i also had a bad experience here.. suppose to be kasi for training na ko this august. sabi nung final interview ko, tatawagan na lang daw pag start na *** training. kumpletuhin na din daw agad yung mga requirements inckuding yung pre-medical employment which i did. i was just waiting for their call until august 20 came when i decided to follow-up the schedule for the training, nagulat ako na yung training for the account i was supposed to be in already started a week back. the girl told me na all trainees were informed through call or text but i didn't received any from them. i was so hopeful to be part of the company so i was kinda disappointed with what happened. i was advised na yung account mukhang hindi na raw magkakaroon ng next batch pero di pa sure so wait na lang daw ako. another option she gave me was to undergo a final interview for another account if i can't wait. pero kung di ako makakapasa dun sa final interview, di na ko makakapasok sa L2S. ito pa naman sana yung magiging work ko after 6 months tapos nawala pa.. hay.. =(

I worked for link2support for almost 4 years and I just want to contest a few points about this post. I'm speaking from experience but I'm not sure and would hardly believe that anything changed since I left 1.5 years ago.


L2S has a total of 2000++ employees....


During Linksys's (around 2003-2004), we already had almost 2000 employees, 80% of which are in the call center operation. Now, 2000++ for three only means the company is hardly growing even with other accounts.

Fast paced mean you will be forced to work on your rest day (during peak season i.e. back to school) which is hardly compensated or you'll get an IR.

One of the best technical training is from L2, but all of the good technical trainers left the organization. I'm not sure if there are a few good trainers left. Anway, still a good stepping stone for you to pursue a career in technical support, then again there's other better options.

Here's my opinion on this.

*COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION PACKAGE (ENTRY LEVEL GROSS MONTHLY CASH COMPENSATION OF P17,000) - not so competitive with other call centers, others can offer more.

*INTERNAL PROMOTION SYSTEM - a lot of managers, supervisors where external hires and this really iritated those supervisors who had been working for L2 since their days in Ortigas.

*MERIT INCREASE SYSTEM AND REGULARIZATION INCREASE
*COMPANY PERFORMANCE-BASED BONUSES
*INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE-BASED MONTHLY/QUARTERLY INCENTIVES
- question is how much and how will they be evaluated?

*PERFECT ATTENDANCE REWARDS - cellphone prepaid cards anyone?

*COMPETITIVE NIGHT DIFFERENTIAL AND ALLOWANCE -once income tax is abolished, then you'll appreciate this.

*REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAMS FOR EMPLOYEES AND APPLICANTS - no comment - this one is new!

I hope that I get to qualify in Link2Support. I did my research and I believe that the company will reach greater heights, especially with the new partnership last year with Synnex Corporation. I tell you, this is promising.

Nababawasan na talaga ang pagiging tatak "technical" ng L2S dahil sa kung ano-anong non-technical account ang pumapasok. Imagine, ang dating na agent na swerteng maka-30mins sa isang call to configure a router, ngayon remote control ng tv ang pinag-aaralan? Tsktsktsk!

i agree. magmula ng dumating ang dish sa l2s naagkaleche leche na ang career ko. nung sa linksys malinaw ang career path. skill 1, 2, 3 and then skill 4 tapos skill 5. after that you'll become a TL/TC. ngayon para na kaming robot following the freaking stupid web! don't get me wrong, ok naman ang account it's just that di sya applicable to most of the agents lalo na sa mga matagal nag-support ng linksys (like me). di lang ako makaalis dahil may loan pa ako (sucks).

I think technical account kasi near sa training room ang workplace ko and I hear dish trainees discussing things like setting up the receiver, can't view some channels, etc.

may neighbor works for Concentrix (L2S) and she is supporting DISH Account as CSR (Billing with a touch of tech. support) and her basic is 16K. Dayshift siya so no ND, and every 3 months ang shift rotation. Walang allowances because the Dish Client insists that the account "daw" is very easy. Haayyy!!! But 16K is still 16K for a dayshift, and they have pay for performance bonus.

2. toxic ba ang csr dish account? may upselling ba dito?
