Where are the best places to give babies their haircut? My son is 9 months old and needs his first trip to the barber. Any suggestions?
Peace.

I have seen three places but have never tried them. I know there is a kids hair cut place on the 5th floor of Robinsons Galleria. There's also another place in the children's area in Glorietta. Lastly, I heard of a kid's salon in the Rustan's Makati in the Children's area. Hair cuts there cost P220. All these areas have the kids sitting in cars with toys around them so that they're distracted. Good Luck!

Check out Cuts 4 Tots in Glorietta. Misis had our 2-yr-old's 'fro done there last month. They were able to take care of him despite him being extremely [i]makulit[i]. They have their kids in this kiddie-car seats with kiddie shows in every booth. The cut was about 200 pesos.

try the kid's salon at galleria, 4th floor, on the same side as dreamscape. i forgot the name. it's beside the pet shop. it's 250/cut. but with cars as chairs, and the kids can watch barney/or other cds while getting their hair cut.
plus the barbers are really patient with the kids.

I vouch for Cuts 4 Tots. Nathan got his first haircut there. They even offer a certificate with "before" and "after" pictures. :)

this is OT but we have this superstition in our family wherein the first hair cut of the baby should be done by the smartest member of the clan... para daw matalino rin un kid paglaki :D
this was soo funny.. lalo na when i was asked by my cousin to cut her baby boy's hair.. kawawang bata... :D i should be flattered but.. hmmm... ahaha...

at what age did you let your baby have his hair cut? my 4-month old son's hair is getting long and medyo makapal, to the point na sobrang nagiging pawisin na sya and sometimes irritated. can you suggest a good baby salon or any salon na sanay mag gupit ng babies?

I cut my babies hair when he was around 4 months old...i didn't feel the need to bring him to the salon since it was just more of a trim. When he turned 10 months, and wild na talaga his hair... I brought him to this salon in our village that only caters to children and babies.. I forgot the name of the salon but it's in BF Pque. along Aguirre Ave. Over-all it was a pleasant experience for both of us. He even got a certificate that said he had his first haircut at this so and so date and place. I'm sure there are specialty salons around your area that cater to babies and children. Why don't you check the yellow
pages?

I think the name of that BF salon is PaGoofyt.
It's name has made it quite popular!
WandaWits:
There are several kiddie salons around the metro. Just about every mall has one. They are usually clustered with kiddie stores like clothes, toys, etc.
If you plan to cut your own baby's hair, try to do it when he's calm or asleep and use kiddie scissors (the one with a blunt edge) to avoid any poking accident. :) Don't forget to keep the hair you've cut! It's nice to keep for scrapbooking. ;)

My baby had his first haircut when he was 14 month old. It's at Kid's Hair Salon in Robinson's Galleria. The package included a certificate, before and after photos. It cost around 400 bucks. :)

DaNa8: where in galleria is it located? medyo expensive pero ok naman siguro? gusto ko kse yung sanay mag cut sa mga babies & yung talagang worth it kse konti lang naman igugupit nila di ba?

It's beside a petshop near Dreamscape. So semikal *** hair nya after. :)

my son had his first haircut at 10 months at cuts 4 tots at MOA. had 3 more haircuts na at other salons. 2 at sm southmall and this afternoon as festival mall. i can say cuts for tots was the best. they were the cleanest and their staff the friendliest.

My son had his cheapest haircut na at Reyes... sa Cuts 4 Tots kasi, I spend like P300 ata per cut, eh sa Reyes P50 lang (I was so happy, I gave P100)...
anyway, I risked reyes na kasi my son is 2 yrs old na and can sit still na...unlike before na I couldn't risk it so I went to Cuts 4 Tots
sabi ko nga next cut, neighborhood barbero na talaga!!!

Any suggestion for baby haircut salon na may mga cert. din at kung ano ano pang ka -eklabarbahan except for Cuts4tots. My twins are turning 3 at ngayon ko pa lang **** sila balak pagupitan. Kasi I have some kapitbahay na may pagka-"living aircon" at buong pagmamalaki **** nya na doon nya pinagugupitan *** junakis nya don, w/ matching pakita pa tlaga ng certification, gusto ko ngang reguluhan ng frame sa pasko. Ayaw kong lumabas na mangagaya but I am really saving some "first" precious moments ng anak ko. Were living in Manila sana di masyadong malayo. thanks
