 written exams distributed within the 12-day training...Our CCT trainer was Kaia Aguas--nice gal..

Now, I'm having second thoughts since from the past entries in several threads in PEX, a lot of agents from CVG are actually protesting that Bellsouth accounts are hell.

How true are these? Thanks in advance. I'll appreciate any heads up.

Bell South is a Technical account. This would be easy for you if you have an idea about DSL networking; so i suggest that you start researching and reviewing stuff about dsl and what not. Do you have a technical support experience or at least a call center experience? this is just like any other technical account environment or production, the difference is that you are working at Convergys and I can assure you that you'll learn a lot from this account. Promotion will be depending on you and the people around you so take advantage of all good things.

I'm not exactly enthusiastic about math and CVG commonwealth is much nearer my place so I'm thinking of going with CVG. Yep, had previous TSR exp. Not with DSL though, for xbox 360.

I like your post actually. Something that some applicants should know. Remember when we(us) apply to work in a call center we see these applicants hoping and praying to get in and to work. We see moms and other applicants that when they are done with the final interview and you see their faces and you can tell whether they made it or not. Long faces, sad eyes... large eyes, stretched smiles.. you can tell. What I'm pointing out here is that when an applicant made it through, grab the opportunity.

The minimum educational level to be considered by Convergys are those with at least 2 years college education.

As for promotion, you are eligible for promotion based on your performance even if you have yet to graduate. But, Convergys urges employees to continue with their studies even during their employment.

my question is this: as i was reading thru the contract, i read that they will do a background and credit check, and see if i have any credit history issues. actually, i have a couple of credit cards that i've been delinquent on. ive actually restructured the payment on them but have not been able to follow my payment sked 100% due to financial difficulties.

will this be enough to cause me trouble in the background check? or is this only important for those in financial accounts?

2nd week of july napadpad ako sa robinsons galleria, sakto may jobfair at nag-apply ako sa convergys. sabi tatawagan daw ako. sabi ko naman pwede ba na tawagan nalang ako by august kasi 2 weeks ako na out of the country. pero sabi ng mama ko tumawag na daw *** convergys. kainis talaga.

hmmm.. this is the first time that i've heard of this new process by HR.. am not sure if this will give you trouble or anything. not to discourage you, dude.. but CVg is really known for making background checks on their employees.. talagang kakabugin ka.. but if you've got nothing to hide, then why should you be?*okay*

^hehe patawa yan, ewan ko ah, sa alabang...i know this certain employee first job nya, naka 3 months na s cvg, ang napasa lang eh resume tska yung sa credit card form...nag AWOL sya. then nakapagapply ulit sya sa isa pang call center, di nya dineclare yung cvg, sabi nya first job. lam mo ba swerte, kasi di naman nya pinasa yung SSS, Pagibig, Intellicare forms....basta lahat nung nasa folder ng cvg na binibigay sa first day ng training. ayun tanggap na sya...

pero ang galing, may kaltas sweldo nya for SSS Pagibig Health kahit di naman sya rgistered...tska nakakuha sya ng intellicare na card even though di nya pinasa yung form.

Just wanna share my application experience today.. So i went to Ortigas Convergys today, did all the application process.. up to the interview phase? they said its two parts, and if you pass the first part, you'll get a letter saying you're good to go to the 2nd part..

Now the strange thing is.. i got a letter, saying that i didn't get the needed requirements, but theres a box there saying "areas of improvement" which is completely BLANK. So i asked the others, do you guys have something written on the "areas of improvement" box? all of them answered yes, all about grammars and pronunciations etc etc..

Hmm.. so im wondering what went wrong during my interview process..

I had the same problem. For almost 3 years of working, my TIN is not verified as a valid BIR-issued TIN, since I wasn't able to return the 102 something form na pina-submit sa BIR Pasig, but still, income tax was deducted from my salary, which went to a generic-company-given TIN. When I passed the verified TIN sa HR before April 15 this year (the end of BIR fiscal year yata IDK), nabigyan ako ng matinong W102 (or whatever they call it).

Ang mangyayari diyan, kapag pinasa mo na requirements mo, dun palang nila ire-remit ang mga deductions sa respective agencies. Mautak yata ang payroll. :naughty:

it's true, my sister is an executive in accenture. She said that ACCENTURE is just finishing some formal talks with AT&T. Before 2008 ends wala na daw AT&T sa CVG.

if you're going for a tech support acct, the starting basic is 14k for no cc exp, 16k for those with over 6months cc exp. plus allowance of 2500 (transpo + meal) + 20% nite diff.

for ccr, i believe the basic is 12k to 15k depending on the acct and on your cc experience.

im in a tech support acct and my basic is 16k.

i'm currently working for CVG and i could say super saya ko sa company na to. The training was very good and the people are really accomodating. People really help each other in terms of giving positive and constructive criticisms for you to get better. In the same way, you should be open to it.

I'm here at CVG tower 1. if you would like to apply, ang hit ditong account is Onstar. GPS. sales ka dapat. ang daming incentives. yun nga lang, the clients are really strict when it comes to fraudulent sales. any moment pwede ka sibakin. literally.

yes, tumamatawag talaga sila. I remember, i listed all my previous superiors don sa hospital where i had my OJT. regarding the memo thing, it won't matter naman as long as hindi sasabihin ng tatawagan. but if you're in good terms with the character references you listed on your resume, that shouldn't be a problem. what matters is hindi ka nagAWOL sa previous company na pinagtrabahuhan mo.

it really depends on the account. when i applied i only had nbi/sss/tin. when i got transferred to a particular account, they asked for police clearance. the account i am with now did not ask
for one though.

20k laki naman tama wag mo na lang ilagay sa resume mo nag awol ka sa convergys o kaya banggitin mo sa interview sigurado di ka tatanggapin sa sususnod na lilipatan na call center. Tsaka pag usapan labor di sinasampa sa korte kasi ma dismiss yun. idudulog dapat sa NLRC national labor relations commissions. di na nila pwede bawiin yung sahod that you have rendered service kasama na training.

I'm a licensed nurse and it's really hard to get a job in a hospital. Anyway I tried applying at Etelecare, I passed all their exams and only 7 of us made it to the final interview. I wasn't really prepared and I didn't even do a research about the company. I was too honest and gave all the wrong answers to the interviewers questions...hehe... I've learned and my lesson and applied at convergys, and by God's grace I made it! Our training will start on Nov 12.

For the dsl tech account at cvg, can a "tech-illiterate" person like me have a chance to get accepted for a tsr position there? how stressful/toxic is the dsl tech account; like how many calls a day, etc.? are tech callers more irate than csr callers or mas bearable naman di hamak ang mga nakakausap sa tech accounts? sorry, dami kong tanong. sana may mag reply. thanks!

^ as long as mapasa mo ang screening process, kahit newbie ka pa ok lang. Tungkol sa kung san mas maraming irate, sabi ng kasamahan ko who is from a technical support account e ngayon customer service kami, mas madami dito at talagang bs na mga tao ang makakausap mo (sorry for that) at the possibility of having escalated calls in a day is 9/10! Nakakasuko ang account namin kasi di lang basta basta customer service kami, tier 2 account din kami kaya hagard kung hagard. And with tier 2 that means same level with technical accounts.

went to cvg1 last tuesday for my exit interview. the exit interview was scheduled at 11:30am. arrived there at exactly 11am (ayoko kasing nale-late). tapos ayun, pumunta ko sa 8th floor sa me HR. well, to cut the long story short, i waited for like 3 hours. yes, THREE loooooong hours for that interview. reason why?

sige. kwento ko na nga. long story kasi. medyo tinatamad ako magtype. pero dahil na-refresh sa memory ko yung inis, sige. go na.

so there. pagpasok ko sa me reception, i told the receptionist and the guards na i was scheduled nga for an exit interview. they asked me if sino daw yung interviewer. i told the name of the interviewer. tapos sabi nung receptionist, "ha? wala po si <insert interviewer's name> dito ngayon. tsaka ang alam ko po hindi po sya nag-eexit interview. ang alam ko po, si <interviewer's name> ay sa ER". so parang ako, medyo nagulat. kasi yung interviewer ko eyung interviewer din nung wavemate ko na mas naunang nakapag-pasked.

enwei, sabi ko na lang, after ipapirma yung sa clearance form, a girl from HR told me to call this certain "reyn" and sabihin na magpapa-sched ako for exit interview. so i did. i called and 'reyn' gave me a sched for the interview. 11:30am, nov 27, look for <interviewer's name>. so there. tapos tong receptionist e sasabihin na si <interviewer's name> e hindi nagcoconduct ng exit interviews? hay naku. pero sige. ok lang. inisip ko na lang na baka umalis lang si interviewer at babalik din. o kaya naman, ok lang din kahit iba na lang yng maginterview. so ayun. i waited there.

fifteen minutes had gone by, me dumating na isang girl. she told the receptionist na she is also scheduled for an exit interview. 11:00am sched nya and her interviewer is also the same as mine. si receptionist na girl, confused dahil una, wala daw si <interviewer's name> and isa pa, hindi daw siya nagcoconduct ng exit interview. *hay*

so ang ginawa ni receptionist, tumawag siya sa isa pang HR na nagcoconduct ng exit interview. sabi, dahil wala nga si <interviewer's name>, siya na lang daw mag-accommodate. ok lang. keri lang. i just wanted that thing to be over.

so ang nangyari, yung tinawagang HR ni receptionist, pinili si girl na nakasked ng 11 kesa saken na nauna pero naka-sked ng 11:30. i had an appointment pa naman at 2pm sa shaw. pero naisip ko, sige lang, ok lang. it may just take like 15-20 mins lang naman. so ayun.

dumaan na ang 12:15. wala. nagbasa na lang ako ng dyaryo. 12:30 wala pa din. 12:45, tumawag ke receptionist na girl yung sa HR na nag-iinterview. mag-llunch daw. parang ako, OMYGASH. pero sige, keri na lang, im also human na nagugutom din. pati sabi ni receptionist, 30 mins lang daw yun. sige. ayun. hanggang sa lumindol na at nag-panic ang lahat. wala pa din.

1:15. wala pa din. tinitigan ko na lang yung flower vase sa me gilid.

1:30. nagbasa na lang ako ulit ng dyaryo. bagyong lando bumalik at nag-fujiwara effect with mina. one more chance, lagpas P100M na ang kinita. asi taulava, ni-trade ng TNT to coke for ali peek. wala pa din.

1:45. nagttext na lang ako. kumusta naman. ANONG PETSA NA?

(now i feel for those customers. kelangan pala talaga ng mga empathy statements para kahit papano, mabawasan yung inis nila. tsk.) i was mentioning to her na me appointment ako ng 2pm at parang sya, kebs lang. hay. so there. it was mga 2:05 when a person approached me and asked if im the one scheduled for an exit interview. so yun na.

sino ba naman hindi mababadtrip. 11:30 ang schedule. 2:05 na ko nainterview. and i have an appointment at 2pm. sa shaw. at cmon, the entire exit interview ran for like 5 minutes only! hay.

if hindi nakapasok si <interviewer's name>, they should have notified me earlier to move the interview sched some other dates. kinuha naman kasi nung 'reyn' yung number ko. or if not, sana, me naka-ready ng ibang taga-HR. tutal naman, it was already scheduled.

hay. nakaka-badtrip lang talaga.

anyway, there is like an exit interview form that you have to fill out. i really indicated there na there's something wrong with the coordination in HR. sinabi ko na they should not make it too hard for people to resign. (lots of super-nakakabadtrip-ever things happened during the resignation stage. hindi lang itong exit interview na to).

siguro isolated case lang yung nangyari sa kin. (sana nga). nonetheless, this whole d*mn thing still happened. sana hindi na lang mangyari sa iba.

you dont have to worry.. pst is great.. its a lot of fun and you'll definitely learn stuff that you can use in dealing with your own pc..

im in commonwealth by the way.. we wuv our trainers.. we had trainers from pbcomm too when we were in pst.. they are really informative-you're in good hands.. dont worry..

they are not strict when it comes to pronunciation, i guess. what they are strict is all about CCT (knowledge check.) and i dont know about PST kasi di na ako umabot dun. kaya lang i was just thinking bakit ganon, i was able to deliver my speech well during the training and yet i failed in CCT. what is important is that, perhaps how you can relay or negotiate to your client so that you can collect what is due to them. by the way, Encore account ako last november. almost half of the training class failed.

our account has a voice prompt test that is the basis as to whether or not you'll pass the account or not. its pretty nerve wracking cuz the voice recordings will be sent to the us and the client will listen to them and they will have the final say as to who stays and who is to be taken to another account.

computer based exam.. yup.. ganun pa din.. sa interview.. all you have to do is show that you're willing to work for the better i think.. me mga nakakapasa naman na hindi ganun ka-fluent.. kaya nga may cct eh.. di ba?

Newbie here...I used to work in Sykes as a CSR for a year and a month...now im with Teleperformance as a TSR for project Time Warner. The account will be transfered to TP Sucat site this coming February and I live in Sta. Mesa, so that'll be too far from where I live, so I decided to send an online application to Convergys. And have received thier call yesterday and the lady who conducted the phone interview asked me to complete the application process by going to their site in Makati. I heard they also have Time Warner in Convergys.
Does anyone here have an idea about how much they offer for that account? Does anyone here work in CVG and is assigned to time Warner? What wave are they training rightnow? Thanks!

time warner.. the cvg site which is being built in philcoa right now will house the new time warner account-its a tech account so expect a minimum salary of 16k for your first few months.. its a broadband dsl account too as far as i know..

Helloes. ;) About your question, we only have 2 accounts (Sprint and DTV) in CVG alabang and both are customer service. Peeps here are ok, salary is good... but with my account it's really challenging, it's like every day you would want to quit! he he he. Well if you did pass your interview (hopefully) then prepare yourself for a bigger challenge come the day that you'll be on production floor!...err actually as early as your first call in training. ;)

All in all it depends on you, but if I knew how it was here back then I'd surely apply for a tech rep position in another call center na kasi hindi talaga ako customer service oriented na tao at mas gusto kong nagttrouble shoot ng devices...he he he.:)

I applied at Convergys probably 3 weeks ago through a job fair at my school. I already had the initial interview as well. Since then, I start reading/hanging around for quite times with this CVG thread. And then I heard here that there's a 4 mos bond policy in the company, my mind contemplates, I was thinking If I will still consider the job if happens that the company would call me up. I'm a student and I don't think that I can work while I am studying, and vice-versa. What I only want is to work this coming summer season (for 2mos) which is the only time that I don't have a class. Apparently I just received a phone call from the company itself minutes ago, from there on, I made up my mind and refused the job offering at all without having a doubt. Their bond is badly too long. Hindi talaga pwede. Sayang.

I do believe that we have recruitment plans for Region 6, although I am not aware on any of those at the moment.

The interview process is pretty straightforward as I have observed a few Agent interviews before and provided my own assessments to the recruitment specialist. What will be focused on are grammar, intonation, cohesiveness of thought and confidence. Basically, practice on extemporaneous speaking would be a great help.

Also, when asked a question, take your time to answer. Think about the question, gather your thoughts and then deliver your response. You're already being interviewed, you got through the door, you don't need to hurry out, right? Take your time and dont rush it. It's when you're pressuring yourself and rushing that can make a crucial mistake.

Another thing, avoid using "ummm", "like" and words repeatedly. Try using synonyms that will show the breadth of your vocabulary.

Applying online can be done by submitting an application via JobStreet or directly to Convergys' email.

As for Bacolod recruitment, our temporary Recruitment center is located in Circle Inn, Lopez Jaena – Malaspina Streets, Capitol Shopping Center, Bacolod City.

Personally, I'd just proceed to the temporary Recruitment center and submit a resume. Processing can be done in a day which includes testing and interviews.
