hi guys! i just wanna share..

ako din eh.. nag-send ako ng resume last saturday dun sa 77global.biz.. tapos kahapon (Monday. june 23) may tumawag sa kin.. c ms.grace kaso *** ako sa bahay sa manila *** nagiwan nlng ng fone no.. tapos un tinawagan ko tapos ininterview me ni atoy..
i think yung firm na nagre-recruit for convergys is called cyber j resouces..

mabilis lang naman yung phone interview.. 3 questions lang.. y do u want 2 work in a call center, describe urself in 2 sentences, how flexible r u wen it comes to managing ur time.. madali ***..

tpos 2day.. may schedule na ko for initial screening sa orient square sa ortigas.. mejo kinakabahan nga ako eh kc bka mag-stutter ako mamya..

i just hope na makapasa ako.. fresh grad kc me from UP Manila.. gs2 kong i-try yung call center kc nacu-curious ako...
sa mga nagco-call center.. ok *** ba yung job? kc ako, ****** ko na as long maganda yung pay and benefits, dun na muna ako.. kahit pa sbhin nila na nakakabobo daw.

i cud make use of the money 2 improve myself in sum other way.. like gs2 kong mag-enroll sa chinese language classes, mag-travel, maglearn how 2 play a flute.. *** mga ganun..

anyway, gudluck sa ating lhat.. i suggest na isend nyo dun sa global.biz *** resume nyo for faster processing.. mbgal yata sa jobstreet eh...

I'm due for a call center simulation on thursday. Do you have any idea what this is about? I have some thoughts on it, but I'd like to know if anyone knows what's going to happen.:confused:

hi guys!

just got back from convergys...nagcall center simulation ako kahapon pero di pwedeng sabihin kasi confidential daw... medyo mahirap siya. 11 kaming sabay sabay nag exam tapos 3 lang kaming nagqualify for a final interview.. katatapos nga lang ng interview ko eh.. feeling ko di ako matatanggap kasi ... wala lang.. i'd rather not raise my hopes up.. pero gusto ko na rin sana dun kasi ba naman super nakakapagod magpabalik-balik..

tech positions? i think so.. meron. i think they're hiring all kinds of csas eh...

i sent my resume dun sa global biz... seven seven global resources ang nagpaprocess nung mga applications na sinasubmit dun sa email na yun..

saturday ko sinubmit, monday tinawagan na ako so mabilis lang...

Since it's a pretty new customer contact center, not everybody knows exactly who the clients of Convergys are (those who shall be serviced by the Philippine arm, that is). From what I know, since it has a number of sites around the world, the clientele is quite diverse as well as the services. I'm somewhat positive it has a tech support group as well.

The fact that it is the NUMBER ONE CALL CENTER WORLDWIDE, repeat, NUMBER ONE CALL CENTER WORLDWIDE, is what it makes it so interesting to work for. Just this month, it has been given this prestigious award. If you want to know more about it, why don't you check out its website? The Philippine call center isn't that integrated into the system yet, but I guess it will in just a matter of a few months or less.

My interview is next week since I just finished my simulation yesterday as well. 'Hope I get in since there's a very big chance for the pioneer team members to be promoted in just a short time. Let's just cross our fingers for all those who are at least in the second stage of the screening process. :D

I do hope I'd get a call from them. I already sent my resume a couple of weeks ago but I haven't heard from them at all. I hope by next week I'll get a call. I applied online (through jobstreet, to be more specific) and it says there that the status of my application is Under Consideration. According to jobstreet, that means I am included in their shortlist and that I should wait a call from them. Well, I do hope they'll give me a call. :)

nung nag-simulation ako... i think naka beige na 3/4 blouse ako tapos naka grey na skirt... talaga, sabay tayong nag-simulation? *** time ka ba nagtake nun?

kakatapos ko lang ng interview ko last thursday.. si ms. penny ang nag-interview sa kin. di ko nga lam kung ano na ang next step eh. feeling ko nga di ako napasa kasi ang sabi sa kin they will call me.. eh di ba pag ganun parang polite way of saying na you didn't pass...

pero nung nakausap ko yung friend ko na ininterview din, ang sabi sa kanya nung eric (na nag-interview sa kanya) na ano daw.. na lahat daw nung mga applicants na nakapasa sa call center simulation at nakaabot sa interview ay nasa pool of applicants being considered for the job... ksai daw naipasa na yung minimum requirements for csr...

kaso ang immediate opening daw nila ngayon eh yung sa tech support program kaya yung friend ko ii-schedule sa technical exam... nagtataka nga ako kc nung ininterview ako, tinanong lang ako ni ms. penny whether i've taken a technical exam. nung sinabi ko na hindi, wala naman syang reaksyon...

yung csr program mismo daw kasi eh sa ortigas mabe-base eh under construction pa daw yun... so inuuna nila ngayon yung mga gustong maging mga tech people.. sa ayala yung office nila kung sakali.. it will take a few weeks pa daw before matwagan yung mga gustong mag-csr talaga..

ewan ko ba... nakakalito nga eh...sana lang may news na from them...

by the way, *** na pala ** yung nagturn down ng offer ng convergys? ask ko lang kung gano ba kabilis ka nilang tawagan after the final interview.... please, pakisagot naman po... tnx!

bali wednesday pm ako nag-exam ng simulation... im not sure kng nakasama kita... basta 4 kaming pumasa... 2 boys and 2 girls...

anyway, i think sa august pa ang operation ng call center mismo... so kumbaga may 1 month pa sila para maghire at kumuha ng mga hr, technical, IT ppl...

sa robinson's equitable ortigas daw ang 2nd office ng convergys...

well, ang sabi pala ng babae na nag interview sakin is initial hiring nila, around 120 CSRs muna raw...

wala naman masyadong sinabi about the benefits and compensation...

more on tanong lang sakin about previous work experience that is in relation with customer service...

Guys, if anyone was able to ask about the compensation and benefits as well as when the call center will really start operating, please post it here. I don't think this is confidential information considering that some of you guys are being asked to bring along some friends to be hired.

'Need help kasi po these information that you will be able to supply is crucial especially for me to be able to make a major career move if ever Convergys will hire me.

That's where their headhunter holds office, ZMG Signium Ward Howell. That's where I was interviewed a month ago, for a recruitment position.

I only underwent one interview, by the Research Director. I just received a call from her and she asked me to email my CV. she called me the day after and then set me up for an interview at the Athenaeum. Then she offered the position on the spot. This is for the recruitment position and not for CSR, so hindi ko masasagot ang turn-around time sa inyo. I believe there are other headhunters that also handle recruitment for Convergys.

I sent them an email a week ago (through the address i got here). They called me yesterday and I'm going there tomorrow for my interview. I'm actually employed in another call center right now so I'm still thinking if I should show up.

I had my simulation exam 2 Fridays ago and my Interview Monday last week. My interviewer was Ms. Amy. She said she will submit her notes from the interview to their HR and they'll call me. It's been a week and a half since my interview, kaya I'm anxious to know if I got in or not... Sino pa ba dito ang hindi pa natatawagan since their first interview (after passing the Simulation)?

For those who are asking, the Athenaeum office is the office of Ward Howell, where you take the Initial Screening. The 28th Floor, Tower 2 of Enterprise is the Regus offices. It's like a Mini-Convention Center which rents out spaces to Companies in need of a place to hold their meetings, interviews, temporary offices, conventions, etc.

Wala pa silang website for the Philippine Operations. Even their main website, Convergys.com (http://www.convergys.com), does not have any information on the operations here... Well, not at the moment.

hi! to answer your question, i had my final interview sa enterprise center, 28th floor... never ako pinapunta dun sa salcedo village. but from what ive read here, ward howell daw yata yung andun sa salcedo.. am i right? i think wardhowell and seven seven global resources are the firms responsible for convergys' recruitment. i was interviewed first sa seven seven (sa ortigas ito), tapos after i passed the simulation, final interview na.

i just got a call yesterday from convergys.. they're making me report to their office sa enterprise for a technical exam tomorrow (July 4).. at first, i was asking if i could be rescheduled for a later date kasi may listening test ako sa BPI pero sabi nung guy last chance na daw yun at kapag di pa ako nakapag-exam eh mapapasama ako sa next batch. tapos sabi niya after the technical exam sa morning eh sa hapon naman daw ay job offer na.. yun ang sabi niya. hindi ko lang alam kung ganun talaga mangyayari tomorrow. medyo worried nga ako kasi when i had my final interview, my interviewer told me that the technical exam would be all about the computer and your knowledge of it. Eh paano kapag nalagay ako if ever sa technical support program.. nyaks! hindi pa naman ako masyadong marunong sa mga technical chu-chu na yan...

I guess I'll be answering my own question...

I passed the final interview and I'm due for an orientation tomorrow. They weren't able to disclose the benefits that they will be offering since, I believe, they'll be cascading that info during the orientation.

I haven't signed anything yet because no contract was given yet. I think this is a good initial practice to allow the prospective employees to weigh their options.

So I guess my move will be decided on depending on what I find out tomorrow.

I do hope that the options would be better at Convergys, though. Yet, I'm excited to work for the company.

I think they still looking for those who have call center experiences na. Got an interview with other 4 applicants pero you'll see that they give more attention dun sa mga nagcall center and tama nga ako. They actually told us(nasa IT) na wait for their call and the rest remains..

paano kaya ako makakpagshift ng career nyan?? hehehe

i was called kanina by convergys, i think. ininterview nya ako and sabi nya nirefer daw ako sa kanila ng convergys. may interview ako this monday at ortigas. 77Global daw sila. is this a recruitment agency for convergys or a different call center? sinong nakakaalam kung ano yung 77global? tnx!

I went through same series of interviews as the other guys did. For the job offering, it was given after the short orientation given. This actually helped us think about the offer and yet know where the company stands and what it has to offer. I got a confirmation that they were offering the job to me that very same day of my last interview but the details of the offer came only after the orientation. The job offer was discussed in detail on a one-on-one basis with the Team Leaders previously hired.

Sweetie, it WILL be a stable company. Aside from being the number one call center worldwide as of June this year, it is currently one of the most admired companies in the US (see Fortune Magazine March 2003 for reference purposes) and one of the Fortune five hundred companies.

Furthermore, aside from the two call centers they're putting up here in Metro Manila, they have plans of putting up two more - one in the north and one in the south (exact locations haven't been disclosed yet). Stable enough?

hi! i just had my initial interview yesteday sa 77global for convergys, i know i passed everything. alam nyo ba kung gano katagal bago maginterview sa convergys office talaga? sabi nila theyll call me within the week.
kasi i have a dilemma. another stable call center already gave me their contract and told me i should make a decision daw by wednesday or thursday and start work by monday if ever. and convergys have not called yet.
pano ko masisiguro kung pasado nako sa convergys? and marami pa bang test and interviews before you know for sure that youre in sa convergys? alam ko kasi na mas ok pag naguumpisa yung company eh and youre one of the pioneers.
i just want to weigh my options. ano ba ang ino-offer sa convergys? how much is the basic salary, benefits, etc, if anyone here knows? is it true na P17,500 ang starting?

Hey, to those people who's excited to know about the pay. Well, here's an ifo from my trainor. My trainor applied there and he/she passed. Sabi ng trainor ko 18k is the starting for CSA. di pa kasali yun night diff. So, it's not 15,16 or 20k. IT"S 18K!!!!

Ahh... the account they handle is BELL SOUTH, Verizon pa lang daw here... and according to my trainor meron isang tech account. I'll keep you guys posted.

haha.... anyways, look at the bright side naman... you get more money if you get terminated, diba?? hehe.... just make sure you don't tell your future employer that you got terminated. hi there!!! :D

i had my phone interview last monday and he (the recruitment officer) asked me if i could come the next day for a preliminary screening. i went at 77global last tuesday for a "simulation" exam and interview. he told me i passed!!! :D. he said i just have to wait for their call for an interview (?) again.

diane_anne - you were asked to take the technical exam after the final interview? upon filling up the application form in 77global, they also handed out a "technical exam" form to me... question, was it different from the technical exam that they gave you after the final interview? :confused:

hi miss Una_dagmar! :D how many days did you have to wait for them to call you up after you passed the initial screening?

*sigh* i'm wondering if they would really call me for that interview.. :(

Yung Simulation Test ba sa Convergys is the same sa Role-Playing ng Etelecare? Parang the applicants will act as the call-center agent and their interviewer will be the client. May script ba?

Basically, after the simulation, we were asked to give our available time to be scheduled for an interview within the week. I was informed the day before my interview.

There are certain things to consider here:

- First, you might want to try to get in touch with them and follow up. That way, they'd know that you're really interested.

- OR, there's a possibility that you are being considered for the job, but at this point in time, they are not immediately hiring, as the actual call center is still under construction. I'd say, just get in touch with them anyway.

I don't have any call center experience considering that I am a fresh graduate so the salary I got is lower than 18K. Hindi ko lang alam dun sa mga may call center experience. Plus may 1000 na non-taxable food allowance. 20% night differential, and as of mga august to september, 5 day work week pa lang. May bond na 4 months but if you decide to quit early (like, for example, after 3 months), you'll have to pay 20,000 pesos for the training they gave you.

I think so. I'm not that sure though. In terms of prestige, I haven't heard ICT belonging to any list of most admired companies (c/o Fortune Magazine). The pay is quite big, though (as per my friend who tried to apply. She turned it down, though kasi outbound programs lang ang meron.).

There are only 2 ways a start-up company can go - either growth and expansion, or bankruptcy. I think Convergys will grow and expand. The best thing about that is that when it does and you were there when it all started, you have more chances of growth and advancement too.

But it's a risk - everything is. Question is... are you ready to take that risk?

I have a friend who didn't undergo the agony of waiting and wondering if she made it or not. I can say that she did not even exert any effort. Still, she got the job (she was pirated by Convergys). I'm convinced she's destined to be a part of their team...

I cannot answer your questions as of yet coz I'll be undergoing my call sim tomorrow pa.
I do believe it is like taking actual calls , but I am not sure how Convergys go about the process. I myself have questions about the whole thing and I just hope I'll do well enough to move on to further interviews with the company. :)

If I were you, don't wait for them to contact you. It's perfectly okay to get in touch with them first. That way, they would know that you are really interested in the job...

I underwent an interview with Convergys this afternoon. I don't know if I passed nga lang. This is the part I am not that fond of...waiting for their decision.

bakit magkaiba yata sa tin? In my case, after I passed the call simulation, they immediately made us take the technical exam ( that was last week) and this afternoon I had my interview. They said they'll call me up na lang daw coz titignan pa rin nila and they'll sort of compare with the other applicants pa. But prior to the interview, the interviewer said the interview is for them to gauge where I should be best assigned in their company. I guess that's only if I'll ace it. Otherwise, sorry na lang. Gosh, I feel apprehensive. I just don't know what my chances are coz I am up against the other applicants and I don't even know how many of us are there. Ano kaya yun, yung applicants on the interview stage for this week kaya yung katapat ko or baka naman pati yung mga two weeks ago pa? Yikes. I hope I'll get in pero if not, well...i"ll just have to understand and respect their decision ( as much as it will surely make me feel dejected).

No interview eh.. call simulation agad... unfortunately, di me pumasa eh... i think 3 or 4 *** ata yung pumasa sa amin... less than 20 *** actually...... i think i failed sa typing... after we did the call simulation, the results were given agad.. tapos, *** mga passed nag-take na rin ng technical exam.. =) after that, may-interview rin *** after.. =)

maybe the job is not meant for me..... well, okey *** 'coz i realize na mahirap pala mag-voice... hehehe =)

Give it a week. If they were not able to contact you within that period, try calling them and getting the score (politely, though). If you weren't in, I'd suggest you ask what you needed to improve on so you wouldn't make the same mistake you made before in your succeeding job hunts. It was different in my case because They needed to sign up agents asap for the pilot group. I am not sure though about your case. Just make sure to ask. It never hurts to try anyway.:)

YOU MIGHT AS WELL KNOW THAT MY FRIEND IS STARTIN ON AUGUST 4 AND THEY PAY:
PhP 15,000 basic plus PhP 1,000 allowance

This is what they pay for an experienced CSR - thought this is one of the highest paying call centers:o turns out no :rolleyes:

though pay isn't everything :shy: from all the readings i've done with this call center, i think they have one of the more well structured call centers we have.

Tnx for the tips. I'm also interested to join this company but the only hindrance that I can view at the moment is that I've no actual experience with "voice support". Right now, I'm with the email support grp.

Any idea on the required typing speed? :confused3:

I submitted my application on the first week of July and got an email just this week. With hundred applicants, it takes them a while to shortlist and respond to aspiring applicants. Try sending an email to: cps.recruiting@convergys.com

hi joey. pumasa ka ba sa call sim? kasi u mentioned na di ka pumasa dun, right? if that's the case, then you won't be called up for an interview. second stage na of screening yun eh. but hopefully, you'll be gien a chance to try again. ako nga waiting pa for the result eh. hope I'll get in.

thanks for answering my inquiry. I really hope I'd get in but if Convergys will not hire me , I'll just have to understand. I do have pending applications in 2 other call centers and I am scheduled for the initial screening process by next week.
I have call center experience so I am confident and hopeful that it is just a matter of time before I become part of the industry again. I just hope it is with Convergys.

by the way pumasa siya pala sa simulation and was given a tech exam. e nadalian naman daw sya sa tech exam. may possibility kaya na di na siya dumaan sa interview stage. :confused: :confused: :confused:

hi there,

just want to enlighten you,regarding the training before simulation. My friend also was informed that he's got to take a 2-hour traing in Ortigas before he gets to the final interview. That will just be a sort of internet knowledge training, not the training for those who had passed the recruitment process. Most probably, your friend will repeat his technical exam. But they will have to be scheduled for the final interview pa.

My other friend for example finished the first interview ans simulation in less than a week and received an email that he still has to get the simulation exam. He contacted them and was informed that he has to ignore that message and wait for the final interview sched.

We have to understand that they have a lot of people handling recuitment so medyo magulo lang talaga ng konti.
Let's bear with them.:)

In that case, I'd like to reiterate that 15k is indeed a good starting pay. I guess that the pay depends in some factors then:

- experience
- program (does your friend know what program he/she will be in?)
- or just a theory, date hired...

hey guys! newbie here ....:)

can you help me out, i was asked by 77global to pass my grad certificate before july 30, im having problems with my school so i asked for an extension, they gave me until august 11 and im not sure i can fix my papers until the 11th, major screw up ng school ito and siempre ako iniipet nila, okay lang kaya humingi ulet ng extension???

sa convergys mismo okay kasi i have more time to fix my papers kasi sa start date pa ako nirerequire i pass yun. anyway okay kaya humingi pa ng extension doon sa 77global kasi talagang badtrip yung school ko ehh, hinohold ako ehh, ieexplain ko naman ng mabuti sa kanila. :)

I just finished the interview with convergys earlier. What they said was the same thing. They have to compare with other applicants pa then they'll call me daw. Ayun..mga next week siguro job orientation na. Ok naman..after nung call sim, tech exam. Pag pumasa ka sa pareho, hintay na lang ng tawag for the interview. Tapos pag pasado din dun, job orientation. After nun sked na lang for training.

Hey! I also start September 8. I'm not really sure where we would be assigned to. I really wish sa Ortigas tayo since it's nearer to where I live. Guess I'll have to make a call to confirm that as well as the time when training starts. 'Hope you enjoy your first job...

...i'm currently employed with a callcenter and i'm kind of afraid of applying for a job in Convergys because of this bond. I *might* :shrug: get sued if I get accepted in another call center. What do you guys think:?:

Those "bond" are usually bluffs made by companies to minimize premature resignations. You can easily get away with those kind of bonds by pretending to be sick or have some very serious personal problem what will prevent you from working in top shape. Just don't tell anybody what you're planning, it's better to keep these things to yourself. I know people who didn't give a damn about those bonds and the worst thing that they got from their previous employer was that they were not given clearances. According to them if this happen, the trick is not to put the company in your resume. Tsk tsk tsk! What am I teaching you! :lol:

The supposed rationale behind the "training bond" is return of investment. "We spend to train you, and in return, you have to work for us up to this point in time."

However, I am already finding it pointless to even offer a training bond for more than 4 months. With the changing needs (and costs) and opportunities, the trend now is to shift from one employer to another to get the "best deal" out of these potential employers. On the average, most yuppies could only stay for about 3-4 months in a call center.

Well, in any work environment, the mood would be set by the people who work in it. I believe that we should try to make the call center environment as happy as possible...you'll find out why when we get to the floor.

hello Una :) I submitted my resume at thru email(77) then somebody texted me telling me to kol them for a phone interview on a certain number.

Unfortunately I lost my cell, so i called 114 to ask for their no., so I called but their HR told me to just submit my resume again. I did but till now wala pang respond.

Anyway what is the typing speed requirement of convergys???:)

How long has it been since you submitted your resume?

I'm not really sure about typing speed required but the key to that is to relax and to just ...well..just type as quickly and as accurately as possible (duh?:confused: )

Hello tacoe ;-)

First, you should get your own SSS number. As for the Philhealth (Medicard) and TIN, the company can apply one for you. You have an option if you want apply for it personally or not. If it's your first job, the company usually have forms for TIN application. Then, they'll forward it to BIR for processing.

hi! convergys texted me the other day and said that i was endorsed and should report to them as of yesterday. pasok na ako!!!
unfortunately, ang tagal ko nang hinihintay ang convergys magreply sakin after my exams with them, and i needed an immediate job, kaya i took etel's offer. tapos bigla nalang ako makakatanggap ng txt na ganun from convergys! sayang! badtrip! and now our tl makes us come in for work on our 6th day, dahil nagbago na agad shift namin, and bago lang ako sa etel, mind you. ewan ko ba. and i hate that f***ing bond! makes me feel like a f***ing prisoner!

Has she already signed a contract? The contract is normally presented during the JOB OFFER, after passing the final interview. She will also be asked to submit requirements.

ako rin po pa post,

i applied at the job fair last july sa megamall, tapos they texted me last week...

eh nung thursday lang ako nagkainteres...tapos phone interview ako ng ms. pia....then the next step ay pinapunta ako the following day para daw sa interview...

so friday 9 30 ang call time....pagdating ko dami na ring applicants...tapos may i fill up kami ng application form tapos tatawagin yata kayo by batch not sure kung 4 or 5....eh nagkaroon daw ng emergency meeting...kaya pinabalik na lang kami ng 11 30 or 1 30....bad trip!!!hehehehe

tapos pagbalik ko ng 1 30 konti na lang kami kasi yung iba siguro nagpunta ng 11 30...so the first step that we did was typing test and spelling..yung spelling grabe super hirap intindihin kasi sobrang british accent.....

e di akala ko bagsak na ako...3 kaming sabay sabay nag exam eh

then after that nainterview na yung isa kong kasama....sya yung first guy......then the next one is the other girl....

then ako yung last na ininterview....ang sabi dun sa dalawa kong kasama ay they will call them after 2 weeks not so sure if thats an offer already...

so basically ang ipinagawa sa akin ay ininterview ako..tapos....may ipinabasa syang paragraph...yung unang part ay that you have to read it in an american accent...tapos yung kabilang side is british accent....ginaya ko nga yung pagsasalita ni harry potter kasi yun lang ang alam kong madaling gayahin para maging british ang accent ko..hehhehehe....

then after that...may ipinagawa pa sa akin na hindi naman ginawa nung 2 kong kasama...i dont know kung anong tawag dun
pero ang ginawa ko ay you have to encode the words that you will hear on the headset....para syang personal info ng isang tao....then another exam given was the spelling...mga cities and states sa us...then yung 2 pang spelling part was madali lang yung mga easy words lang naman....

tapos they checked that and after a while, they congratulated me dahil ipinasa ko daw yung exams...then binigyan naman ako ng technical exam eh ang nakalagay na dun sa papel ay convergys..di na sya 77 global...yung isa naman ay personality test

paano po ba yun...kailangan ba maipasa ko din yung technical exam na yun...eh di pa naman ako kagalingan sa mga computers na yan....so after getting my papers..they told me na i aassess muna nila yung resulta..di pa na check eh....then they will call me after 2 weeks daw.....ok naman parang assured naman...

pero question lang po???

tatawag ba talaga sila after 2 weeks...sabi nung pia..they will recommend daw my papers to i dont know(di ko gaano naintindihan)...heheheh...

is it ok to follow up po ba after 2 weeks na di pa sila tumawag????

kasi i really want to be a part of that company aside from the fact that i'm desperate looking for a new job to leave my present company...

help naman po

after the steps mentioned above...ano pa po ang next step????

Kobe20: Hi there! As I understand it, sa 77global ka nagsubmit ng application. From what I heard, Convergys is one of their call center clients. San ka ba nag-exam? Sa Ortigas?

If you indeed passed the exam, then you will be endorsed to Convergys or another call center for processing and perhaps another exam. Not so sure kc sa Jobstreet ako nagsend.

Anyways, just wait for their call and pray na tawagan ka nila.

If you didn't receive any call, you may follow-up with them. There's nothing wrong with that.

Actually yung sa job fair sa megamall dalawa naman yung logo nila dun isang convergys tapos yung isa nga 77 global pero iisa lang naman daw sila...

77global and Convergys are two separate entities. 77global is one of the agencies that handle application processing for Convergys, your potential employer.

I hope you get in as well...:D

She's in...

The job orientation would allow your girlfriend as well as other potential employees to be acquainted with the company, and the people in the company. It's quite short and brief.

The job offer would be in the form of presenting to your girlfriend the contract stating the terms, compensation and benefits, and pre-employment requirements. She is given the chance to go over it and to ask questions regarding the contract and work offered to her. If she agrees to the terms and conditions stated in the contract, she can immediately sign it and be considered a bonafide Convergys employee. If she has second thoughts, or perhaps wants to discuss it with you or her family, she is given a deadline for her to make a decision.

What hinders you from feeling comfortable to let your girlfriend work in a call center? :*)

i'm with the command center team, so far so good. doin nothin much lately because because the manila based call center is still finishing the set-up for the first two call centers. batch one is now in training.:p

im with the support group. command center team, our team is transferring to ortigas by october i heard. the ortigas bldg will have 3 floors for the call center while here in enterprise convergys only has one because the other floor is used for the offices of convergys. live calls will start on the 25th of august.:p

Hey wishywashy...you're in!

Word of advice: when you attend the orientation, observe. When you are given your job offer, read your contract very well and ask as many questions as you can to get things straight so that you won't have any regrets for taking or not taking the offer. I can assure you that the TL's as well as other employees there are very welcoming ang open. Don't be afraid to ask and to mention your inhibitions.

After you've done all that I've suggested to you, you could make your decision...good luck!

ei ei kobe20 we share the same feeling..i wanted also to be part of a company but i think they don't like me...sigh..

as for 77global...i applied at the job fair...last monday ( i think) pia texted me to go to their office for convergys...after that we had the panel interview & the exam...we were 15 then...after that exams she called for those who didn't passed...then we were about 5 i guess...for the personality & tech test....then a girl told us "congratulations" and told us in a matter of 2-3 days pia/francis will call/text us for the convergys itself...yesterday pia called for convergys then we had this short orientation then went to makati...we had call simulations & e. something....it was really tense so to end this..i failed! our group of 5 plus 7 others(12) were reduced to 5 i think..and in my groupmates...they were three...damn...i find the simulation hard & maybe i clicked 2-3 times to repeat the voice prompt...i guess they will have their final interview scheduled....

i think i was the 7-8th to be called so maybe i almost made it..sayang....

Congrats to you, too. By the way, I believe that the simulation was a very effective tool. Not all call centers have that. Admittedly, it pays to have experience in a call center to pass that phase in recruitment.

Let me get this straight..

There will only be two floors utilized at The Enterprise. One floor will be for workstations and another one for the support group (HR, management, etc.).

The rest will be in Ortigas? That means all training and ops for this month and September will be in the Makati center, right?

Hi! would you happen to know if they are also hiring HR personnel, im actually working in one call center right now, more into HR / Recruitment , i already went to their office in Makati for interview, the guy mentioned to me that result may take long ( that was just this month ) but no word from them yet.....any news about new HR group? :) :)

I called just the other day and they told me to wait for their call before they would be able to confirm the training schedule since they are still assessing to which program one would be assigned to. If this is the case, it would mean that we might belong to one batch, but they'd be starting the other programs.

Yup...PeopleSupport applicants should inquire with both the HR of Convergys and PeopleSupport about the "agreement".

Hazard Pay - pare ang laki nito.... sa akin 4k a month

sa convergys meal allowance lang.. may quarterly bonus sila.. pero what is that compare to my hazard pay monthly?

i asked them many questions during the job offering. actually, maganda naman talaga. pero i chose to stay here in Sykes. kasi mas ok yung mga benefits...

NCAA HERO-Growth eh.. tsaka personal issues eh kaya lumipat, parang may favortism sa mga promtoion dami sa batch namin ganun *** issues kaya lumipat na lang yes tama si NCAA HERO pag dating sa benifits once regularized tiba tiba sa sykes lalo na *** hazard pay ako nga 3,000php naman a month siguro Nova ka na Dude. ;)

Yup...PeopleSupport applicants should inquire with both the HR of Convergys and PeopleSupport about the "agreement".

kasi i think dati daw ngoffer convergys pag from ps basic start nla is 20K *** **** ngalet kabila..

start din my training sept 8, 2-10pm naman...un ***, hehe :)

Magkano ba starting para sa mga Technical Support? May call center experience na din kasi ako. Ok ba ang working environment? Pwedeng pa-PM na lang if ever nung mga information kung ayaw nyo sabihin dito.

I passed the simulation test yesterday. Whew :sweat: not really that difficult but you really have to be focus to pass that. Anyway don't know when they are going to call me. Meron bang pumasa sa lahat ng exam and simulation then bumagsak pa sa final interview. A friend of mine told me na bale wala na daw yun, parang nagkwekwentuhan lang hehehehe. And it is also true that the final interview will serve as the basis on how much your salary will be. Btw I didn't take that training. I got 19/20 sa technical exam so there is no need for me too, sabi ng friend ko those who got below 15 were required to take that training if they passed the simulation test.

anyway 2 of my friends didn't pass the simulation ... :( ... is there anyway they can apply again? I don't think may sinabing they can't eh. Or do they have to wait for a couple of months pa before they can re-try.

I am a former employee of PS. I visited PS Office because I was trying to go back and work there again. I asked some of my batchmates na dun pa rin nagwork if they have heard of CONVERGYS and they said "BAN" daw ang mga PS employees from applying there and I asked them why tapos sabi nila it has something to do with the Mr. B daw of PS and convergys...i dunno what's it about until i read ur posts here about the "Agreement" they had.

Wow naman 20K!:eek: Talagang lilipat lahat ng tagaPS nyan sa Convergys!

...tinawagan din ako ng Convergys for simulation last week pero too late na kasi i was hired sa AIG-BPSI. There are other PS employees who moved to AIG kasi maganda rin naman ang offer nila. Any one of you here who wants to apply sa AIG can go to www.philamlife.com and apply online. Go to carrers page. Kulang pa kami ng 3 :) BTW, this is more about insurance not technical stuff and the calls are inbound....
