ei mga people! RMH people! IM ONE OF YOUR NEW L2s! Ahehe! Im Shotput aka L2 **** ahehehe! So far, I like my stay here!

I read some posts here about issues with the workstation plotting and about team support ek ek... To start, I also came from Etelecare and use to deal with Dell as well dude, pero I find my stay here ok naman so far although wala pa ko kilala aside from our a-bay floorwalkers and training teammates. but its ok!

WELL, as a newbie, what i do is to go early, 2 hours before shift and look for a vacant station. its that easy. once settled, i login to my tools, setup my avaya and headset and then pa-easy easy na lang... until magstart shift.. see.. no problem with workstation.. basta dating ka lang maaga... ahehe!

and also, one guy mentioned that having a team is not worth it... well its ok dude, you learn to be independent saka anjan naman yung floorwalker. clap ka lang pupunta agad sa iyo. one advantage of not being able to be with your designated team is that we get to meet new people... ahehe! l1 man or l2... saka you can ask anyone naman ***** na makatabi mo no... right rmh people?! one big happy family! ahehe!

so to hell with problems with team support and workstation plotting/reservation! hehe! its not even a problem to start with... :p

kung mauna *** ibang inapplyan ko na magbigay ng JO, dun na ***** ako sa kanila. medyo matagal na din ang inantay ko sa RMH, 3 weeks na din lahat lahat pero wala man lang akong pinapang-hawakan na job offer or date of training.

the gaming account is still on the works. from what i heard -- Microsoft is rethinking their plan on moving that account from amber to here because of dismal CSAT scores frmo RMH-India. so 50/50 pa sya as of now... they had a meeting last week with amber peeps about this.

which is the reason you still havent got your job offer. :)

gaming account is in. bilib din ako sa radar mo iceknight,ang galing ng mga sources mo about stuffs kaya lang medyo mali ka lang dun sa "rm-india", sa st.john and surrey kasi yung sablay na stat eh. :D

kakapagtaka ***, sa sobrang dali ng account na yan, sumasablay pa sila sa csat? para sa kahit kaninong may alam. tuloy ba ang training ng first batch for xbox on monday?

dapat kasi, kasama ako dito. kaso may nag interview sa akin nung thursday at 10pm, sabi nung nag interview, para lang daw malaman un kung for accent training pa kami or hindi na. pagkatapos ng interview, sabi niya tatawagan kami within 24 hours kung start na kami on monday. wala ako natanggap na tawag. so iniisip ko hindi pa ako start on monday.

**** ko lang magsigurado. kc kung di ako start by monday with rmh, sa teleperformance na lang ako work. monday 5:30 pm kasi ang binigay nilang starting date para sa akin duon sa TP. unlike sa RMH na medyo alanganin pa din.

i just can't afford to wait anymore (i've waited for them for more than a month already, i've come to the end of my rope)

lolo: the thing is, RMH is short on accent trainers ngayon. if after interviewing all the trainees for xbox and they find that they need to train you accent-wise, that means na maghahagilap sila ng trainer para sa inyo.

one things sure tho: tuloy ang xbox sa RMH.

-- ask sharingan. purple witch or any 'higher' up dito for the real deal kasi this is only speculation on my part. (aside from sources na mejo d 100% reliable. hehe)

they want yata mga hindi na kailangan mag-accent training kasi medyo nagbigay agad ng date si xbox ng launching eh super kulang na sa oras kaya product training agad. if hindi ka na talaga makakapag-hintay, ikaw na bahala but i tell you "patience is a virtue" . may isa pang account na papasok sa september or august .CS and TS din siya *okay*

hey! ganda naman ng reviews nyo about rmh! makes me wanna go there talaga. i also came from etelecare and trend micro. i'm applying here for the L2 tech support position. got my phone interview this afternoon and i'm supposed to show up at the office tom at 3:00 PM. makes me wonder: why 3:00 PM?

anyway, reading the previous posts, ganun pa din ba recruitment/application process? may spelling and active listening tests pa? mahina ata ako sa spelling. hehe.

i'm not from RMH but I worked for another cc which started out with different MS accts, and i guess you know the name of the cc i'm referring to. that cc's accts./clients grew to more than twice or thrice, including the expansion by MS. having MS as a client is a big plus to attract others to do business, RMH might even get to handle other MS products or properties in the future and is not a distant reality. the only hitch is the folks at redmond are very strict with the matrices they set, and MUST be met.

--in communicating without inflection and tone, its hard to understand the sarcasm (or lack of it). so us readers often check sentence construction to get what the poster means.

Level 2 ---> 18,000

the CS are paid 15 but if you level up its 16500 :)

purple_witch: well, i dont know about the others but *** batch namin (and *** isang mas nauna sa amin) are getting kinda peeved. salary disputes, missing OTs sa payslip, new policies na may pagka unreasonable, etc.

emm... NICE emm... ehehehe. basta. nung training kasi namin, we kept on listening and viewing the recorded/monitored calls so I was able to determine how it works. :D (im not really sure tho, so i guess im a bit at risk. hehehe)

bawal na lahat. the only thing you can do sa floor is to take calls. no emails, no browsing, no personal stuff on the floor (books, phones, etc). and they slap a CA for even the smallest things now. :(

so i heard dude..and kung yung issue man e yung mga pasaway, dapat lahat bawal magnet or magsounds or whatever. wala naman sa handbook na agents lang ang bawal diba? nakalagay dun all employees a..may mga tm nga nagdadownload pa ng porn e...

so that might mean na MS will pit RMH and Amber and see who gets the best Service level and csat then?

ang gripe ko *** naman talaga ngayon is the inconsistency with KC. dati sabi nila strictly follow KC. then bec of high incidents of unresolved problems (and low csat), ngayon naman, exhaust KC. pero kahit ano dun, kaming agents pa din ang sinasabing mali.

kaya mejo naasar na ako sa microsoft e. mukha silang pera. :grrr:

Really? I hope so. My friend was called 3 weeks ago for J.O but it was postponed. No word from RMH upto now. Just the same, I'm waiting for my final interview as well. My wishful thinking that the account/training will push through this September.

one pexer i met here was given a job offer last week. according to him training starts on september 5. he signed the contract.

there's just one problem, he already has a job with another call center. same as my case : )

I got a job offer with another company as well, but will start September. But if RMH calls, I may somehow consider it (of course depending on the base pay). Do you guys know the starting pay for xbox account (level 2 tsr)?

LuckyStrike, basically this will just gauge your skills in technical account. You will be given 2 sets of exam for Level 1 and Level 2 post. If you did good in the first exam then you'll get the TS post. If you are better, then you're in for the Level 2 post. If neither, it's just ok, you would still be considered for the CSR spot. Goodluck!

Pero as far as i know, lahat kayo nasa pool na, that's where my boss would take the next set of RTAs for the new accts...so goodluck still...if Xbox is comin by end of this month then we should be hiring na soon. we also need RTAs for Email/chat, they'll be monitored separately na from the TS acct since TS is much too big an acct na to monitor and needs more focus...

ang gripe ko *** naman talaga ngayon is the inconsistency with KC. dati sabi nila strictly follow KC. then bec of high incidents of unresolved problems (and low csat), ngayon naman, exhaust KC. pero kahit ano dun, kaming agents pa din ang sinasabing mali.

i applied yesterday sa RMH and screening process narin kagad then may mga exams na pinakuha, including comprehension and listening skills. sa listening skills daw kami bumagsak, 5 kaming magkakasabay and lahat kami bumagsak. anyway, I'm applying for the email support pero CSR nilagay ko sa application kasi CSR parin naman yung email support diba? pano kaya yun? bakit may listening skills pa sa email support? <RMH_jobs> can you answer my questions? thanks!

they want to test if flexible kayo. hindi naman ibig sabihin na sa email ka ng-apply eh puro email exams ang i-tatake mo. lahat ng applicants tinetest sa phone,chat and email exams.if sa chat ka lang pumasa,definitely hindi ka na ma-hihire :) kahit sa ibang call center,kahit tech support nilagay mo sa application mo,pakukuhanin ka minsan ng mga sales exam. you should be prepared diba, JACK OF ALL TRADES *okay*

yep, sharingan is right. you should be able to manage all the types of support we are offering...sometimes kase pag bagsak service level sa isang queue we tend to transfer people. like now, some of the phone support people are being asked to do chat support for several hours...depende sa need ng site.

I have a friend who applied sa rmh. nakalagay sa ads nila na between 15-18k ang starting, di ba? she passed everything. kaso nung job offer na, binibigay lang is 11k. so, nag-demand siya kahit 13k lang kasi almost two yrs na sia sa industry. di na sila (rmh) nag-reply ever.

Re: 1. That is the reason why we have changed our outsourced accounting firm. We are doing something about the allowances. And that is the way taxes work, your higher basic salary will get bigger taxes. If we did it any other way, we would be breaking the law.

2. The only reason why you are asked to come in even if you are sick is to save you the the trouble and expense of going to medicard-accredited clinic to get your med cert. If you would rather commute to a clinic the next day than spend it resting, that's your choice.

3. Recreational Events are different for each account. Please do not generalize. This depends on your OM's or SDM and your account's budget.

4. You might just not know who to approach. Follow proper escalation procedures. Most of your HR concerns need to go through your supervisor first.

6. Your supervisor has to follow certain procedures before issuing a CITE form. This was discussed during orientation. If you think that he is not doing it right, feel free to approach your Om.

7. Our HR people do not have to be visible on the floor. They don't belong to operations. They have offices on the 5th and 6th floors. You can always see them when you need them in their offices.

well that's why other call centers give a relatively average basic pay but give a lot of allowances that are non-taxable. and as far as i know that's legal, otherwise said callcenters would be out of biz by now (and i know they're not since these are pretty major call centers.)

I was talking about the basic pay only when I was saying that tax deductions are relative to the gross pay. My statement about having a different outsourced firm only pertains to adding allowances that are non-taxable. Perhaps I should've separated the two to make things simpler for you. My apologies.

I never intended to compare our compensation package to any other call center.

Parang I'm having 2nd thoughts about applying here.

I have a cousin who applied here recently. He came in at 10 a.m. and went through a battery of tests and interviews. After one of his interviews which was around 7:30-8 P.M. of the same day, the HR person informed him that he was already in but that he had one last interview with the operations manager at 2 A.M. My cousin said OK lang to wait anyway he's as good as hired naman pala. Btw, the HR person also suggested to him to apply for the outbound sales account because its for immediate hiring daw unlike the DA or inbound CSR positions and because he has very good communication skills daw. So anyway, he came back before 2 AM only to find out that those who were scheduled at around 1:30 hadn't been interviewed yet. He also found out that it wasn't just one but two interviews pa that he's supposed to go through. They eventually called him inside for his interview at around 3:30 A.M. The girl who interviewed him asked him the same type of questions that the others did. Before she closed the interview, she asked him to do a demo pitch wherein he would be calling her to sell a fire extinguisher. He said that this is where he probably failed because he had a hard time thinking of things to say re the product. After the lady interviewed him, he waited for them to call him again for his final interview (supposedly with an American). He was told however that the person had left and that HR would just call him for the re-scheduling of the interview. He was the last of the applicants to be interviewed that morning and was the only one who didn't get a chance to be interviewed by the American. Well, he never got a call from HR so he deduced that he probably failed.

My cousin told me that he didn't regret applying because he wasn't sure of getting in anyway given that he's a newbie in call centers. He only wanted to find out if its really SOP to ask applicants to come at 2 AM for interviews especially if they have been there the whole day already for the other tests? And why did the HR person tell him he was in when it turned out that he wasn't naman pala? Was it just so that he would come back at that time? Lastly, if he failed the impromptu demo during the interview, wasn't that expected given that it had been an extremely long day for him so he probably wasn't as sharp as he was a few hours earlier. Besides, don't outbound sales agents use scripts anyway and never do impromptu pitches to customers?

Anyway, I promised him I would post his questions in this thread so I could enlighten him given that I'm not from this industry either. I really hope this was just a misunderstanding as I would like to try this company out for myself.

i had a worse experience than your cuz. wont go into the details, but in general... it took me 2 months and change to get through the whole recruitment process. pero it was worth it because i landed the job i was aiming for. kasi its up to them kung saan ka ilalagay e. i found out na kaya pala natagalan kasi pinupuno pa yung Level 2 slots for the tech account. hindi ko sinasabi na ok lang yun. i strongly feel that the recruitment process could be better, but lets cut them some slack. kokonti lang sila and they really are working hard, lalo na yung incharge sa tech account, hindi na nakakauwi yun minsan lalo na pag may job fair. anyways, have your cuz call recruitment nalang, they should be able to give him an update on his standing.

umm...to add up lang...yes, maraming centers na ang nagco-conduct ng interviews sa gabi, even early am. that's the time kase na available ang mga managers or OMs...i used to date this OM from another center tapos when he calls me up at home ng mga 3AM naka speaker phone ako tapos he lets me listen in to the interviews he's conducting...funny makinig most of the time. pero you gotta hand it to em, hinde ko keri magpa interview ng 3AM! antok pa ako nun malamang...

May process yan dude. Pagkakaalam ko sa RMH, you'll take the exam muna and you need to pass it then may mga interview na gagawin sila s'yo. If you're techy, I'm sure you will pass the exam dahil sobrang madali lang talaga compared sa ibang pinag aplayan ko! *okay*

@plumpkin: i think you're referring to the initial hiring process. what hardworker7 is referring to is, as he said, internal promotions. for internal promotions, interviews go first. i dont even think there is an exam for that. they'll base it on your metrics and your qualifications.

@hardworker7: anong wave ka? hindi ka pa ba naiinterview? as far as i know they have to accomodate all applicants.

Hello mga RMH pipol!

Binabati ko nga pala ang mga mababait na mga RTAs na palagi kong hinihingan ng e-day at e-out. Nung napadpad ako dyan nakita ko na may batch 1 na pala sa RMH nung telecom account ......Malas ko talaga kung kailan ako nawala sa RMH lumitaw ang telecom account nayun na may upselling.

Ano ba ang patakaran ukol sa mga employee na nag-resign[not forced to resign/terminated]? Kailan ba kami uli pwede bumalik sa RMH.

Binabati ko nga pala si Raymond ng RTA[pare yung account na pinaggalingan mo sa may batch 1 na pala on product training as of now].

this happened to me while i was still with rmh.. guys i just need opinions if what happened was right..

i was an L1 agent and i was on my first week on the floor.. the customer's problem was non-***related. she had problems with her photo software that was preinstalled with her HP pc.. it was an hp software as well.. so my mistake was i went to the wrong path, non-*** hardware rather than non-*** software.. but still the solution was to give hp's customer service no. to the customer.. so i gave her hp's no.. i didn't know that my tl was listening to that call.. she gave me a memo regarding that.. in that memo, my tl gave the supposed correct path that i should've taken.. but i knew that it was not the correct one because i already tried going to that path.. i told my tl that it was not the correct path so we tried going to that path that she told me just to see if it was incorrect as well.. tapos yun, mali nga din sya! i think mas tama pa yung path ko kahit na non-*** hardware yun.. so i was expecting that she would not give that memo to me anymore since we both took the wrong paths.. but hell, she still gave that memo to me and asked me to sign it..

may mga ***** na bobo pa at napaka maepal talagang mga tm. di ko sinasabi na marami nyan sa rmh. kasi isa lang ang kilala kong ganyan dito, chaka L1 tm nga siya. ehehe... kahit saang call center naman meron nun e. pero baka pareho tayo ng tm in mind. babae din siya e. nakita ko nga yung tm na yun sa 7th floor na pinipindot *** up button ng elevator. nampotah! e sa 6th floor pala pupunta. hahaha! kala siguro nya mapapaakyat nya yung elevator pag pinindot nya yung up button.hahaha... ang ***** ***** talaga! at para sa mga hindi nakakaalam, yung elevator that serves our floors can only go up to the 7th floor. kaya impsibleng gusto talaga nya umakyat ng floor. nyahahaha... haaaaaaaaaaay... pabayaan mo nalang yun dude. she (who ever she is) aint worth it. kaya ka ba umalis sa rmh dahil sa bad experience mo na yun? may mga ibang tm talaga that pull the center down e. sobra magpowertrip at walang pakialam sa agents. ako, i just shake it off and move on. ayoko sila pagaksayahan ng panahon. pero d hamak naman na masmarami ang ok na tm. Ü

The only reason why you are asked to come in even if you are sick is to save you the the trouble and expense of going to medicard-accredited clinic to get your med cert. If you would rather commute to a clinic the next day than spend it resting, that's your choice.

i dont mean this personally dude, but that is the most dumbass excuse i've ever heard (even worse if its actually a friggin rule). if you actually have an employee whose sick you expect that person to go to work? the reason WHY that person isnt going to work is because the person is SICK. you dont have to be a doctor to understand that, just some god given common sense would suffice.

but really, you should treat your employees better. you should keep in mind that these are PEOPLE and not CATTLE.

I've built big hopes sa RMH noon. Pero sa ngayon, masasabi ko na isa ako sa magsasabi na dapat turuan ang mga RTA ng RMH na mag-emphatize sa mga agents! Pag tatawag ka to call in sick... sasabihin agad, ANONG QUE!!? as in alang paki ***... they don't care kahit na siguro magkanda ubo ubo ka na, papapsukin ka pa rin. Sa mas maigi pa na wag ka na tumawag at magpaalam.

Just wanna confirm if VONAGE's support is already being handled by NCO-RMH? Coz we are planning to put up a small call center for a couple of webhostng companies abroad and we found vonage the easiest and cheapest.

By the way, I also worked in NCO-RMN... MSN Techsupport Level2 but had resigned coz I received a job offer from my previous boss. @PolicyRaider: AMEN to that broh! to treating the agents better. pero depende rin yan sa TM. yung TM ko just last week pinauwi ako kasi i had a family issue to attend to. humindi ang RTA pero wala rin sila nagawa. the last word belongs to the TM's. i also have a friend na pinag "etime" or the equivalent ng TM niya kasi may sakit, kahit queuing.

yep, that's right. the RTAs are restricted in a sense in giving e-time and e-out. of course we have to make sure that it's possible to give em without putting the SLs in line. if it's available, you don't even need to ask. if it's not possible, then it's the TM's call na if they'll ask the rep to logout or what. same as the nurse, they can only send people home if they're sick. if hinde ninyo naiinitindihan ang rules sa company and how nagwowork ang system, i'd suggest alamin ninyo and wag puro reklamo lang.

share ko lang, i've been with the company for 2 years. 3 months from the time i hit production i was for termination na. why? because of absences. was sick with pharyngitis for a week, was under medication of course. then i was able to work for a week.then i had stomatitis naman, and had to stay clear of the office kase nakakahwa daw sabi ng doctor. then a few days after going back to work bumalik pharyngitis ko. you can imagine na halos wala akong ipinasok sa isang buwan...the OM wanted me out. i knew they can't do that kahit hinde ako regular employee at that time cause i've got all the med certs then, and policy states that as long as may medcert, *** several days na absences would be considered one occurence lang. therefore, 3 occurences lang ako and not subject for term...2 weeks before my regularization, i got promoted. then regularized...know the rules. play it safe. the rules CAN protect you, if you'd take the time to know em...

@PolicyRaider:, i'm really glad you found a company that's at par with your ideals...next time though, i'd appreciate it if you'd ask around first before throwing accussations. after all, the RTAs can NEVER send people home unless e-out is available...something, which unfortunately is NOT available most of the time for L2s.

but really, you should treat your employees better. you should keep in mind that these are PEOPLE and not CATTLE.

I've built big hopes sa RMH noon. Pero sa ngayon, masasabi ko na isa ako sa magsasabi na dapat turuan ang mga RTA ng RMH na mag-emphatize sa mga agents! Pag tatawag ka to call in sick... sasabihin agad, ANONG QUE!!? as in alang paki ***... they don't care kahit na siguro magkanda ubo ubo ka na, papapsukin ka pa rin. Sa mas maigi pa na wag ka na tumawag at magpaalam.

RecruitNCO4. The only reason why you are asked to come in even if you are sick is to save you the the trouble and expense of going to medicard-accredited clinic to get your med cert.... Come on, who have to know what happens sa totoong buhay. Okay yung sinabi mo, if that happens sa floor. Pero contrary to what you say... Pag nasa office ka na, kahit unfit to work ka na from the nurse, basta queieng, hindi ka pauuwiin... Akala ata ng nasa management, mga robot ang mga agents sa RMH eh. tsk tsk!



oh, and just so everyone knows, we ask for people's queue kase we have to send an email to all the OMs, TMs and SMEs regarding the absentee calls we get, and we need certain information as per the tracker that was given to us bt the OM. sorry we need to ask... :confused:

hu-***? sure ka na may unfit to work from the nurse? baka naman 1 hr rest lang nakalagay kaya hinde pwede mag-logout. cause dear, once we get an UTW from the nurse, and recommendation says "sent home" "1 hr/30mins/2 hrs rest" we can't do nothing...have it signed by any TM, give the form to us and logout. do what you wanna do. it's noted. done.

if anyone experienced that, bring it up with the TMs or the RTAs will yah. hinde pwede un...unless, walang reco from the nurse...ibang usapan na yun...ano nga naman gagawin namin e hinde ka naman pinapagrest or pinapauwi... :rolleyes:

Just wanna confirm if VONAGE's support is already being handled by NCO-RMH? Coz we are planning to put up a small call center for a couple of webhostng companies abroad and we found vonage the easiest and cheapest.

i'm sorry but i'm too lazy to read everything from the previous pages. i would really want to know (the truth) if working here is worthwhile. i'm previously under training in another call center. although i'm still enjoying my stay there, i've been hearing that our what our company offers is kinda low compared to other centers like yours. that's why i'm planning to apply here. my current center has no bond so i think it's not a problem. but frist, i would really like to know (or maybe tips/hints will do) your recruitment process and the work environment in this company before i put myself in your boat. i would gladly appreciate your insights and knowledge about this company.

Yes Maam, sure ako na may unfit to work from the nurse. My friend showed me the letter from the nurse. When my friend gave it to his TM, sagot pa sa kanya.. Wrong timing daw dahil queuing... Imagine, this guy went to the office, nanlalata, namumula ang mata. Pero thinking it'll be easier kung pupunta nga sya clinic and unfit to work, at last walang hassle to get the Med Cert di ba? Pero, un... auto-in.

I have nothing againt's RTA, I know you guys have your own jobs to do. Siguro nga TM, siguro nga agents.. kahit san may ganun, kahit san may problema.

Correction, I'm not complaining... Siguro nga you guys just basically need to open your eyes.... open your ears. Hindi lahat ng AKALA nyo, or PAGKAKAALAM nyo, yun na... this is not what happening in the real world... Kumbaga, It just happens sa PELIKULA... If I must say. This is not an accusation, this is the truth. Whether it's RTA, TM, OM or whoever... Ang point dun, may sakit na't lahat para ka makapagpaalam na hindi ka papasok or hindi mo kaya, ang dami mo pang dapat daanan, may sakit ka na,. sakit pa ng ulo para magpaalam na may sakit ka.

^ hu-***?~ deadma yung TM? pwede naman diretso na siya sa RTA after pa-sign. point ng UTW is that ma-formalize lang lahat. we ask them to have ANY TM sign it to make sure lang that someone from OPS is aware that they're logging out since the form is apssed on to HR/payroll...tsk! tsk! sorry to hear that...i'd make sure every single RTA knows na dapat i-accept without questions ang UTW forms as long as with recommendations...
