i got a job 2 weeks after graduation. i started working may 2003. grabe, todo workaholic na kaagad ako. kakapagod nga e. nagsisisi nga ako nga i started working na asap. pero the offer came early kasi. i did not have a choice na. i was tempted. hay, i miss college life.

Hello Batchmates!
I'm already working. There were job offers soon after the classes ended but I preferred not to work immediately. I waited until after my graduation and started working last May.
Good luck sa job hunting! I hope you guys find the right job for you!

I have no regrets that I've not taken a vacation after graduating last April... Fun fun ang work! I can now afford to buy stuff but then... anyone who needs financing PM me... My interest rates vary depending on your need, capacity to pay etc (parang bank ah). If i'm illiquid because of all the lending I do I'll warn you. I don't give out a clean loan. No loans based on face value
(as in pretty face ha) po... hehehe

If you need a bank right now and you wanna be treated very nicely then PM me. We are the epitome of service excellence! :)

Ang suwerte-suwerte nga ng latest batches of graduates, eh.

The explosion of call centers has given you job opportunities that are unimaginable during the time we graduated (hindi ko na sasabihin ha? kasi mahahalata age ko he-he-he)

Ngayon kayo pa ang pag-aagawan ng mga call centers na ito. And mind you, hindi biro ang starting pay! Saan ka ba makakakita ng jobs na P12,000 to P17,000 a month?

You should really be thankful for these opportunities coming your way.

And the call center phenomenon isn't stopping anytime soon. A lot more are setting up shop in the country kaya expect Batches 2004 and beyond to benefit from this migration of jobs to the Philippines.

Sometimes we need to recognize the blessings given to us and do the best at what we do para the country gets a good reputation in this business that will enable the continuous inflow of jobs into our shores. So it helps reduce the incidences of unemployment in the long-run. :)

right now i'm attenditng review classes for the nov. board exams and at the same time i'm doing a part-time business. coz i believe that if one wants to be successful financially, one must be in business, not employment..

Even if I'm not happy with my work, okay lang ...I have no regrets. I've resigned na nga e. :weg: I can handle complicated work, hostile managers, tons of overtime, 6 - 7 days of work per week ...pero wag lang po silang sabay-sabay :hiya: . In my case kasi all of them are currently hitting me. Going home everyday at 10PM, harrassed and feeling down is not my kind of life. But then again, I have no regrets. I've saved enough and I'm going to find another job before my time is over with that company.

my first full time job was really horrible. i was placed in the product management department. i was handling the sales of the product, but not the selling but the monitoring. it was really horrible. sad. i knew the product would not sell. but i kept on deceiving myself that it would sell but i knew deep inside that it really would not. i got tired. i gave it up. but i have no regrets. i was not happy. i don't mind starting all over again.

WOW Worldbank. If I may ask where's the office? My dad wants me to work there kasi. Is the employment requirements similar with ADB requiring you to have at least a Masters Degree?

I'm in the Headquarters in Washington DC. But the World Bank office in Manila is located in Taipan Building, Emerald Ave. Pasig City.

Well most people have advanced degrees even if they say it's not required. :)
