kaso nakuha ko na yung pay eh:(
it's okei, yun adjustment na lang naman ng pay ang idadagdag sa susunod na cut
totoo ba na ang AT&T Bellsouth account sa CVG PBCom, pinull-out na?
they pulled out because of the repratriation law. US companies are encouraged not to outsource or lessen outsourcing (i was actually trying to google any related news to this but i cant seem to find one). i believe it's still in the discretion of the company whether they want to outsource or not.
especially now that the US economy is in recession of course you need to help first your own economy rather than another country's. so as much as they want to stay with cvg, it's for the best interest of the company to pull out.

Hi i'm currently trying to look for a job in a call center in alabang..anyone care to give some insights about cvg? uhm..based po sa experience nyo after nyo makapasa sa recruitment process how long did u wait after u got a contract signing sa cvg? at toxic po ba ang work sa acct nila?like sobrang daming calls ba?at musta naman yung pay sa cvg?ok naman ba?at magkano po?thanx po sa mga reply in advance :)

guys help. someone called yesterday and told me that i can apply tomorrow... thats today... they got my resume from jobstreet select because they found out that JB select endorsed me to IBM and Etelecare. they told me that i should go to 24th flr and look for certain irene polo... i forgot the last name. my 1st question is, are they accepting applicants during saturday? and my 2nd is, their recruitment office is in 29th flr and not in 24th right? can you give me some info about this. thanks.

as to how long yun waiting time before you sign a contract, it depends kung sobrang ramp up yun acct then same day possible. kung indi naman depende kung kelan magstart yun next training class for that acct
toxic ang work? for any industry lahat ng trabaho toxic. subjective yan, it depends how a person handle's work pressure for him to say toxic yun work nya
pay? for me it's really good. but of course it depends on how much you need so that you can get by and you can save some.
kung magkano, again it depends kasi kung may experience ka or wala at kung anung acct ang mapupuntahan mo. but it starts at 14k

I will share you something. TCCR ako for BellSouth and I started my PST last June. I'm actually done with all the transition but right after we graduated from it, the SOM informed us that we won't be getting calls from BellSouth since that account is brimmed with agents already. So, they put us to a newer account, SBC, and we're one of the pioneer waves of that account. We'll start again training tomorrow and hopefully, production floor na kami for real on August 6. CVG doesn't leave their agents hanging if your account has been pulled out. They will take care of you unlike other companies who don't care if you get jobless. Hehehe, 2 months na puro petiks mode kami, hihihi! :rotflmao: Where's my site, you may ask? Secret. :naughty:

After four months of stay mo pa lang magagamit Intellicare mo for basic check ups and after 6 months or regularization mo pa lang magagamit yung full benefits niya. Tapos hindi kami nakapagpasa ng form for our dependents, so sabi January next year na raw namin pwede mai-apply dependents namin. Ampanget! :angry:

^ new account siya sa cvg site sa min. I know other sites have SBC already pero sa site namin, ngayon pa lang siya mag-oopen. I'm not sure if it's the U-verse but they said it's SBC-Popcorn or something. :bop:

If by any chance you need to be hospitalized due to an emergency, even without the card you can be accomodated, all you need is your employee number.....and regarding the enrollment of your dependents it is clearly stated that you need to submit their documents and enroll them within 15 days, if you dont make it you have to wait for the 1st plan to expire and that would be January, Its your responsibility to enroll your dependents and aside from that being on the enrollment forms given to you it is discussed in detail during your NHO, I think 15 days is more than enough time to submit a birth certificate....

i just wanna ask..kasi last summer like 2 months ago i applied at cvg commonwealth and i was accepted for the part time tsr position. i was already given the new hire guide and all but unfortunately i decided not to push through because of the conflict in school. now that we will be having our new term and i can fix my sked im from la salle by the way...is it possible to push through with the application without going through the whole process of initial interviews and the exams? anyway i already took and passed it.hehe!or should i undergo the whole process again?please answer my question..thanks!

I applied and was immediately hired for its DTV acct. I must admit I was referred by an acquiantance who holds a position then. Just like the rest of my wave mate, I went through the training and all.

Well, I am sorry to disappoint them because I ended up being a Training Intern in an elite Outsource Company. And mind you, this is a technical account we are handling here and just a memorization of all the stagnant cable channels in the US.

uhhmmm.. i think it wouldn't hurt if you bring your resume again once you decide to drop by the office.. if you passed once-then it shouldnt be a problem if you have to apply again-right? anyway.. im not sure.. but at least make it known to the person whom you will be talking to-the interviewer that you passed before but just didnt push thru with it.. they should have it in their records..
you shouldnt have worried about schedules--if you are studying, cvg will give you the freedom to choose a work sched that will coincide with your schedule at school--part time scheds are only 4 hours long with 15 min. break.. so no need to worry*okay*

Start na ng cct this monday but first gotta attend to this thing on friday from 8pm-10pm. Yey! I'm thinking it's gonna be both of a happy and tough kind of grind but regardless, I'm just happy to be getting to finally start. I'm hoping to pass it all and last. :D

Sad, noh? It's turning out to be a real jungle. As i survival of the fittest.
I mean, 5 years na ako sa CVG, and it's not the same as it was before. I'm all for stepping up to adjust to changing times and industry demands, pero wag naman to the point na siraan, pulitika, and all that ****.
CVG has forgotten to go back to the basics. It all started with 7 values. Where are they now?
I seriously hope na palitan na yun leadership, and I'm not talking about the people who were here 5 years ago. *peace*

ive heard all that CVG politics issue before i actually transferred, most of my friends in PS were actually discouraging me to transfer. but for me not all tomatoes in the basket are rotten, meron at meron dyang maayos.
lucky me, i was placed in an account na bago, so the camaraderie is good and getting better. yun mga TL sa amin eh galing din sa mga account na malakas ang politics kaya umalis sila because they didnt like it either.
hopefully nothing will change sa account namin and for every company may politics naman talaga, it's how we or the management curb the people in being too "political"

i beg to differ...there could be some cases where this applies...and i guess sa lahat naman ng kumpanya not only in call centers for that matter, meron talagang aangat kahit na may mas deserving...it's really being at the right place..at the right time....with the right connections (minsan) hehe...
but it would really be tough to generalize and brand this company as such..na if you don't know how to kiss *** eh ala ka ng pupuntahan...well i'm just basing it on personal experience and from close friends...
i'm proud to say na i've been promoted thrice since i joined cvg but there was never a time that i kissed anyone's ***. and a lot of my former teammates also got promoted without the benefit of the iron hand of anyone....
but of course i'm not denying the fact that the assertion of reds14 really happens...as i said it happens everywhere....the only difference is the level or extent of the influence of politics over promotions and movements...

politics... lahat meron nyan, it's up to the people kung itotolerate yan. you can consult your TL, STL, OM, SOM, or you may even go directly to ER. and we create our own culture.
yes you have to attend RJP. para maka-listen kayo ng calls. cool yun. though some agents are mayayabang. soon kayo naman magyayabang. haha. biro lang.
just do good on your training. practice makes perfect! ;)

just started CCT last monday. La me masabi, hands down. 1st hand experience na ****. Magandang company ang CVG (for the training at least).
Just a question though. I work part time. SO, if i pass the training and decide to work as a full time agent, di ba uubra pag student pa? kc college student pa lang me. Will the transition from part time to full time be difficult and what are the requirements? And will I undergo training again? Cuz i feel na walang maxadong room to grow as an employee pag part time lang (most of the promotions require you to be full time). Can anyone shed light on this?

hahah i was a victim of this so-called politics sa cvg. after serving ng ilang taon as a csr, nagkaroon ako ng chance na ma-promote thru mdp (i dunno kung meron pa rin nito *****). i must say na qualified ako sa lahat ng requirements nun (quality, csat, attendance, leadership skills etc) except dun sa questionnaire na sinasagot ng tl (i forgot what its called - parang series of questions sya na assessment ng tl ko sa kin), dun ako bumagsak (ooops), so dahil sa bitterness nagresign ako lumipat ng iba't ibang call center (subjective kasi masyado yung reason kung bakit hindi man lang ako mabigyan ng chance sa interview, tanggap ko sana kung mababa stas ko). after siguro mga apat na call center na nilipatan ko (and 2 promotions after) i decided na mahal ko pa rin cvg at decided na bumalik (and swallow my pride, kahit na alam kong babalik ako as a csr). it just so happened na kailangan daw ng hr ng endorsement from my previous tl para ako makabalik, dun ko nalaman na di pala resigned ang status ko sa cvg, kundi terminated (di ko rin lam kung baket, nakuha ko naman ng buong buo yung separation ko, around 30T if i remember it right). so balik ako sa dati kong tl para humingi ng endorsement nga, pero di nya yun binigay (diba!?). if this is not politics, then what? personalan ito? hahaha p.s. ofw ako ***** and earning well, so im taking this experience as a blessing in disguise. otherwise, tied ako sa service contract kung natuloy ako sa mdp. but i still consider myself a proud ex-con. da best pa rin cvg for me ;)

i'm working in convergys right now... but the basic salary is not that competitive. it's my eighth month already yet there is no increase in my basic pay, probee pay pa rin. :(

just started CCT last monday. La me masabi, hands down. 1st hand experience na ****. Magandang company ang CVG (for the training at least).
Just a question though. I work part time. SO, if i pass the training and decide to work as a full time agent, di ba uubra pag student pa? kc college student pa lang me. Will the transition from part time to full time be difficult and what are the requirements? And will I undergo training again? Cuz i feel na walang maxadong room to grow as an employee pag part time lang (most of the promotions require you to be full time). Can anyone shed light on this?
as long as you've completed you minor subjects and done with 2nd yr college then you can apply already.

you can follow it up with HR para ma change yun status mo. ag mo hayaan na ganun. kung nagawa mo ng ifollow up sa TL mo eh di ikaw na dumiretso sa HR para mag asikaso.

Is there a cellphone number na pwede tawagan regarding schedule of training? I am officially hired today Jul 28 and still has no callback fr HR abt the schedule of training. Been trying since fri to call both #s in the "new hire guide" and nobody is answering. Is SONA in batasan today affecting the operations of HR there in cwealth? Or may pasok kaya sila? Pero fri pa ako tawag all day. Antay pa rin ako pero bka sabihin your training will start 1 or 2 hrs fr the call.

Btw, went there today kahit na marami barikada sa Cwealth. And found out na close nga ang HR(Tue to Sat operations nila this week) Sa lobby, asked me to wait for an hour for Ms Vivian's response on my query abt the training sked. Willing pa nga ako to go to insular asap kung may sked man today. Probably they cant decide yet abt it and sa lobby asked me for my contact number and instructed to wait for a callback tom. Let's see.

I'm new to this forum and a reply by reds 14 about heavy duty politicking in CVG caught my attention.
I have worked for CVG both as an agent and as an employee of a non agent post. I'd have to say I disagree with you for a number of reasons:
- I had a former teammate who applied for a non-agent promotion who was denied of it (though she has been with CVG for 3 years at that time). I asked the person who interviewed her what the reason was and the interviewer said, "she still GREATLY lacked the communication skills for the job"
- I have known several of people who started in the agent position who have worked their way up the ladder in a year's time.
- CVG has been very proactive in posting Internal Hiring Posts throughout the building, encouraging people to apply
- And...UNLESS you can provide a SPECIFIC "KISS A** INCIDENT" to me, I would not believe you. Information only becomes valid once its validated by a very SPECIFIC and TIME BOUND experience.
- And before I forget, maybe the people who are sour graping that they have not been promoted yet are the ones like my former wavemate. Those who have stayed with the company long and have not improved at all.
- Or worse...maybe they are those who have not stayed long enough and the ones who share in their other call center interviews that they wanted "greener pasture" but when their interviewer finds out how long they have stayed with that previous CC (which in this case can be CVG), its a friggin long stay of 6 months. talk about career growth!

i need opinions about my situation right now. i am actually done with all the interviews in cvg and they offered me a technical program, uverse specifically... and i accepted it. supposedly the starting date should be on aug 11... should be... but they informed me that there are "some improvements" that they are doing with the account and so the starting date will be moved, some time by september, and they are not even suer about resuming in on september... the alternative that they are offering me is to be with a financial program... where in i can already start on aug 18... same salary as with the previous offer but i don't know how it is with this program... i really love to be with tech, and i've heard rumors that its not good to be with financial stuff... it's fine for me to wait till september if they really still have the uverse account... i dont know why i get the feeling that they really want me in a financial program coz i even asked them if are there any open trainings for other accounts so long as it is still with tech and they can't give me a clear answer about it... any expert opinions on this matter? should i take it?

It really depends on your personality and skillset.....if you enjoy talking bout the computer and the internet then I suggest you wait for tech suppport.....If you have good people skills and your good in math go for the financial program.....waiting a few weeks is well worth getting the program you want....remember.....your gonna handle that program 8-9 hrs a day 5 days a week....if its not really your thing lifes not gonna be good....and regarding aksing for a new tech program....there are only 2 tech programs in makati....and training has been moved due to changes being done to improve the program since theres gonna a lot of new people joining them...your recruiter wants you on the financial program so you can start earlier....but if you dont mind waiting go for what you really want....good things come to those who wait:bashful:

I totally agree...since promotions are based on your scorecards and test results aside from the recommendations.... no one person can affect the status of your career growth....have you ever heard anyone say that "I wasnt promoted because I didnt have the skills needed"? of course not.....

una sa lahat, "as an employee of a non agent post."??? meaning team lead? manager? hr? you may divulge such info po, if you really deserve the position and worth the promotion, there's no sense in hiding behind false modesty. just my ten cents worth.
awright...moving on...its pretty clear (and i believe agree tayong lahat dito) that tenure is not an issue pagdating sa promotion. of course kelangan mo ng 6 mos muna bago makapag-apply sa mdp (di ko lam kung binago na to or what), but other than that, be it 6 mos or 5 years ang tinagal mo sa cvg, di dapat to maging factor sa promotion, so i dont see your point in emphasizing na >>(though she has been with CVG for 3 years at that time). moreover, W T F is "GREATLY lacked the communication skills for the job"?? if she's that bad, she shouldn't have passed cct in the first place. as you have pointed out, 3 years na sya sa cvg (i am assuming 3 years na din sya as an agent), and then nung nag-apply lang sya for promotion tsaka lang nila narealize na "she still GREATLY lacked the communication skills for the job"?? if "she still GREATLY lacked the communication skills for the job" as a team lead, then diba mas lalo na kung sa pagiging agent?? 3 years na sya neng, walang reklamo ang cvg sa kanyang comm skills nung sya ay naghandle ng calls sa 3 years na yun, tapos ngayon sasabihin na "she still GREATLY lacked the communication skills for the job"?? tsaka, W T F is GREATLY??? ano yun, pipi?

lastly, "its a friggin long stay of 6 months. talk about career growth!" again, basahin sa itaas. length of stay ay hindi factor, 6 months lang ang hinihingi nila na stay sa cvg (with the same acct ata, im not too sure now) para ka ma-promote, so bakit ba to ginagawang issue? the only way for this to be weighed in as a deciding factor ay kapag isa lang ang vacant na position, dalawa ang pinagpipilian, and equal sila sa lahat ng bagay, lahat ng stats, numbers at lahat ng kung anau-ano pang factors, except for this. syempre yung mas matagal sa service ang pipiliin ng company. pero dude naman, malabo mangyari to na equal sa lahat ng bagay ang dalawang applicants.

isa ka pa. promotions are based on scorecards and test results AND recommendations, hindi aside from. this means na kahit perfect ang scorecards at test results mo kung di ka i-recommend ng sup mo, go figure. good luck ***. so anong sinasabi mong "no one person can affect the status of your career growth"?

hey, i truly appreciate the feedback. it helps one grow. seriously
first, its not false modesty not to say what my position is here. i have read many posts in here who share and divulge a lot of info but do not say who they are. and i believe most of us who are in this forum are former and/or current cvg employees. well, since i still refused to share who i am (surely you will react to this that i am under the pretense of false modesty again) so i shall say i am the someone who was specifically mentioned in one of the posts here
to share a classic example, i can say that my former boss and i had consistent riffs. in fact, after my boss parted we were not able to patch things up...but my boss still pushed me for promotions in between those riffs. now talk about politicking! i have not heard of any supervisor who disliked somethings about his subordinate that still motivated the subordinate for promotion.
i have a friend who was part of the wave 1 of one of the earliest accounts of cvg (haha guess which of the two earliest accounts!) who was denied of every promotion she applied for. still she persevered and eventually got the TLI post only to be denied AGAIN after that...where is she now? she is actually a Band higher than mine. cool.
and yeah, i have y-jacked with many agents who have stayed with the company for the past few years who still had great comm skill gaps. so you blame cct for that? have you ever made a module my friend? here's the thing, if an agent passes cct, that means the person is highly trainable despite FLIs (first language influences). CCT is only 12 days, we cant really expect miracles, but if the person STAYS that way despite 8 hrs a day and 5 days a week speaking with Americans for the past 2 yrs, now that is a totally different thing.
if you were an ex employee here, and you know a lot of things about the company, i guess it would be safe to say that you have stayed long enough to know and stay those things and maybe ergo your salary was even higher than mine. but i dont go around bad mouthing cvg (so young, so angry, damn that rap music >> dr dolittle) ah and by the way, the supervisor riffs i previously mentioned, happened to me TWICE...
maybe yeah, my ten cents worth is just ten cents, but guess who was just stuck at the agent post. i dont think its me.

yang pity mo, sana makatulong. hahaha. of course i was outraged and very much frustrated then. di naman kasi sinabi na labanan pala kung sino pinakaunang makakuha ng kape para sa bos, or kung sino ang pinakamadalas na manlilibre sa gimikan at inuman, you get the drift. kala ko sapat na stats, attendance, nice working relationship w/ teammates, leadership skills, etc. di pala. di yun sinabi sa orientation.

Ok....so what your trying to say is ..... you were really the best person for the position you were striving for and due to politics the post went to someone else....are you really in the postion to decide or declare yourself the best person for that post? whats your basis that the decision was actually due to politics.....if that were the case....what your trying to say is that all officers or support employees just kissed *** to get where they are..... and they can promote anyne they want to anytime? thats not how it goes.... when applying for an officer post you have to take the TL assessment exam...how did you fair there? you also have to go through the TLI program, thats 30+ days of training and assessments where in your scores speak for you.....every decision is based on numbers .....numbers that you produce....you may have been a good agent but not all soldiers were meant to be generals.....I'm not saying that there is 0% politics.....people are people whatever happens they will have prefferences....but you cant always blame politics when you dont get what you want.....*okay*

well said sibilly316i..people dont get to where they are with politics...and if were NOT the case, it still is unfounded to generalize that the entire company (when in fact one is just talking about one unit - w/c is JUST operations) specializes in it (one can only suppose that when that someone said that "matindi ang politika sa convergys" the politics must really be in every lurking corner for it to deserve such a strong adjective).
and yeah...there are standards...numerical and standardized at that...
...so maybe the problem is, the person didnt meet the standards...
...yeah i have heard...convergys does have HIGH STANDARDS

haaay.. aminin mo, its sooo pinoy to blame your misfortune on someone else. when would we grow up? the corporate world sucks, politics happens..YES.. but no matter how sipsip a person is to his/her immediate sup, promotions undergo a long process. Feedback from peers and other supervisors (kahit not your immediate boss) is needed. Promotions are approved/processed not only by your TL/sup alone. Galing nmn ng team mate mo, nakuha niyang sumipsip sa lahat ng tao sa company at siya ang na-promote?
Stop whining about how people around you is unfair, who says life is fair?? You didn't get what you want..ok..so what did you do? you left the company? sayang you did'nt give them the chance to prove na you're worth it.

hindi pa man din ako nagsisimula sa cvg dami ko na nababasa na negative about the company... napapaisip tuloy ako... tapos nagkaproblema pa yung schedule ng training ko... i don't know if the initial account offered to me is still active or what...
y don't you call them and ask your recruiter if it'll push through..
and don't listen to what these people say about the company.. you wouldn't know what the company can offer unless you're already there.. ;)

altec12, I am in recruitment and my practice is not to leave the people that we hire hanging. I am very transparent when it come to changes in their employment (start date,etc). Thank the person who called you, kasi he/she has the sense of urgency to inform you of what's happening in the account. Abt the financial program, baka concerned lang siya na you'd rather start sooner since no confirmation pa kung kelan matutuloy un training.
My advise is to be open to your recruiters, ask questions directly to him/her para you'll get clear answers. Everything you read here are based on assumptions, get the answers from people who are IN the company. They know best =)

it's true, never be afraid to ask. especially during that time that they are discussing what's instore for you at CVG. when i had my interview there i asked almost everything. the path/s that i can take, the options that i have, the benefits i can enjoy and how my salary can increase. they realy did answer all my questions which helped me a lot in my decision making. so when i signed the contract, i know that i made a wise decision. *okay*

Tsss. All these negative things these people write about Convergys. It doesn't make sense. Why do that at all?? For all I know, if and when one decides to leave Convergys, those people will be more thankful than they'll ever be for having Convergys in their cv's when they go lookin for another job. Am I right? It will still have a couple of shops in the first few floors and the rest will be Convergys'... at least that's what I heard. I think it will start its operations Q1 - Q2 next year!
Then Convergys is already in UP Science Park, another new site along Commonwealth.
Then there's Nuvali in Sta. Rosa to open in Q4 this year (m not sure).
And then we'll open our third facility in Cebu City.
That's 5 new sites in the next 6-8 months. Great diba!?:rotflmao:

i suggest you read the posts in here, kahit yun start lang ng year 2008. better yet, go ahead and apply, once you pass then you can bring this questionnaire to the interviewer and discuss this with them
i know you have doubts and all, but isipin mo muna ang pagpasa, chaka ka magisip kung magkano sasahurin mo at benefits na makukuha mo. kasi kung pumasa ka at nalaman mo na di pala ito ang company mo (before signing the contract) you can always decline the offer and look for another CC company. *okay*

guys heres the situation. If ever i pass pst, ill be working as a tier 1 agent(part time). The thing is, i want to become full time. Why? because as far as i know, walang maxadong career growth *** part time. kc di pede ma promote pag di full time. Im still a student, and ang takot ko lang, by the time na gumraduate ako, bka tamarin na ko kc walang career movement. And also, mejo burned out ako sa studies so im planning to go full blast sa work and part time sa studies. So here's the question.
If i go full time, can i be promoted to higher positions (like tL and etc) kahit na di pa ko graduate? o kelangan may bachelors degree?
And ganu po katagal bago maging full time ang isang part time agent?..
Kung sino may mkaka tulong sa kin, salamat in advance.

Hi ronaldong,
Convergys regularizes part time employees. They call it part time kasi you're only required to work 4-6 hrs/day. Pero probationary employee ka pa din. after 6 months, your performance will be evaluated for regularization. Kahit part time employee ka, pwedeng pwede ka ma-promote and ma-regularize! You can also ask for a lateral transfer. Meaning, palipat ka ng full time account.

And.. to those complaining about not being promoted in Convergys, take a good look at how you performed. Be aware of how the people around you perform as well. Numbers don't lie. Also, your professionalism, punctuality and motivation are important factors din para ma-promote ka.
Promotion in convergys is not based on tenure or palakasan. Kung paborito ka ng TL mo and ma-nominate ka man for promotion, hindi pa rin maa-aprrove ang promotion kung walang maipakitang good stats and boss mo. All business decisions should have basis. Your TL's are not the only ones who process your promotion. Dumadaan sa screening process and matinding evaluation yan. Resigning or having grudges after not being promoted on your first try is soo pre-school. Diba it would feel better if you stay in the company and eventually ma-realize nila na you're worth the promotion? Success is not a one-time-hit thing, bitter sweet yan.. pinag-hihirapan. Like I always say: Where others see limitations, find opportunities. Where others give up, fight harder!

As far as I know, you have to be an agent for at least 6-8 months first before you can apply in an e-mail/chat support....
And Ms. Jihan said to us, you can apply to a non-agent position after your 11 month in the company....
Actually, I wanna work in HR or Finance Department.... So hopefully someday if time will allow, I will be placed there... I just have to face the crucial stage which is the first 6 months.....
11 months and not 6-8 months for lateral transfers. For promotions, at least 5 months yata...

hey, I got hired for a part time position as a TSR at Convergys Commonwealth, I was asked to get all the requirements (SSS, TIN, etc), but when I came back to submit those, I was told that the part time position was put on hold by the client, and that they would give me a callback once the part time position has been reactivated. I was wondering if theres anyone here from Convergys QC who could give me any feedback on the matter.
If not, does Convergys Ortigas have any vacancies for the part time position? Would appreciate any response. Thank You

Hi ask ko lang po kung mahigpit ba ang CVG pagdating sa Background check especially sa dating employer??? meron po kasi akong bad record sa Peoplesupport.. balak ko kasi mag-aply sa CVG for tech support tier 2, pwede ko ba ilagay Company History ko??? Intensive ba background checking nila??? huhuhu pls. help....

we do have a tech support account, for fresh grads it's 14k, benefits, i'll just give you a sample kasi di ko maenumerate lahat, we have premium pay then of course acct incentives/bonuses etc etc. it's good you took up MIS but the position does not really require an IT background, as long as you pass the tech exam then you're already qualified to the next step of your application for a tech support position.
ano b mas maganda convergys or etelecare, particularly *** nasa alabang..
basic pay? benefits? etc.???

again, just kindly read the etel thread and this thread. kasi we wont be able to give you a background for the other CC dahil taga CVG kami at nde taga etel. syempre most likely sasabihin dito mas maganda CVG di ba.
maganda is a subjective term kung anu ang maganda sa akin maaaring nde maganda sayo at sa ibang tao. i've applied to both companies and i have passed all their application processes, so for me pinili ko CVG kasi mas maganda ito para sa akin.

for me it's a yes kasi i came from 2 companies prior to joining CVG, i was in a bank year 2003-2007, then im also from people support may2007-jan2008 and CVG called them both. my boss from chinabank even told me the questions that they asked kaya i know they're kinda thorough with background checking, especially kapag sa financial account ka ilalagay.

yes we are strict with background investigations. they key is to be honest with everything. coz if for example, you chose not to disclose it then we find it out through your background investigation we will pull you out and terminate you. it has happened CONSTANTLY in the financial account that we have.
however if you are honest and you disclose everything, your recruiter can defend you...
but of course you have to assure them that you wont do it again

as for compen and ben, convergys is not the highest paying but we have benefits that are rock solid. and our other benefits are not being offered in other CCs
as for culture, CVG is very statistics/perfomance driven. very professional but still has the essence of family. we know how to have fun and the company has so far provided us with the coolest activities
im tired. really too many questions :P

Para sa kin the best ang CCT.. Its the time to make all the mistakes that you can possibly can.. Its the time na wala ka maxadong inisip at puro games lang at bonding.. Relaxed lang *** environment.. =).. Di ** boring and madali lang.. saya sobra..

2 interviews, initial and final, tests, um written and computer based. mahaba lang pero madali lang kayang kaya mo yun, wala naman mawawala pag tinry ko =).. half a day lang tapos na lahat puera final interview. actually para sa kin ang pinaka nkaka irita na part e *** pag submit ng requirements..

sss = hassle
tin = ang layo..
ah onga pala..

Well... it's been quite awhile since i posted here in CONVERGYS thread...
Dati, i'm still on my CCT, but right now, i'm almost halfway through my transition period (for 1 month).
Since I have no cc experience making this as my FIRST JOB EVER, it was really a nerve-wracking experience. I remember my first live call, I was really stuttering and really don't know what to do but sabi nga nila pasanayan lang naman yan... Actually, i'm really enjoying where I am right now....
Medyo ayaw ko lang yung shift ko kc 4am-1pm in which I have to sleep in the sleeping quarters here in CVG CMW bec. walang masakyan samin pag midnight....
Well... I remember my stupidity at times in some of my calls, but it's really a LEARNING LESSON.... It's a process and I know in just 2 months time, I'll be much more confident and fully-adjusted on my own league.
Also, As far as I know, for you to apply to a NON-VOICE ACCOUNT, you have to be an agent for at least 11 months before you can apply. I'm also planning to apply on an e-mail account rin kc eh. Alam ko may opening now sa Makati site for Walmart (e-mail support)..

hmm.. ako full time, sige share ko sayo take home pay ko. syempre nde naman exact to the last cent.. ang take home pay ko nde bumaba ng 9k.. basta dyan naglalaro kaltas na dyan lahat ng dapat
but honestly dapat sa recruiter mo ikaw nagtatanong kasi syempre iba iba ang take home pay ng mga full time dito. kasi kanya kanyang kaltas ng tax yan at ng sss, philhealth at pag ibig. depende rin kasi kung same ba kayo ng starting salary di ba? chaka ang take home pay nag iiba depende sa shift mo dahil maglalaro ang night diff mo.
ako, never ako nagkaron ng parehas na take home pay, kasi depende kung may holiday pay, or biglang nag iba shift ko at pag nag aadik ako sa OT, open OT pa naman kadalasan sa amin

(butting in)in my opinion, ok na yang 9k/ cutoff take home pay ni ako si. there may be higher figures that you might be aware of but then again, yung mga nakakatanggap nun ay yung mga talagang established na. you know what i mean? tipong 3-6 years ng asa industriya. if it in case may kilala ka na who earns more or better yet a whole lot more, good for them. kung merong ka ding kilala na sandali pa lang tas mataas na nakukuha, better. pero generally speaking, yung take home pay ni ako si ay hindi maliit. diba you're just part time for now? i like your intention of going full time. i hope it's not entirely for the money kaya mo ginagawa yan and yes, i hope dito ka sa cvg mag aim. kase for me, i take pride in my being a part of the cvg family. it's a fact na meron nga sigurong mas matataas pero personally, THIS IS CVG and for me it's the best.

Well, to be honest, di naman **** *** salary perse *** nanghihinayang ako, pero *** difference between a part time employee's salary and benefits as compared to a full time. plus the fact na walang promotion for part time. Actually i want a career here, thats why i wanna be a full time. di kc pede ma promote pag part time so parang dead end job. Gusto ko mag grow ako. Un nga lang di ko kc alam kung pede ba ma promote kung di pa graduate. Mejo tinatamad kc me mag aral *****, well to be honest, procrastinate ako hehe. So gusto ko sana by october full time na ko para mag part time na lang ako sa school.. kahit mas matagal graduate ok lang sa kin, anyways i have work na and i have a kid too. Oo naman CVG na, i like it here from the first day dahil ok *** site and office, un nga lang malau sa min(tapat ako la salle nka tira), and sobrang natuwa ako sa CCT.. hehe.. no need to transfer to another company, kaya gusto ko **** malaman career path dito sa convergys.

It all depends on you bro. You don't have to make pasipsip, pa-bibo or to kiss @ss para lang ma-promote. There are Tls who would encourage you to apply for MDP na para ma-promote na. Sila mismo papansin sa iyo and would be more willing to give coaching sessions para lang sa iyo. I, for example, have been encouraged ng mga TL na kilala ko kasi i had good scorecards for 7 months. Kung alam nila na may potetial ka kasi nakikita sa trabaho mo, sila mismo magsasabi sa iyo na mag-aply ka na. Ganun lang yun. Yun nga lang, di na ako pwede mag-aply kasi sablay ako sa quality ko this month. Sabit! :mecry: Need to clear it again for 3 months. hehehe.

i had a call just now from convergys, screening agad...Yun nga lang, andito ako sa davao, he (from CVG) asked me to give him a call pgpunta ko ng manila. Anu kaya susunod na mangyayari....?

Just so you know what to expect....give him a call para you dont wait that long....priority kasi mga nakaschedule na candidates....you first have your initial interview where they mainly check your commskills and comprehension, once you pass that you take a series of exams computer based and pen and paper, after that part its your final interview, mostly experience based questions.....then you just need to submit your requirements and your set!!! goodluck ;)

Ate CSR ka po ba or TSR?.. hmm parang naliliitan me sa 9k.. wahhh.. ako lang ba to or tlgang mababa?..
TSR po ako.. i applied CVG with 7mos of experience from people support, CSR ako dun.

may tinatawag silang career pathing dito.. they created this para nde maging stagnant ang isang employee. hopefully, people here from HR can shed you some light on this.. kasi di ko kabisado. basta ang idea ko dyan is eto ang mga options mo bilang agent, you can be this or you can be that. tapos may mga timeframe yan, na at this particular point and you meet the requirements you may apply for this or that position yun ganun. para ikaw din visually makikita mo kung saan ang punta mo or ng career mo.

im not really familiar with all the names of our accounts here, lalo na at may mga bagong paok na accounts. ang pagiging best ng isang acct eh depende sa tao yan. but the #1 acct in cvg alam ko eh currently not hiring.

tama si headband girl. Pero kung magiging idle ng, let's say, 4 to 5 months, pwede ka mag-apply and umalis na. Meron kasi kaming training bond na 20K for 4 months.
Pero if u want to apply here in commonwealth, pwede kita i-refer! Ü

Just bring your updated resumes and if possible *** mga transcript of records, nbi clearance (updated), and SSS ID# (if available). I suggest that you walk in when applying para mas mabilis. another question lang.. hmm.. kasi nga d ba i have an interview nga dis morning pero d po ako nakapunta.. sobrang sakit po kasi ng ulo ko and kulang din po talaga sa budget. mababan po ba yung resume ko? kasi i'm planning to apply here in commonwealth this friday (maybe).
hmm... give me some tips naman rin..mag-aapply po kasi ako for the position of tsr. sa technical, marami naman din po ako alam pero sa english.. hmm... medyo lang.. sa tingin nyo may chance po *** ako makapasa? :D

nagsabi ka ba na you cant make it to the interview? kasi kung may active resume ka na, i dont think there's a need to pass another one dahil makikita naman sa database nila na may naipasa ka na befre
for a tsr position? pass all the exams.. 1st thing na dapat mo pasahan eh yun tech exam kasi yun ang magqualify sayo to pursue a tsr position *okay*

ah nde naman.. normal yan sa start up acct kasi konti kayo so people have to be spread to cover the time. sa amin, i guess it lasted for the 1st 3-4mos of the acct, ngayon siguro 5% na lang ang may split off or wala na nga ata eh.
dumaan ako dyan, every week iba ang off tapos minsan dikit minsan split. pati start time iba iba din. pero nde naman yun tipong tatambling ang oras na minsan umaga tapos gabi, di naman within the same band pa din so kunyari between 11-1am ang band mo so ang start time mo dun lang maglalaro
