SVI has been a good training ground for me and all those who decided to go abroad. madami na kame dito sa dubai na galing svi. we're all vets. and all of us already have great jobs with big companies. THANX TO SVI CONNECT.wala ni isa sa min dito nagreklamo about svi. all of us are indeed grateful. without our experiences in svi malamang hindi kame executives dito. sa totoo lang miss na namin ang svi. kahit sabihin pang jologs...SVI MADE US STRONGER INDIVIDUALS...

I am actually an accountant who tried Callcenter for a while...Regarding why SVi was included e yung ang opinion ko......talagang namang notorious ang svi for managing ppl... d maganda compared sa ibang callcenter....tska base narin sa thread na ito puro complaints.... heheheheee... Punta me Dubai para mag audit this coming October 2005. We have 2 companies sa Dubai....

im a dude na taga jmt. guess most of the folks here are from orient and i heard 'bout this thread recently and decided to check it out. i'm jus new in this forum but being in the company as long i have i guess i'm also entitled to speak muh mind out.
first lemme tell you that i do believe that those who posted negative comments are entitled to their opinion thus so am i, so here goes..
I find some of the rants and ravings of those who lash out at management juvenile and lacked the benefit of deep thought. i am not defending gladys , malou and the others. i am not their advocate. i'm just wondering how their personal lives would have anything to do with with their management styles. if you dont think their doing their job right then hit them for it. but stick to the topic. regressing to below the belt punches and cheap shots would make you no better than gossiping ******* in a hair salon.
I know some of you would say "kasi taga jmt siya. what would he know?". i tel you this I have worked in orient far longer than most of you have ever stayed in svi itself. i also have my own axe to grind with management but choose to keep my peace for now.
for those of you who insist on embarrasing (1 r ba or 2 rs or 2s?)the company thru this forum, i tell you: you cannot mudsling management without getting dirt on yourself. when you attack and try to embarass(again 1 r ba or 2 rs or 2s? my spelling got screw bec of txting 4giv me) the bosses you cause disgrace on the company as a whole. DAMAY PATI KAMING NASA JMT! i would admit that the company is not perfect but if it is as intolerable, and terrible as some people make it sound here are things i suggest you do.

1)resign-do not rock the boat while you are in it. management is part of the company so if it burdens you too much to be under people you do not believe in or whose competence you do not trust get out. marami ang tatanggap sa yo if you're good enough
if you refuse to resign then
2)sell more or at least be at goal. if you think pe-personalin ka nila or they're playing favorites, dont let them have any dirt to pin on you. BENTA MO LANG ANG PINAKA PANLABAN MO! simple lang if you are selling they cannot escalate you nor fire you even if you show that you dont like them. remember you don't have to be friends with them and if they dont like you already dont give them anything to throw at you.

people let us try to act a bit more mature. lets show the other folks who are not from svi that we are better than this. l

Oo taga fairview ako.... and i worked sa Sykes Sept 2003-July 17,2004 then i
worked sa isang pang callcenter July,2004 to Jan 2005.. Kaya ako alis Sykes kc kinuha ako ng Team Manager ko and joined the company..(. pero pag may choice ako i still like to work sa Sykes).My family lives sa USA, kinuha nila ako at nandito na ako sa States ng February 2005.. At ngayon nagwowork as Accountant sa isang Consulting Firm.....

hi! i'm part of the recruitment dept here at ambergris and i'd just like to clear out some things for the sake of those who might be interested. there has been some rumors about ambergris buying out svi and i'd like to confirm that there is no absolute truth in this notion. both call centers are respected for their own identities and we wouldn't want to implicate our colleagues in the industry with such statements.

Well that's good for you.BUT LET US BE REALISTIC HERE. lahat ng tao may kanya-kanyang reklamo sa kani-kanilang mga kumpanya. kemereseng si Bill Gates pa ang amo mo. because humans would always ask for more. we, humans, would never be satisfied. kung nagrereklamo man ang mga agents, malamang naman may basis ang complaints nila. but let us not compare SVI to other Call Centers because nothing would ever compare to SVI. It's not just the management and operations that we're talking about here but also the other factors like friendship.

During my stay in SVI, I also tried looking for other Call Centers. I've been offered a good job by Teletech, I-touch, Verve, Convergies, etc pero di ako umalis ng SVI because I have already established a good relationship with my team mates, team leaders, other agents and so on. Masaya ang samahan sa SVI kahit hirap bumenta. kahit sobrang pressured. but that pressure made us excellent in the field of marketing, sales, and communication.

i turned down the sykes offer as well as those of other centers bec of the pay i'm gettin right now-thats true. though my pay is'nt the standard package that svi offers newbies. im gettin it good bec of my tenure in the co at thesame time i have proven that im worth every penny in my payslip. sykes did offer a good package as well as the other offers i got from people support and other companies, but it was not enough for me. again this is because i've been in this industry for the longest time and thus racked up my market value. im not bragging what im trying to say is i'm this dinosaur who for the virtue of being a hardened vet in the industry is now a lil bit more expensive (museum peices are expensive y'know)
but if you do want to try your hand at tele-sales give svi a go. the training is great. if you are willing to learn you could be developed into a high-caliber sales person. the starting package may not be that pretty but if you're good, your commission will more than make up for it. as they say in sales: you have the ability to write your own paycheck

could you give me an idea of how much a newbie may get out of commissions in SVI? i'm not asking about the pay anymore coz i alrdy have an idea, and u'r right, the starting salary is really not that pretty. but at least i've the chance to make my paycheck bigger through my commissions, right?

Men, i know that we've been giving these B-I-T-C-H-E-S some low personal blow, but lemme tell you this, it feels great to insult the S-H-I-T out of them. WHY? Because they are the plague that slowly killin' the company, NOT US. I know what i'm talkin' about, i've seen how the Orient Square Center metamorphose from a facility conjusive to a harmonious working experience into a complete hell! You can't blame us from personally offending them, because these people don't know where to draw the line between their personal and professional lives. If only they have shown some respect for themselves, we might not be these dauntless in outraging them. If they have the audacity to contempt themselves, why can't we?

We're not here to burn SVI Connect as a company, as i've always mentioned, I wont trade SVI for any other callcenter because i owe everything i got from the company. What we really detest is the people currently running the Orient Square Center and the way they run it. You must be real grateful that youre in JMT, you have good, considerate and well-educated SUPERVISORS, Operations MANAGER and Soon-to-be-CALL CENTER MANAGER. If you could only experience the pestilence these POWER TRIPPERS (Orient Square) are giving us, i'm almost sure that you're using your gift of writting against them now.

I respect your suggestions, but i will not leave a place that i've learned to love. If there are people who needs to resign, those are the PEOPLE IN AUTHORITY who have infuriate the agents that cause this uprising. HINDI GANITO ANG SVI (Orient Square) NUNG HINDI PA SILA ANG NAKAPOSISYON.

And mind you, hindi na assurance na bumebenta ka lang, because if you will not fit the liking of these B-I-T-C-H-E-S, i'm telling you they can destruct you in a snap. That's how immoral and heartless these people are. We've seen them do that, up on our very eyes. At wala kame magawa pagnagtritrip silang paglaruan ang mga rules and regulations nila para lang may maescalate silang tao na gusto nilang perwisyuhin. you can fill up an application form @ 5/F Orient Sq Bldg Emerald Ave then they will be scheduling you to take the exam the next day.

i have a suggestion, if you think these people are abusing their positions i'm sure there are venues which you can use to get back at them.if you or any of those close to you have been escalated unjustly and you sincerely believe that you are not violating any rule i'll remind you you don't have to sign youur tdrs. takot na *** ma-technical kc the co had cases of unlawful termination sometime last year kaya ma-ilap sila sa labor. but all that will be for naught if you let yourself be bullied into signing tdrs when you dont have to.
placing your signature beside seemingly stupid entries like (example lang ha) "agent has been caught farting on the calling floor, repeated behavior will lead to death by tickling" will make it legal. so review everything that you sign that way it will make it difficult for them to have anything to pin on you.
better yet pa-transfer ka sa jmt. dito di-uso special treatment dito. kahit ka-inuman mo pa or kumpare yung o.m., the escalations would be applied if needed and considerations and commendations when it is due to you.
due to the years i have been with the company i do understand the plights of fellow agents. but mafia what i do not agree with is hanging our dirty linen in public. i know and understan your disgust at certain individuals in mgmnt but the REAL way to get back at them is not by badmouthing them online but by making yourself untouchable through your own sales and wait for them to make a wrong move like unduly escalating an agent for example. remember they have bosses too, and if they have been found guilty of unduly escalating or terminating performing agents the company loses money and that my friend is something the bosses in mt.olympus would not like.

re commissions, it will depend on what program you will be assigned to. the people with the most money here are the sellers in verizon. these folks have been known to rake in as much as 15k to 20k a month commissions alone.but these are the consistent performers. selling is all about attitude dude. as i mentioned if you have the willingness to learn and also the determination its very possible for you to be in that level or even beyond that. and yes i think they will still let you choose the shift you preffer. aight?!peace

i have a suggestion, if you think these people are abusing their positions i'm sure there are venues which you can use to get back at them.if you or any of those close to you have been escalated unjustly and you sincerely believe that you are not violating any rule i'll remind you you don't have to sign youur tdrs. takot na *** ma-technical kc the co had cases of unlawful termination sometime last year kaya ma-ilap sila sa labor. but all that will be for naught if you let yourself be bullied into signing tdrs when you dont have to.
placing your signature beside seemingly stupid entries like (example lang ha) "agent has been caught farting on the calling floor, repeated behavior will lead to death by tickling" will make it legal. so review everything that you sign that way it will make it difficult for them to have anything to pin on you.
better yet pa-transfer ka sa jmt. dito di-uso special treatment dito. kahit ka-inuman mo pa or kumpare yung o.m., the escalations would be applied if needed and considerations and commendations when it is due to you.
due to the years i have been with the company i do understand the plights of fellow agents. but mafia what i do not agree with is hanging our dirty linen in public. i know and understan your disgust at certain individuals in mgmnt but the REAL way to get back at them is not by badmouthing them online but by making yourself untouchable through your own sales and wait for them to make a wrong move like unduly escalating an agent for example. remember they have bosses too, and if they have been found guilty of unduly escalating or terminating performing agents the company loses money and that my friend is something the bosses in mt.olympus would not like.

Maybe I've been away from Orient too long that i was not able to imagine what was really happening there.i have always believed there would be a civilised solution to any problem especially if it would be regarding concerns about the office.

when i left orient a couple of years ago i actually dreaded going to jmt(stricto daw kasi, bugbog ang tdr mo, etc) and orient was then so to speak in a pretty good shape. After reading some of the posted msgs in this thread i was actually thinking "it can't be that bad, maybe these folks are just pissed off and are blowing up the issues", and for this m@fi@ i would apologise to you all. After recently talking to some friends in orient who told me about the situation there i realized how wrong i was in my perception. i had been told about the antics of this `richie` character you mention and those of gladys and the only word which could describe what i felt was:DISGUST

M@fi@ suddenly all the low-blows i have read in this thread regarding these characters have seemed all too appropriate. The insults against them seemed only just.
but i would still suggest that at the office you dont have to like them. PANLABAN mo pa rin ang stats mo. business is a numbers game, and if you have the numbers this would be your shield .

mababa starting sa SVI, just not sure of the exact figures. i think 12 lang yata but i may be wrong. But if you're a seller you would more than make up for it in commissions. there are those who earn as much as 10k to 15k regularly on commissions alone.

ako kasi mejo matagal na kaya my pay is a tad higher than most. but thats also a good thing, the longer you stay with the company the higher your value would be.

if you are contemplating on a stint in outbound sales SVI is the best place for this. you will gain the needed training and skills to do phone sales. kumbaga boot camp ito for telemarketing

yes, it's true that the orient branch will be moving to ADB ave, JMT condo (fronting the podium) so i think sa january p **** open *** position co'z they're moving out nga since the HR dept is at the orient.

i just hope that, if ever u get the position, u'd really do good coz sa totoo *** i (personally) don't like the results of whatever their job is :bop:
kelangan nila ng mega pukpok so u can get immediate feedbacks from whatever complaints u have......
somtyms they would say may resolution n sa complaints mo pero wala p rin pala, ewn ko b minsan may timesheet n nga mali p rin computation ng sweldo mo although i know accounting may problem dun pero i know it's hr who's making the corrections or changes with the log in hours!

ask ko *** sa mngmt or HR ng SVI, CPAs b accounting people nyo? manual ba tlaga pagcompute ng sweldo?! :rolleyes:

seriously now. when i was transferred to JMT a few years back i also had the same apprehension. but as i soon found out it was'nt that bad. i actually thanked the stars i was transferred (especially after hearing about all the bad stuff in orient).

the atmosphere in JMT is one that exudes uber professionalism. the circusl-like antics orients management has reportedly displayed in the past is not tolerated in JMT. folks there respect each other. ke tl,sup or agent ka nag-re-respetuhan. i guess you would agree that would be a welcome change for Orient folks right?

and besides this kind of professionalism might actually rub off on the orient folks once they get there.

I just read through a good number of your messages on this thread and like any call center, there are happy people, and there are disgruntled people. I happen to agree that SVI is indeed a good stepping stone if you want to start a career in this industry. A lot of the agents who work for our call center actually came from SVI. And even a number of our top agents came from there and there earning serious money.

and yung mas senior pa sa senior? yung sinasabi mong GF ng taga LAN is a lot more senior then us (im saying "us" since you're not familiar wit em so im assuming you have'nt been with the company that long). they are some of the few agents that are on a monthly rate rather than hourly..

newayz i myself experienced spending a month in the boardroom in orient waiting for a campaign.. kumbaga bakasyon muna. it aint really a ball after a couple of weeks coz it does get so frkn boring.
