Curious lang talaga, would you guys have any idea how much CEOs (or country managers) of big companies like Ayala, Meralco, P&G, GLOBE, etc. receive monthly?

According to Asiaweek, in 2000 it was approx. $5,600/month. That's just for CEO's in general. They didn't break it down according to multinational, small, med. or large

How about speculating/guesstimating?
According to SEC Form17-IS filed by Jollibee Foods Corporation, the top 6 officers will receive a total of P34,441,560 in salaries for the year 2003. This group consists of the CEO, the EVP, and four vice presidents.
Let's assume the vice presidents make more or less the same, the EVP makes 1.5x a vice president's salary, and the CEO makes twice the EVP's salary.
Now, do the math. (4*x) + 1.5x + 2*1.5x = 34,441,560
or
8.5x = 34,441,560
x= 4,051,948.24
Each VP will make P4,051,948.24;
The EVP will make P6,077,922.35; and
The CEO will make P12,155,844.71 or P935,064.97 a month assuming a 13-month year.
This is guesstimating, as I've said, but it is a worthwhile exercise. Does anyone want to do this for other public companies?

I would like to add that these same six officers will be awarded an estimated bonus of P10,776,000 for 2003. If we distribute this using the same formula, we get:
VP - P1,267,764.70 each
EVP - P1,901,647.06
CEO - P3,803,294.12

Just wondering, since it's safe to say that this kind of salary is as high as it gets in the country, how much of it goes to the government?
Peace.

True, but keep in mind that the company they run earned P1.04 BILLION last year. Not every CEO can justify that he deserves his salary, but these guys most certainly can.

Are the benefits included? Like the company pays for the house rental at let's say Forbes Park, children's education, servant salaries, etc.

Just think though....
NBA players' minumum salary is $750,000 a year with the superstars getting upwards of $20,000,000 a year. The average would most likely be in the 4 to 5M range since there are more bench warmers than stars. There are 29 teams with 12 players on their roster each. And the season only lasts about 6 months.
Baseball players are even more ridiculous...
Locally, the average team salary annually is about 30M pesos. You divide that by 12 players, you get 2.5M a year or about P208,000 a month on the average. They only play about 50 games a year. The cap has been lowered to 4.2M a year per player without bonuses. About 2 to 3 players get this per team.
Bottom line, some players do get paid CEO salaries. In fact, I'm sure they get paid more than the VP's of the large companies they play for. Are they really that important to the company?
Hmmm....
Peace.
