may night diff naman yun...*** lang sure rate pero meron... allowances are all performance based, mataas kpi means mataas allowance... yes they allow 1 relative if you are a year old sa corp, tapos 500 lang for another dependent

sabi ng katabi ko 25k daw ang starting pala ng level 2 support sa concentrix (formerly link2). ayos di eh noh!... parang mas maganda pang magresign tapos apply ka ulit para tumaas sahod mo...

Isa po ako sa mga na nag training ngayon tapos na yun soft skill training namin and mag start na ang BPT namin bukas with Sir Sonny. 17K po ang starting namin and after 6mos magiging 19k yun pag na-regular ka. Pero kailangan pa namin ipasa yun training.

i will have my orientation by JULY25...

here are my questions:

1. ok ba ang management dito? fare ba sila? ma-pulitika ba dito?
2. what about the pay? are there any disputes?
3. sa training? can you give me an idea kung gaano katagal ang training sa DISH? ... foundations training? product training? and nesting? what about the pay on those phases of the training?
4. sa training ba GRAVEYARD agad?
5. totoo ba yung that you can be regularized in 90days? how and why?
6. are there any career growth in this company?
7. how often do you change schedule in production floor? can i choose my preferred schedule? i want a day shift eh... not a 1am (literal na day shift)... like 8am and up...
8. may bond ba sila? if yes, how long? and how much?
9. what about the 22k signing bonus? totoo ba ito? how are they going to split that?
10. what about offs? is it on a weekend? or a weekdays? or a split off?
11. what about the requirements? strict ba ang compliance nila?

from a scale of 1 to 5 5 being the highest?masasabi kong fair na kung bigyan ko sila ng 2,pero on a normal basis 1 ang bibigay kong rating. **** saan namang company may politics eh, so far dito ang nakita ko na pinaka grabe.. hehe.
2. what about the pay? are there any disputes?

sa pay competitive daw pero i would recomend sa ibang company ka mag start mas malaki ang takehome mo at the end of the day kysa **..
WALANG MIDYEAR BONUS DTO ONLY SA MGA HIGHER UPS LANG.
INAABOT *** NG ADMIN NA NAKA SOBRE THEN SASABIHIN NA HUWAG MAINGAY.

Im not sure kung gaano katagal censya na pero tinanong ko sa knila 3 weeks daw, *** pay minimum pay pag gy ata may night dif, asahan na ang tax.

may times na kaylangan nila mag train ng gy kc madami sila trainee.
5. totoo ba yung that you can be regularized in 90days? how and why?

sa dish ndi ko alam eh.. may ka batch ako dati ndi sya nag rest day straight ang pasok nya naregular sya kaagad.. ***** baka 90 days ka straight pasok.
6. are there any career growth in this company?
the chances are super super slim next to none. pag ikukumpara mo sya sa pag taya ng lotto mas malaki pa ang chance natatama ka kaysa mag grow *** career mo. hehehe
7. how often do you change schedule in production floor? can i choose my preferred schedule? i want a day shift eh... not a 1am (literal na day shift)... like 8am and up...

every 3 months, u can make arangement naman pede ka lumipat sa pang morning na team.

To answer question 12: NO. Di mo pwede gamitin yung dati mong XRay. Kailangan mo ulit magpamedical and all.

Hay. If I were you maghanap ka na lang ng iba. Grabe ang intayan sa company na'to. Pag tapos nyo ng orientation, mga three weeks pa iintayin bago mag Basic Skills Training. That's what happened to our batch. Halos one month yung inintay namin tapos nagbabagsak pa sila pag di pumasa ng training.

Lagi silang hiring pero kaunti lang naman talaga yung vacancy.

Si Maam - friends ko yung ibang mga agent nya from before at kabatian ko na rin sya. ni minsan wala akong narinig na reklamo sa kanya. kagaya ni sir, dedicated din sya at understanding pa!

At yung pangatlo naging ka-team ko dati sa linksys.. ok naman sya at i think ok ang stats nila, i think yung team pa nga yata ang pinakamataas sa group namin when i left. i heard agent ulet sya at dun sya napunta sa team ko.


it's really unfair kasi to think yung grade ng TC eh is not something that they make for themselves but yung averaged grade ng agents nya. so hindi ang TC ang bottom performer kundi yung agents, some if not all. hindi man lang sila nabigyan ng consideration, kahit re-training man lang or whatever huwag lang termination agad kasi yung dalawa dun loyal sa company tapos gagaunin lang nila!

link2support was a good company.. mababa man ang sahod, ok naman ang mga tao at cool ang culture. tumagal nga ako ng 3 1/2 years eh! but now it's being ran by monkeys, everything is just crazy kaya napilitan akong umalis kahit ang dami kong friends doon!

I am currently working in Concentrix as a Level 2 Technical Support, just got hired last july 08. I came from TeleTech - NOVA as an L1 for DELL - XPS Account. Ahm, anyone who can tell me about concentrix, both good and bad sides of this company.

Pros: dont tease this company. even the salary is not competitive, the training rocks! you can do whatever you want on the floor (unlike other center esp. teletech that is too strict), not so crowded so more privacy and less "chismis"/personal issue.

Cons: computers are old school, sometimes its cold, sometimes its not so you cant decide if youll bring a jacket or not, the pantry sucks! its too simple compare to teletech nova, foods are too expensive.

Recommended for "virgins" in the call center industry.

Agreed on most of what was mentioned. Two reasons why nawawala ang mga binanggit ninyo:

1. Revenue - Before okay pa ang kita with just only Linksys. However, times have changed. Nagtaasan na and lahat ng pricing sa market pero mababa pa rin bigay ng Linksys. In almost all tier's negative and margin pwera lang sa Esca. This is the reason why inilipat sa ibang location. Hindi kayang isustain ng Linksys lang ang buong kabuhayan ng L2S. In addition, when you give a client that much power over a vendor (being the only client they have), it is a blessing and a curse. Blessing dahil may security ka na may stability yung account. A curse, being na if they tell you ito lang ibabayad namin sa inyo - take it or leave it. Hindi ka makaalma. Gustuhin man ibigay ni Vincent ang mga bagay na to, wala siya magagawa dahil kulang ang pagkukunan.

2. Synnex - Dati si Vincent lang ang main decision maker. Now, hindi na ganon. He reports to someone who also reports to someone else. Gusto ng Synnex na standardize lahat ng benefits sa mga offices nila worldwide. L2S is no exemption. Walang magagawa si Vincent unless sabihin ng Synnex "go."

Tama kayo. Nakakamiss nga dating L2S.

Just to address what you just mentioned. Tama ka na okay dati nung si Vincent lang main decision maker. Ngayon na madami na layers ng management, red-tape cannot be avoided. It's a fact in any organization.

As far as having other accounts, let me correct your perception. Ang linksys ay mababa ang bayad. Nagtaasan na ang halaga ng peso, nagbago na lahat sa world market pero sila mababa parin ang bayad.

Last year was the ultimate justification in having other accounts. Linksys wanted us L2S to staff according to forecast. Kinontest ito ng Workforce pero sabi ng Linksys, yung forecast namin ang sundin niyo. What happened next? Hindi dumating yung volume. Want to know by how much? 50% lang ng forecasted volume ang dumating. If you are paid per call and you staff at 100% of the volume, nalugi ka na by more than 50%. It has been this way for a large part of last year. Buti na lang pumasok ang dish, yung nalugi sa Linksys ay medyo nabawasan kahit papaano. Since 2006, may mga ibang support sa Linksys na already in the negative. Meaning, mas malaki pa gastos kesa sa ibinabayad ng Linksys.

If you only have one client, you are giving them power over you. Pag sinabi nila ito lang ang gusto naming ibayad sa inyo (take it or leave it), wala kang magawa kundi tanggapin ito dahil sila lang ang source mo ng livelihood. Alam ng client ito. Ito ang reason bakit naghanap ng ibang accounts.

Don't get wrong. Linksys is a good account however it is not enough to sustain a growing organization's needs - particularly the people.

Minimum wage earners get tax relief

MANILA, Philippines—A tax relief package that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed into law Tuesday is expected to result in daily savings of P34 for each of the country’s more than a million minimum wage earners, according to the principal authors of the measure.

Republic Act No. 9504 exempts minimum wage earners in the private sector and their counterparts in the public sector (casual employees) from paying income tax.

Minimum wage earners (or those paid the statutory minimum wage fixed by the regional wage boards) receive P382 daily in Metro Manila, and from P180 to P320 in other regions.

The law, which no longer requires minimum wage earners to file income tax returns, also increased the personal exemptions of other earners.

Other benefits—holiday, overtime, night shift differential and hazard pay—are exempted from income tax upon the effectivity of the law 15 days after its publication.

The President, who was visibly pleased with the new law, said it was part of government’s “immediate” help to Filipino families reeling from soaring prices of oil and rice.

A family of five living in Metro Manila should earn more than P10,000 a month to stay out of poverty, according to the National Statistics Coordination Board (NSCB). The amount is 16 percent more than the poverty line two years ago.

Personal exemptions up

The law increased the amount of personal exemption from P25,000 to P50,000 for all taxpayers regardless of status (single, married or head of the family), and the additional deduction for qualified dependents from P8,000 to P25,000.

Thus, a family of six, with two working spouses and four dependent children, will have a total of P200,000 in personal exemptions (from the current P96,000).

In case only one of the spouses is earning, he or she shall be allowed the standard personal exemption of P50,000.

The law defines a “dependent” as a “legitimate, illegitimate or legally adopted child” living with the taxpayer and not more than 21 years old, unmarried and not gainfully employed.

These provisions eliminated the old tax bracketing system under the 1997 National Revenue Code, as amended, which had specified tax exemption of P20,000, P25,000 and P32,000 for single, head of the family and married, respectively.

Senate’s principal author

The new law amended Sections 22, 24, 34, 35, 51 and 79 of Republic Act No. 8424 (National Revenue Code).

“The House focused on increasing exemptions, (while) my bill in the Senate essentially focused on exempting minimum wage earners,” said Sen. Manuel Roxas II, the principal author in the chamber. He and his co-author, Sen. Richard Gordon, attended the signing ceremony in Malacañang.

“The impact there will be to ease the burdens of minimum wage earners because it will give them hefty deductions,” Gordon said. He, nevertheless, encouraged workers to save and “become entrepreneurs.”

Other lawmakers who witnessed the signing were Senators Ramon Revilla Jr., Juan Ponce Enrile and Francis Escudero, House Speaker Prospero Nograles and Representatives Exequiel Javier of Antique and Martin Romualdez of Leyte.

Revenue impact

“The origin of this (act) was really intended for the minimum wage earners, but Congress decided to expand it to include middle-income earners, so we had to request them to assist us, to help us make sure that we arrive at a revenue-neutral situation,” said Finance Secretary Margarito Teves, who attended the signing.

Teves placed at P3.16 billion the foregone revenue from the tax exemption of minimum wage earners and at P11.1 billion the personal exemptions of medium-income earners—a total of P14.2 billion annually.

“That is now the challenge for us to generate the compensating revenues from those two sources (individuals and corporations) to arrive at a revenue-neutral situation,” said Teves, who acknowledged that the task would not be easy.

Consumption to go up

He said the government would have to convince individual taxpayers and corporations “to assist us. So we will probably review from time to time how we are implementing the law in terms of generating revenues.”

Teves expected domestic consumption to go up as low- and -middle income earners would have more money in their pockets.

“There will be a net addition in terms of money in circulation and that will help generate jobs, and the economy will also be on the road to some improvement,” he said.

Optional deductions

The Department of Finance hopes to recover the revenue losses from the imposition of optional standard deductions, Teves said.

The law also provides other taxpayers optional standard deductions in filing business or income tax returns.

For the self-employed and professionals, the law gives them an optional standard deduction of 40 percent of gross sales or gross receipts, and 40 percent of gross income for corporations.

Teves said the imposition of optional standard deductions simplified the filing of income tax returns for professional and medium, small and micro enterprises, thus increasing tax compliance.

The finance department expects to gain P15.03 billion from the optional standard deductions.
