Entry-level salaries would depend on the positions you are referring to. What is your target sample?

Sykes, Asia - 10K (+ 1k voice support allowance,+ meal/transpo allowance, + hazard pay, depending on your schedule and location)
PeopleSupport - 12K (+ meal/transpo allowance)
InfonXX - 10K
Link2Support - 9K (+ night allowance, + proficiency allowance depending on employment status)
eTelecare - 12K (for techsupport, don't know for customer service and don't know their allowances either)
C3 - 11K
GlobalStride - 10K
Salaries are for probationary employees only, upon regularization, siempre may increase. Night differential rate varies from 10% - 30%.

BiggieMac, what OW21 posted here were entry-level salaries of these centers about 2-3 years ago, when mostly, they were starting out. Recently, the salary range is what gu3n1v3r3
posted. You might want to look on this 'cause I myself would like to find out as well.:D

My friend got 17T as a starting salary in Itouchpoint with lots of other bonuses. I think his salary there right now is almost 27T since he was promoted to a shift supervisor.

Itouchpoint and Convergys gives out the highest entry level salaries for those with call center experience. The thing is, is Itouchpoint still hiring? Wala na ako balita dun

Call Centers usually have a continous hiring policy because of various reasons such as there's a high demand for CSRs and of course the time proven fact of high turnover rate of Call Center employees. Why not contact them?

Actually sa SYKES, depende sa project account yung basic salary
10K pero yung iba like yung sa MCI 11K yung sa iba, yung tech support, 12K and this is true: (+ 1k voice support allowance,+ meal/transpo allowance, + hazard pay, depending on your schedule and location)
PeopleSupport - 12K (+ meal/transpo allowance)
INFOnxx - 10K + 3.5 allowance
eTelecare - 12K for techsupport like sa Dell Account plus 1.1K pag graveyard shift ka pero allowed mag overtime kaya mataas gross pay nila. yung mga first few batches, basic salary nila, 15K talaga, pero ngayon, 12K na lang.
APAC Customer Services - 12K basic salary up to 16K depending on your sales volume. outbound sales kasi.
ePacific Global Contact Center - 12K basic salary pero yung taxable lang is yung 9K. the remaining 3K is non-taxable meaning makukuha mo talaga ng buo yun.
may bagong call center, Sterling Global Call Center - 12K basic salary plus SPIF / comission depending on your sales volume. outbound sales din kasi.
Masarap kasing mag outbound sales keysa mag technical support, customer service, or directory assistance kasi rewarding yung salary at mapapatunayan mo talagang magaling kang Call Center Agent.
Thank you po.

Sa outbound naman ng Etel, starting is PhP10T pero as stated above attractive yung night diff & overtime p ay plus a similar "hazard" add-on.

Yun nga lang the US federal government is now cracking down on outbound sales/calls/telemarketers.

hi.. ive worked for 3 call centers already.. etelecare, eperformax and now im working in HSBC..
entry-level:
1. eTelecare Global Solutions = P12,000 + P3000/month(non taxable) transportation allowance.. TSR is P15,000 + P3000/month transpo allowance
2. Eperformax = P13,500 + P100/day transpo allowance and 10% nite diff (I HATE THIS COMPANY)
3. HSBC-HDPP = P14,500 + P1500/transpo (taxable), 20% nite diff. but they give good compensation to those with at least a year of call center exp.. mine is around P18,000 - P19,000 since Ive been in call centers for 2 years now. :naughty:
4. ITOUCHPOINT = P14,000 9entry level) P16,000 ( with exp)
Hope this helps! Ü

but be careful..not all companies giving out g00d salaries, have g00d treatments sa agents nila.... I have a lot of friends from the above-mentioned companies & heard a lot of negative feedbacks. Should have an idea at least on how they threat.....o00pppssss... treat their agents. Para di tayo palipat-lipat ng company.... :blush2:

there are lots, but the question is.... would be the account right for you?
lesson, not all call centers have a specific skill, it depends on what account suited for you. parang ako, i've been in Tech support agent before, when they transferred me to a customer service account like credit info or even sales. i did not excel even if i worked really hard for more than a year in that skill. so since i was the bad apple of that account, they transferred me back to TS in where i excel a lot. & passed promotions after promotions :)

Tungkol sa "threat", ako merong alam na staff who got "pulled-out" of her account because she cried after the verbal abuse of an irate caller. The girl could still work, but in other accounts.
Meron rin akong alam na staff who got terminated for speaking in Filipino when the person was in the call center's washroom/loo/comfort room.

Tingnan niyo rin ang allowances, and productivity incentives and if the metrics set for attaining these incentives are easy to meet inrealtion to the rate of pay for the incentives. Remember, different accounts in different industries with different scope and dimension of work deserve different pay. Tulad ng sinasabi ko palagi, malawak ang breadth ng industries outsourced in the Philippines. Beware of slave driver call centers. Research through the internet thoroughly before you apply!

hi everyone..just to share...if you are lookin for a call center that offers a pretty competitive salary with a friendly and liveable workin environment..then give PeopleSupport a shot...its not that I'm tryin to promote PS here..im actually a former employee there..i left for personal reasons and the company has nothing to do with it..
their HR is excellent..very approachable, nice and professional...this is one call center that thinks for their employees' welfare..giving equal opportunities for everyone...and best of all, a company that practices "OPEN DOOR POLICY"
not to mention their intensive training...most of the people, if not all, there are warm, level-headed, nice, friendly and optimistic..making most of them professional and competent enough for their posts.
im not saying PS is perfect..of course..it has its flaws and blemishes just like any other call centers..but for me...even I already left PS..i will always be forever thankful and greatful for being a part of this superb company..i can't compare it to other call centers..as far as the workin environment is concerned..
so for all the call center aspirants out there..workin at PeopleSupport will be certainly be worth your candle...

i'm starting tomorrow sa isang call center. i got hired less than 24 hours after submitting my resume.
question lang, i don't know if okay tong napasukan ko.
1 month training ang allowance is 15k
5 mos probationary period 15k ang basic, 2k ang meal allowance at 500 para sa transpo, all in all 17.5k, okay na ba ito?
20% night differential
five working days in a week.
more of email and chat support, mga 10% lang daw ang actual calls.
what do you guys think? i don't have any idea kasi kung okay ito compared sa ibang call centers.

kung ito ay SVI connect sa ortigas, you better want to check the background of the company first. the one in paranaque co owned by pldt is SPI
Since you already have an idea, why dont you just share it to us? Sige na pls, kakatukso yung offer e. :D

Hi guys,
I just called this number and was able to speak with Mr. Ramil Lauria, and he told me that somebody posted this and it's not him. He said that the info is fake. It's true that he worked on this company before but the range of the salary is not true. He even asked me to do this on his behalf so everyone is aware of this info. He is very much pissed off because he receives so many text messages and calls about this and he just say same info.
Again THIS INFO IS NOT TRUE. Better have to stop telling people lies for people here are quite serious in looking for greener pastures for their lives.

This is a hoax.. though I did find it funny.
SVI Connect is no longer operating. The number posted by this joker belongs to a friend of mine who is no longer connected with the now closed SVI Connect (since March 2006) and is also not connected to recruitment department in any call center.
To folks looking for a job out there, always verify the information so you won't be lured into these practical jokes.
