ambergris walang bond... ang sistema nila, half lang ng salary mo and ibibigay nila sayo on your first month, pero ibibigay rin sayo yung kalahati on your 6th month. compared to others the amount is not really big. around 3-4k lang.

well ang bond kasi para maging sure ang company na tatapusin mo yung contract that you signed with them. if not, then you'll have to pay a bond. it depends on the company how much. Pero it does not necessarily mean na babawasan yung sweldo mo.:*)

mabibilang mo na lang sa kamay yung mga alang bond. Almost all call centers now have bonds included in their employment contract. tapos dun sa iilan na yun, with the exception of a few - mostly start-up pa lang, or pipitsugin (i.e., low pay, little/no benefits, toxic yung job, pangit yung environment)...

kasi the company will spend money to train you. they have to get their investment back because they are already paying you your salary even while in training.

tsaka isa pa... halimbawa nagtraining ka sa not well known call center para ma neutralize ang accent then umalis ka agad after training... lugi naman sila nun... dahil ikaw lang ang gagamit ng training sa kapag lumipat ka sa mas magandang call ecnter...

When you think about it, they're already getting a huge bargain by underpaying you. And besides, it's their prerogative to train you as it is a specialized business where the needed know-how is not taught in schools.

i'm wondering why people ask about bonds and all...
if you have doubts about the job, the schedule, or other what-have-yous, i suggest don't accept the job. it's simple.
it's just totally useless, not to mention a waste of valuable time, if you don't think you can stay long in a job.

I'm planning to work in a call center pero sana yung walang bond. I'll be working kasi for 3-4 months lang because I'll be leaving for US within April-June.
I badly need to work kasi syempre I need money to buy things I need before I leave and to pay all my debts sa credit card. :-[ Your suggestions will really help..

May non-compete clause naman, stating that a former agent is not allowed to work for a direct competitor (i.e. another call center) within a year of resigntion. Although maraming nakakalusot naman dito, since daming nagresign samin and within a month they're in Sykes, Sitel, Teletech, etc, and most of them are QA people na.

C-Cube does, too. A friend of mine who used to work fir Ambergris didn't get accepted into C-Cube because they know we have a non-compete clause dito sa Ambergris. Pero natanggap naman siya sa Sitel. So it really all depends sa next call center na a-apply-an mo.

it would depend... since in the call center where i am in we dont have a bond. we only have a non compete clause... which states one cant work in the same industry for a year... in my own opinion i dont think they will cancel the effectivity of your bond. because the fact still remains you were employed in their company... you were exposed to confidential info regarding your account and the company... that is just my stand. i dont know if other recruiters have different views than mine. :)

I agree, PS does not discriminate in terms of age. They do check your work experience and competencies - apart from the diffficult exam.. May stock options pa kayo in the long run!
Older people[past 30] seem to be more loyal to the company - my personal observation.

c-cube meron?
BeePeeOOO
Mar 26, 2005, 04:11 PM
Rainfall,
C-Cube has a PHP30K bond that is proportionately reduced as a staff completes a one year employment contract. Its non-compete clause[to my understanding] prohibits working in the same account or an industry competitor of the account[where staff is posted] for a period of six months after resignation.
Please do take note that this non-compete clause is more reasonable as compared to other call centers that bar you from working in the whole "call center" industry[irregardless of account] for a period of one year after resignation/termination. However, if a staff does not complete the training - that person is barred from the whole "call center" industry for one year after termination date.
You will given a "fixed term employment contract"[renewable yearly] as long as the account exists with C-Cube.
That is how I understood the contract when I read and pondered over it last year. I did not sign it due to second thoughts. They have the most difficult set of examinations I have gone through in the BPO industry! They even have a press release that says that their hiring rate is 2 percent. Anyway, if you sign the contract, they have a small class size that will give you a high probability of passing the training! Their HR top officials staff and training officers are quite articulate in having a conversation with - nice people.
Bye the way, they have shower room, sleeping room, and gaming room[sleeping room is a must, I should say!]. You will need those due to the graveyard shift that may sometimes require you to come to work in the early morning hours.
Hope that helps.
Cheers!
