i've worked there and it's been great after leaving L2S! You can see the trend, it's now getting worst! If you're not after learning the techy stuff, better find other jobs! Kpag nakuha nyo n **** nyo, alis na.. much better if not call center -in my own opinion. lalo nyo lang sinusubsob katawan nyo sa stress!

I am still working here sa L2S. Mag-4 years na me **. Naabutan ko itong L2S kalahati pa lang yung na-oocupy na space sa floor hangang sa lumaki yung pamilya. Nakita at naranasan ko dito yung magaganda at mga pangit na bagay. Minsan iniisip ko nga na bakit pa ako nag stay sa company na ito maski maraming ibang call center dyan na mas malaki ang pasahod. Pero ewan ko ba, parang siguro yung friends ko na rin ang nag papastay sa akin dito. Kami na lang yata ang batch na more tha 13 pa. We started 18 tapos after 4 years masaya na makikita mo na andyan pa sila still holding on, nangangarap na may magbago sa company. anyways, naisip ko na rin na pwede rin naman me makabuo ng ibang mga friends sa ibang company pero ayaw ko din. Naisip ko na maski gaano kalaki ang sweldo mo, di ka pa rin masa-satisfy kung di ka marunong masatisfy on what you already have. Marami tayong dreams, bagay, luho na gusto natin na sana meron tayo, pero ganun din siguro ang mangyayari pag nasa ibang company ka, pareho pa rin yung mga luho mo at syempre para makasabay ka sa mga ka officemates mo, bibili ka rin ng meron sila. What i am thinking is sana tulungan ng L2S yung mga empleyado na maging wise-spender, ewan ko lang kung paano. Just to end this teary message, I just want to say that it not just money that keeps the employee stay in a company. Sometimes it takes a heart to make them go away.:bop:

AIOSHIN - to tell you the truth e link2support has a very complicated training but very useful when you want to transfer to other companies. stay with link2support for 2 years and definitely your salary would be higher than what you would expect.
For DAVAO site, it is still with the HROD for the benefits but definitely it would be the same as for CDO and Manila ofcourse the amount is confi.
Link2Supports environment is very different from other call centers kasi medyo LAX yung crowd and very down to earth yung crowd. ofcourse, you can't remove political issues coz every company has it naman e. basta know where you stand.
DAVAO will open late this year or early next year.
For the network specialist, before when they opened CDO the new employees where actually trained here in Manila. I am not sure how will they be doin it there in Davao.

I don't think Linksys will have a conflict of interest kasi they own Link2Support that is why when Program Management had a chance to get the rival of linksys which is NETGEAR e it is a start of a big challenge kasi you know naman how the salary goes at linksys. netgear has a different salary straucture and different management definitely because it will be handled by the Program management team. so iba talga ang management. NETGEAR is located at ICITE eastwood. I don't think magpupull out ang linksys kasi who would get them knowing they pay so little diba???

confirmed by my friend, they'll be going to CDO for training, wow, almost 1 month yung training nila.. are they also going to be binded with that sort of bond, the one they're saying that a certain amount will be deducted from the small salary they have for one year of stay?

Link2Support is really interesting when your employed already. =)
Yup, we do give certifications like CCNA and even send you to singapore or thailand depends where the training will be located. But the hint there is you should be patient. ofcourse, you will be bonded for 1 year kasi sayang naman yung free training kung after a few weeks e lilipat ka sa ibang company na bitbit mo yung knowledge.
for the meal part, mga agents usually sells food e. walang canteen sa l2s bldg kasi magbabayad ang l2s sa eastwood if ever magkaroon ng canteen. pero alot are already selling food sa may pantry.
yung training nila sa CDO e for starters they would be trained regarding the facilities ng Link2 so i guess walang bond yun. kung baga they will be taught how to fix yung mga problems kapag nagkaroon.
sa mga agents yun at those na napadala sa ibang country ang may bond. agents ng LINKSYS e may bond pero after a year e you will get the whole amount. so parang nagtitipid ka lang.

BTW, about NETGEAR they don't have a bond.

hmmn, any idea if l2s uses avaya for the call manager or its VoIP facilities? avaya seems to be hot on every callcenter as far as job ads says.. when I applied to people support, they ask me if I have any hands-on knowledge of Avaya.. which I dont have since am not connected to any CC yet.. yun, bagsak tuloy ako... I should have applied na lang sana as Tech Support...

Heyo!!! maybe i can help you with these concerns:

1. Under grad, yes as long as you're capable for the job. comm skills is good, proficient in computer hardware and software. recently, may na hire na first year college lang, but he proved himself so andyan na sya sa floor.

2. Phone interview- if not given the schedule for exam, meaning you did not meet the requirements. walkin- depends on the stage, initial, exam, final - 5 to 10 mins after each stage if you did not meet the requirements.

3. Training period is for 25 days - 4 days comm skills (with elimination), 21 days technical, in some cases extension will be conducted.

The thing is last night nagbabrowse ako sa jobstreet me nakita akong bagong opening nila which is NETWORK SPECIALIST, based on the requirements given I believe that I fit the job description.

Ang tanong ko po ay...

1. Pwede po ba akong magpalit ng trabahong inaaplayan?

2. Ano po ba ang mas mataas (in terms of the postion, salary, etc.) between the TSR and NETWORK SPECIALIST?

somebody from hr texted me yesterday and she gave her contact # to call back. the thing is, i called her early this morning, right after i woke up. and when she answered my call, she was already asking for initial interview. so given the fact that i just woke up (and still not on my state of mind), i told her if i could call her back when im ready. she said it's ok. what are the possibile questions that she would ask me on the phone? and how long will it last?

Binili na tayo ng SYNNEX. Positive naman daw kase tayo ang binili. Manufacturer yata sila ng mga IT hardware parts din. Plan nila na aside sa pag-ooffer ng hardware parts, mag-ooffer sila ng tech support na L2S ang mag-ke-cater. Wala daw mababago sa policy at management.
