just my 2 cents.

Thanks

Anyone interested to apply as a Sales Rep?

Link2Support was recently acquired by Synnex and we have new accounts coming in that would need people with call center experience in tech and sales.

It's both inbound and outbound.

We have a very competitive compenben package starting from the basic 17k plus allowance and other incentives.

If you are interested, send me a PM so that I could give you the email address where you can send your resumes.

Be a part of the pioneer group. ^^

sa akin lang sa mga na applyan ko na callcenter masasabi ko parepareho lang naman style ng interview yung iba pinaiikot lang. just be yourself as if your having a casual conversation checkout callcentervet thread on how to handle yourself during interviews the Do's and the Dont's. as for the exam practice on your typing skills english grammars.

@ii..ii- anu ba position na inaaplyan mo? well, merong written and oral exam to check your comm skills. then, merong katakot-takot na technical exams. ang daming part eh. mga 3, 4 or 5 ata yun. i almost forgot na. typing exams, meron din but if you failed, ipaparetake naman sa iyo agad yun. kahit di mo masyado masagot yung technical exams, ok lang. i think medyo maluwag naman ata sila sa mga di masyado makakasagot ng technical exams. basta galingan mo sa oral exams!!!

pang - revive lang RMH thread - isang spicy story:
:rotflmao: :naughty: :D

kakadismaya naman yung isang accent trainer dito na hindi daw lilipas ang 10 minutes during their class na hindi babanggitin any topic about sex. nung minsan, naasiwa daw yung isa sa mga trainees at tinanong sya, "why do you always talk about sex?"

sagot daw nya "wala naman, i just thought that it would be a way to break off the ice, para maka pag relax tayo para hindi puros serious training" :bop:

ok lang sana kaya lang pati sex life at preferences nya kinukwento nya. sabi ng isang trainee "kailangan pa ba nyang sabihin na favorite time of day nya to do it is early morning, kasi daw mga call center agents work daw at night so wala na time to do it at night pero favorite naman nya morning daw kaya ok lang"

also, he enjoys torturing trainees and applicants, he brags one story sa trainees nya. nasa elevator daw sila nung kinuwento nya na may napaiyak daw syang applicant during a call simulation. may tinanong daw kasi sya na wala sa available info or data, nung tinanong nya at hindi nakasagot yung applicant sa sobrang nerbyos na din siguro, lalo pa nyang pinahirapan by asking a lot of other questions na hindi related sa product. umiyak ang applicant pero instead of pacifying her, nag irate-iratan pa daw sya. tawa pa sya ng tawa nung nag kwe-kwento sya about this incident. mala-sadista pala eto... *peace*

eto pa, gusto pa yata ng sexual favors (pero pure speculation lang 'to) para makapasa sa training. one friday (just last june '07), inannounce nya sa class na assessment na nya later that evening tapos may konting party sila after to celebrate. he said two people have failed, yung isa he is still considering dahil pwede pa naman daw pagbigyan pero yung isa "miserably failed" daw because of absences. ok, walang question about dun sa nag fail because of absences.

that night, isa isa silang kinausap tapos yung isang nag fail kinausap nya, ok daw lahat ng exams nya, oral, written, pasado daw lahat pero ang hindi nya nagustuhan e yung attitude - so may attitude problem daw si trainee. sabi ko nga ay talagang malaking factor ang attitude.

trainee (no.1) asked kung what she did wrong. the trainor said "remember the time na i was discussing in front, you were sitting in front of me, you stood up and went at the back then you talked to your friends"
the trainee explained, "i was just getting a pen and some paper to take down notes but my friend asked me a question so i answered her but i did go back to my table afterwards"
trainor said "i dont remember because i was too upset already that time" and then he wrote the word RESPECT sa buong white board. masama ang loob ng natanggal na to kasi he emphasized several times na ok lahat, pasado kaya lang yung nga daw ginawa nya. sabi nga nya, yung iba nga sa class, nag te-text pa sa harap nya pero di nya pinupuna. she commented, na she did not know that he was referring to her when he wrote the word "respect" sa board and she said that he should have called her attention right then and there na she was doing something wrong so that she could have known and corrected it immediately and not do it again pero ang sagot ni trainor e, "I was too upset na that time" (no second chances pala sa sensitive na trainor na 'to)
isa pa daw, ayaw daw ni trainor yung introduction ni trainee nung first day nila which was "im -- years old, single but happy"

this trainee is really pretty, looks like zsa zsa padilla and the trainor was very silent daw during their one on one as if waiting for her to say something... maybe to plead???

another incident, isang pang trainee (no.2) nya na nag work before as a reporter sa GMA (also a graduate from UP) kept noticing na mali mali ang pronounciation nya ng words (accent training eto diba) so pinopoint out nya "hey, -----, i think you pronounced it wrong" to which the trainor would reply "ok, ok, please stand up and tell me how it should be pronounced." the word was "circumstances" at that time, when he pronounced it the right way, trainor said "yeah, yeah, you're right, sorry about that, there are just too many things on my mind right now"
this trainee told him "we are here to learn the correct way (to say the words right) and not to confuse ourselves" to which he would say "yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry about that"

sa inis nung trainee nag resign sya.

etc, etc... madami pa silang kwento pero this will take a whole page...

i suggested na mareklamo sila pero di naman alam kung kanino mag rereklamo and besides feeling nila trainees pa lang sila at namimiligro ang employment nila dito sa RMH. anybody knows kung kanino pwede mag reklamo? or is there such a thing as ireklamo ang accent trainer?

honestly, more than 2 years na ko dito pero di ko din alam kung kanino pwede i-address 'tong ganitong situation.

this is a case of power tripping to the max!

ive been calling payroll again..and for the nth time..nobody's answering their extension. Ive been calling last week and it seems like they have some issues regarding answering phonecalls. heck.

i just want to ask if anyone of you knows when is the BEST/RIGHT time to get my back pay. Without hassels or waiting.. (if that is possible) though, it is verified that my back pay was already processed. All I need is the correct day of the week and time of day.

i just want to confirm if it's:

Mondays - Fridays
1pm - 6pm

?????

Please, please i need confirmation. i want to get my back pay asap. thanks for those who would be replying.

Welcome back to the light!!! (after resigning HAHAHAHAH)

Got my backpay last year around 4-6pm (or 1pm if you want to encash the check ASAP at iBank Quezon Ave by 2-3pm) on a weekday, all you need is a CURRENT (2007) cedula and a valid ID to get into ELJ for securing a Visitor's ID.

The whole process shouldn't take 30 minutes (if the check is already available, which is at the earliest 1 month after completing your clearance) and request a copy of the items included in your backpay for future reference. GOOD LUCK! =)

For your info guys....

If you're going to apply in RMH usually it's a 1 day process. I went there around 10 am, took all their exams and finished arnd 3 am for the job offer. It was my first job and the first call center that I went to, to apply. Luckily I got accepted as a Customer Service Representative for their MSN Account.

It's not a good sign if they'll tell you to wait for their call because there is a big chance of not getting hired. But there were some instances when they called people to go back for the final interview/job offer. If I were you, don't just wait. Continue looking for a job.

However... if they will call you, grab the opportunity. They offer higher salary compared to other companies. Also RMH is a good training ground but you have to make sure that you will be focused and that you'll work hard since it is easy for them to kick people out.

FYI... I've talked to a lot of "call center veterans", and they said it's really hard to get in, in RMH. Most of them tried, a lot of times but, they failed. It is a tedious process but you have to be patient. From where I am right now, most of their top agents came from RMH and people were saying that we speak differently compared to other experienced agents who came from other companies.

But like what I've said you have to be focused and you have to work hard because they can kick you out during voice and accent training, product training orany time while you're in a-bay/production. Most of the agents that were hired, were kicked out after a month or two. Lucky for me I was able to stay there for 6 months then, I resigned because of my TM who's a b**** (most of my team mates did the same).

Still I would say RMH would be a great help to anybody when it comes to improving one's self. :bashful:

This is soooo true. Magandang training ground ang RMH and even though I had to resign because of issues w/ the management, I am proud to say na product ako ng call center na ito. I worked here for 3 years and when recruiters see the name NCO/RMH sa resume ko, they get impressed. Pero, let me stress na I went through all of the hiring and training processes. Yung ibang agents kc dyan didn't take accent training at all lalo na nung nag mass hiring sila.

secret na yung LOB. hehe
Sayang nga eh, wala kaming accent training.
3rd month na namin sa Aug 1, so far the
experience is fun. Mababait mga co agents
except for former t2's. hehe

Tama si xps_inspiron , madali lang acct. So far
wala pa naman akong ma isheshare na traumatic
experience sa isang customer.

Maganda dito sa rmh, i'm loving it here. ;)

Kamusta mga kapwa kong manggagawa sa callcenter!

pasensya na, off-topic lang...I just wanted to take this opportunity to address a personal matter in a public way. Mejo inappropriate pero pagbigyan nyo na ako pls. hehe

I'm looking for a girl, her name is Ann (not entirely her real name, last name withheld), team leader/sup sya sa xbox. She came from MSN b4, then i think she resigned and then she went back. Lean, quiet and very competent with work. Matagal narin sya sa RMH and she's been thru a lot. Those who've been with RMH for a year or so would've probably experienced similar experiences. But this very fine young lady managed to overcome non-work related issues as well as problems with the company... kaya saludo ako dito.

I have a big favor to ask from you guys...If you see her, could you reply to this post telling me how she is (if she looks happy or stressed, if she's doing well). And if you know her, could you do the following for me pls...

1. Pls tell her I said thank you.
If not for her, i wouldnt be where i am now. I'm very grateful for the sacrifices she's made. I could give my whole 13th Month to her and it wont be enough. Don't get me wrong, this is not about money, it just shows how much i appreciate what she has done for me. I am forever grateful.

2. Pls tell her im sorry.
I was a stupid jerk who doesnt know how to take care of what's important. I cannot bring back the past, it caused a lot of pain. But i learned from it and im sure she did as well. No excuses. For what its worth, im sorry.

3. Pls tell her i still think of her.
I still wonder how she's doing, if she's eating well and in good working conditions. She's still the subject of my dreams, most of it. I always catch myself hoping that I bump into her one of these days and have a nice, decent conversation over a cup of coffee.

4. Pls tell her im still here, and I wish her well.
I will always give a hand whenever she needs it. I will drop everything in a heartbeat to help her. Please tell her that im happy for her, that she deserves to be happy. Her successes are well deserved. I wish her well and i dont intend to put her in harm's way, and im not doing this to make her life complicated. Please tell her that whatever happens, I will always be here for her.

I know what im doing is a step short of stalking (or is this stalking already?), but im doing this hoping that I could settle the storm in my heart. I wish one day i could settle whatever it is that needs to be settled.

There's so many things to say, but i guess i'll save it for later.

Thank you, reader for taking this time to consider my request. If this reaches the intended audience, you effort will be very much appreciated.

If this reaches the intended audience, you effort will be very much appreciated.

hello,
it took me 3 whole minutes to think kung sino *** girl...and i know who she is..im no longer with rmh and sad to say, d ko masabi syo kung ok lang sya or what...

ka-team mate ko sya (if im not mistaken), d ko sya ka-close but i can say na yeah, she's been through a lot...let me guess....ikaw *** L2 noh?..kung tama ang hunch ko, you would understand what im saying agad...

kung ikaw nga *** L2 na tinutukoy ko, i would like to assume na you're sorry na for what happened ayt? mahirap para sa isang girl na preggy, na kelangan na nga dumaan sa mood swings tapos kelangan pa harapin ang "jerk" nyang significant other...

tama ba ako?...hindi po ako nakikialam ha...pero nung nsa rmh ako..i was happy to learn na naging TM sya ng XBOX after nya magresign sa TS dept...im happy to learn na she's moved on career-wise..

Thank you, tjac19. I appreciate that. It's ok that you say these things, and hindi ka po nakikialam. It was my initiative to bring this publicly, so i don't mind.

Hindi po ako yung L2, and im not sure who L2 is. In fact i've never worked with RMH b4. I'm working with PeopleSupport for almost 3 years and she's the reason why i got into this industry.

I'm just a friend who have known her since she was 15, who stuck with her thru think and thin. Unfortunately i had to learn things on my own, which caused significant amount of pain, that we had to part ways.

But im better now. And im only hoping that the next time i bump into her, wala ng awkward moment. That whatever happened in the past stays in the past. It helped us learn valuable lessons and brought us to where we are now.

I wish her all the best...

and all the best to all of you as well!

Thanks again.

ive been calling payroll again..and for the nth time..nobody's answering their extension.

First off, I did not come here to merely flame. I'm doing this as a mere reminder of OUR previous conversation wherein you said you would let both of us live in peace. But since you, my dear A, have been persistent enough to actually stalk her again, I have to make things clear to you once and for all.

Secondly, I'd like to know what you HOPE to accomplish by doing this. Do I have to file a restraining order or do I have to personally restrain you myself?

Thirdly, you want to know some facts, I will tell you myself.

1.) When you say it's not about money, are you talking to people who actually know the whole story or to people who are gullible enough to actually believe YOUR version of the story. I'm sure your 13th month pay is not enough. Rent, furniture and pocket money for a prolonged period of time while you abused her repeatedly is simply beyond economics. She is, was and will always be a good woman and you took advantage.

2.) You want to tell her you're sorry, yes? We'll we both know you are. You have been telling her this for the past few years. And like I said previously WE had a conversation about this. WE KNOW YOU'RE SORRY AND YOU LOST YOUR CHANCE A LOOOOONG TIME AGO.

3.) She is alive and well and she prefers that you do not contact her. Your attempts are futile. It is not only offensive but insulting to me. Please be a man and honor what we have previously discussed. It's over my dear A. I am here.

4.) She perfectly believed in you before when you said those things i.e. you'd be there, you'd drop everything in a heartbeat, etc. Sadly, I too have heard all these sweet nothings muttered over and over by some bozo who suddenly decides to leave when he's found another "object" of temporary affection. It won't work this time.

Now for an addendum:

- We are getting married and soon.
- We are moving elsewhere.
- And lastly, once we have moved, she will not have to work a single day of her life again (if she chooses) because I will make sure that she is treated like a queen. She has sacrificed and suffered alot more than she should have. She deserves to be treated royally.

Do not get me wrong, I have had my own share of mistakes in the past and I never would even dare wash my hands of these. I will admit to them fully and suffer the full brunt of my actions (even her constant bickering :hmm: .) I'd be spending the rest of my life trying to erase all those tear tracks I 've made on her face.

You have lost. It IS over. Let her live in peace. She no longer needs ghosts of her pasts haunting her every so often.

Take it like a man, my dear A. Straight up. Grin and bear it. Or is that too much to ask of you?

PS: I have long been a pacifist with a short fuse. But if I have to, I will gladly "make you understand" in person. Lay off it and move on or I will find you.

I assume you didn't know we both left the company for a brief period of time. She wanted to come back and when she did, I pushed her too much actually until she became the first agent to become a TM in that account. Pushed her again until she became one of the most efficient people I know. Showed her how to shut off her emotions (partially, though she really can't) and eventually be in her own element.

No, I wasn't "sorry na" after 2 years in hiding, my only regret is I had to make her suffer for s short amount of time and am still making amends for it. I pretty sure I'm never going to hear the end of it from her. But that's perfectly fine with me.

Yes, I was a jerk and I admit to it. But I am a perfectly happy jerk who's about to get married so thanks. ^^

PS: I can't wait for the next mood swing season to happen. This time, I'll be ready. And I hope it's a boy. :bashful:

Which is better? Xbox360 or Amazon-us? I'm really confused... I was hired as TSR of xbox360 for halo3 but due to ramp down we are transferred to Amazon as CSR. We have the same salary and they said we will return to xbox360 on december23 but if we wish to stay at Amazon-us then we could stay... My dilemna is... should I stay or should I go with xbox360? Please help...

cheewawa
Dec 12, 2007, 11:50 PM
Here's the catch:
Amazon:
Advantages:
warmer people;morning shift(but operation is still 24hrs so there's a possibility that my shift might change);I can say that I'm from the Philippines; most of the customer's are from A/B class but I still get some irate callers

Disadvantages:
Complicated tools compared to xbox(I think because I'm still new);I need to e-mail/call back the customer if I promise that I will contact them after finding a resolution with their concern;Sometimes transfer is usually done by email; I really need to multi task because most of the calls have different issues; Hard to escalate sup calls because of limited supervisors; Need to review/read the updates(a lot of them ^_~);Higher metrics (I used my 10minute break just to document and I tend to have an overbreaK); Queueing because of the holiday season

Xbox360:
Advantages:
User Friendly tools(yeah because it's microsoft); I'm a compsci grad and i like troubleshooting; I can use my break to take a nap; there's no need to call back/email the customer; If the customer says the magic word("Can I speak to your Sup/Manager") I can easily transfer them to Tier2 and tier2 also handles email and outbound calls; If my shift ends, I didn't have to worry about following up on my previous calls; Most calls have the same concern, that I can just copy paste and make a ref# immediately. 15minutes AHT. Lower Metrics compare to Amazon.

Disadvantage:
What if there's another ramp down... there is still a possibility that I will change an account again(but OM said they will not transfer us again..hmm); Congested people on the floor(low growth opportunity since there are really 'good' agents) when I say good... it can ALSO be good looking or good connection... Most customers are irate callers but still tolerable. I can't say I'm from Phil...

....and tomorrow, my TM will need my answer if I will stay or go... DEAL or NO DEAL... help....

mrsdonut: Sabi nila mas madali pa nga ang amazon uk compare sa amazon us. I'm from amazon us pero nakikita ko may similarity (parang pareho talaga) din naman ang tools na gamit ng amazon uk. I don't know bakit nasabi nila na mas mahirap sa amzn us kesa amzn uk.

My husband is going to be the new manager for the Spanish Collections account. He'll be officially joining NCO next week. He is not pinoy and is curious to think what the employees think of NCO. He is inquiring about the working conditions of NCO. Is it a good environment to work for? Are there any negativities, problems and complaints he should know about? Is the company fair to their employees? Would appreciate your responses. Thank you.

I'm thinking how can i go back to NCO! i went awol months ago but i don't wanna end up in my last account which sucks and the client sucks as well i need not mention his name coz this client doesn't even talk all this person does implement his own set of rules. He really doesn't care about his employees all they care about is how to get the money that's one of the reasons i left and my previous product trainer from another accnt warned me about it indirectly.

in my experience, pag pasado ka sa final o initial, right after ng interview sasabihin nila you're for job offer na or you've passed.bibigyan ka na ng sked sa signing of contract/next interview and orientation.

to anyone with RMH: i was at elj bldg. yesterday for my test and interview, fortunate enough to pass and i was told that i have to undergo training somewhere in katipunan and i'll just wait for someone who'll call me up...my query is how long is this training will be and am i going to get paid for it? how much a day would it be?

Apr 16, 2008, 06:12 PM
^ wow.. katipunan na ang training?

training depends on what account you will be in.. ako nuon sa msn.. 1 week accent, 2 weeks product.. and then the 1 week abay period..

kapag within the training period, pay is about 500php per day.. then, kapag nasa floor na, *** nasa contract na pay na ang ibabayad nila sa u...

teka, i've resigned a couple of months ago pa.. ganito pa rin ba?

Well those in the collections do get good bonuses especially if they exceed their quotas. Yung magagaling mangolekta nakaka 30K bonus daw on top of their salaries. Pero siyempre it is hard work to collect debts.

can anyone enlighten me about this?
I was at elj bldg last tuesday april 15 about 1pm.
I passed the listening exam, reading comprehension and during the group interview were down to 6 peeps. It was at this point that the interviewer asked us to tell something about ourselves for 1 minute and another 1 minute for his own query. After that the interviewer left us and told that he'll be back in 5 mins after his assessment. Someone came after 5 mins and he told me to follow him and told me that i was only the one who passed the group interview. He then gave me a flyer and i was told to attend a training and he said that it is only what he could do for the moment. Upon reading the piece of paper it's about Word Class Learning Center located at Katipunan.
I will then have to wait for their call when the training about it will commence. He also mentioned that after my training in Katipunan i'll have to report back to NCO. I thought all the while that this is the actual training but i am wondrin why i have to attend a grammar, accent neutralization and business writing and communication training. I am now at a lost what's gonna happen next. I'm also confused if I really did make it last wednesday. If so, why are they sending me to katipunan? I hope current peeps from NCO with gracious hearts, if they won't mind, help me out with this. I need to know what's in store for me.
Thanks a lot....

for those who wish to be in collections you need to pass the exam for you to be a certified collector which is required by american law. getting a job offer is just the beginning. collecting debts is another thing. but the incentives are rewarding if you can collect.

I had a fantabulous and magnificent experience with this company - the NCO. I was at the SM Clark last Sunday (April 20) to meet a college friend. we both graduated from UP Pampanga. Then i go online to check my inbox (yahoo) for any messages i might have received. Jobstreet had sent me an invitation to apply at NCO Group for Team Leader position in Clark. I was hesitant at first since im currently working as a QA Team Lead (Teleperformance). But out of curiosity i still click some tabs on the ad and sent my application for the position online. Then me and my friend parted ways around 1am (april 21) because i still have work at 4am (Teleperformance). Then an HR representative called me to have my initial interview (yes! at 1am). i was hesitant at first to believe that this guy is conducting an interview since he is using a mobile phone. He told me that is the company mobile phone. I asked him if he's comfortable to speak with me since i was at Dau Bus Terminal that time. He said yes! We had a struggle talking to each other since there were noices on my background and i can barely hear him. We finished talking over the phone and he invited me for another interview with the Operations Manager at 1pm (April 21 - yes! Same day!). So after my shift at Teleperformance i went straight to ELJ building for my appointment. I had like a 45minutes Operations manager. People from Clark site actually called me on my phone. then later at 4pm i got the job offer. i will be starting this May 5.

This is a cool experience for me. I was phoned in, invited for an interview, and got the job all at the same day. I you guys gonna ask me for my basic rate? it is pretty better than my current sallary. i wasnt expecting it since i will be working in Pampanga. But my package is good. with overtime (which is not always given to members of the support team), free meal, allowance and benefits. I am so excited working here.

RE: Resignation Letter for *************

Dear ****,

It is with the greatest satisfaction that I am informing you of my resignation effective thirty (30) days from now on 14 January 2006.

Why am I resigning? I believe the more appropriate question is, “How could I not resign?” or, “Why didn’t I resign sooner,” or even, “Why did I ever take this job in the first place?” Since it would take more time and effort than I am willing to spend listing all the reasons for my resignation, I will be listing only my major grievances. They are the following:

(1) The company is incapable of meeting its basic responsibility of paying me right.
(2) The company treats its agents as machines instead of human beings.
(3) The company does not provide the proper tools, facilities, and resources that we require as agents to fulfill our function as technical troubleshooters.

For the first point, I have never been paid right by this company. Despite the fact that I have filed repeated and numerous disputes, the company has seen fit to ignore the hours of work that I have rendered. I am not the only one experiencing this problem and I would like the company to consider what it does to the morale of its agents whenever this happens. When we are not paid right, we have to look for other ways to compensate for the company’s incompetence so we can cope with daily expenses and pay our bills. Add to this the fact that the company has the sheer and utter gall to demand that its agents render Mandatory Overtime (without sufficient notice) on a daily basis when it cannot even pay them right. Mandatory Overtime definitely does not equate to Mandatory Pay in this company. This, I suppose, is only reasonable since it cannot even correctly compute the Regular Workdays or pay the basic salary, much less any overtime rendered.

For the second point, I know of no other company that asks its agents to render Mandatory Overtime on a daily basis. Also, there are new policies and procedures implemented almost every week which leads me to wonder if the company even knows its own mind or is capable of making a decision and sticking to it. While I understand the need for a process update, one has to give a certain procedure a chance and enough testing time to see if it proves effective before implementing a new system which, in turn, will be changed a bare few weeks later. Add to this the fact that the information dissemination process appears to consist entirely of floorwalkers shouting certain announcements for certain things such as emerging issues, mandatory overtime, and the like. This is by no means an efficient procedure since agents who are on call are distracted from their customers and thus cannot focus on what their customers and the floorwalker is saying. That is, of course, if the agents are even present at their stations and are not on break or lunch. Thus, you cannot fault agents for their lack of awareness of certain updates when this is the favored method of communication. Also, many of my fellow agents have been accused by workforce that they are lying when they say they are not trained for a particular medium or that they are on Aux 6 because they are answering e-mail service requests. It is not simply enough that we are supporting mediums and issues that we were neither fully trained (or, in some cases, not even trained at all) nor getting full support for, we are also being accused of being liars. We are already exhausted from the stress of troubleshooting difficult issues. Add to this the additional demands of rendering mandatory overtime everyday and the demoralizing attitude of workforce towards us and I believe this accounts for a large percentage of the unusually high attrition rate.

For the third point, I accepted this position because I was assured that I would be answering only e-mail messages only to find myself taking in calls a month later. Suddenly, I find myself supporting mediums that I have not received sufficient training for, not to mention supporting new services such as MSN Web Messenger, Messenger for Mac, and the like. I also find it laughable that we are supporting Messenger for Mac when there is only one Mac station on the floor and in a very remote area at that, not to mention that only Subject Matter Experts can log in to the Mac and that it doesn’t even have DSL connection. This is particularly trying for those on the mid-shift since none of us have ever encountered a SME on our shift. This company has the worst facilities that I have ever seen from the air-conditioning system (or lack of it) to printing and photocopying equipment (or lack of it), not to mention the utter lack of certain basics common to other call centers such as free coffee. Of course, the basic things that we need to fulfill our function as technical troubleshooters are not even reliable. If the tools are not down, they are slow. If they are working, we are not allowed access to them. If the tools are upgraded, they work for the worse and should actually be called downgrades. Needless to say, I believe we should start troubleshooting our own issues before we even have the nerve to start troubleshooting our customer’s concerns.

I do not think that you even realize what you are losing in me as an agent the same way you did not realize what you were losing in other agents. The same way you do not realize what is driving your agents away. In my previous company, the Operations Managers and the American clients themselves held monthly formal meetings with agents to discuss issues on the floor for company-wide policies and account-specific standards respectively. This was aside from their informal one-on-one talks with us. They gave us better tools, higher pay, and higher tax-free allowance. Without our even asking for it, they also gave us higher incentives, better prizes and giveaways, special events, a shuttle service that would pick us up during storms, and a host of other things. In this company, I do not see any effort from upper management to understand the issues and demands that they are placing on their agents who are the backbone of operations and who bear the brunt and the blame for everything.

For an organization that has customer satisfaction as its main target, I find myself wondering if the company has ever asked itself or really done something about agent satisfaction. If you ask the agents on the floor, a great majority are staying because they believe they have no other options or that this is the best they can make of a bad situation. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I am not your average agent. An average agent doesn’t finish 45 to 60 service requests a day. An average agent doesn’t work 72-hour work weeks. I have other options and, more importantly, I am not afraid to take them. I have many skills and I am neither afraid of utilizing them nor am I afraid of learning new skills. Unfortunately, unlike the previous companies that I worked with, this company consistently fails to recognize the effort and dedication that I have put in my work. Hence, there can only be one solution as I no longer wish to be associated with a company that I neither trust nor respect since it has never given me cause to do so.

As I write this letter, I am getting a lot of feedback from my fellow agents that I should not render 30 days notice and I must admit their arguments make a lot of sense. That a company that has never been able to pay me properly will be likewise incapable of paying me my separation pay or tax refund. That their previous teammates who resigned were not paid their separation pay. However, despite my problematic financial situation, I have never compromised my principles for money. I believe in due process even if the company has never given me like treatment. I believe in it and I practice it and I am better than this company. Thus, I am giving sufficient notice so that this company can find another unfortunate agent to replace me.

I cannot even say that I enjoyed my time here or that I learned new skills that I can apply to another position because I have not. I cannot think or say anything good about this company and I am not the kind of person who can continue working for a company that I no longer respect. I cannot even expect the company to pay me the correct amount for my separation fee (if at all) seeing as how it cannot even properly pay my basic fee. Let’s not even go into all the overtime that I rendered.

I can no longer live on false hopes and promises. I cannot even work out an accurate budget due to the amount that is always missing from my pay-slip. I have myself to think of and a family to feed. I could go on and on with my list of grievances but I do not wish to waste any more of time on this the same way that I wasted a lot of time filing payroll disputes that were never paid. Since the company has failed time and again to recognize my rights as an employee and as a human being, there can be only one inevitable conclusion.

In summary, I look forward to my freedom with the utmost eagerness and satisfaction.

Sincerely,

Bakit ano ang nangyari?

panu ba naman kasi we expect that ok na ang 10 day training na un for english proficiency but u know what? at 8am yesterday may i.q. test pa and english comprehension na inabot ng about 1 1/2 hour then after that panel interview na naman just like sa NCO sa abs na may mga tanung tanong ng kung anu-ano kaya may pressure na naman. They call this as pre assessment and after that if ever we pass we will receive a txt message later that night to inform us if we still be back on friday or tanggal ka na. That's why the whole day we were holding back ourselves during the training kasi nga were not sure pa kng pababalikin pa nga kame. I received a txt last night at 7pm congratulating me that i'll be returning daw on friday. It's really unfair to the others or kahit sa'ken if ever d ka nkapasa sa pre assessment ek-ek na yan. We waited for 2 weeks to be called for this training and during that time i tried applying to another cc just in case na d ko nga maantay ang training ng nco. I was suppose to start training also with another cc but NCO pa rin pinili ko kasi nga this was my 1st choice so i let go of the other although may pay pa nga ang training dun......Now my point is, sana man lang during the time of our application at NCO *** courtesy man lang sana to tell us na d pa rin sure ang training na un kc may pre assessment pa para naman nakapagplano pa ng iba...... :grrr:

ahh ok. tatawag na lang daw para sa sked ng interview with the account manager. ilang araw ka bago tinawagan after mo magexam at interview? medyo hassle lang kahapon, wala na yung mga kilala ko, nangawala na kaya naghintay pako kahapon. pinaulit pa yung 3 exam at 2 interview eh tapos nako dun last year pa. labo nga eh.

^ hindi naman, pero you need to give valid phone numbers for HR/Recruitment to call kasi tatawag talaga sila. kung nag-awol ka sa TP, tell it straight to the person who's going to interview you para ala ka ng problema, he/she will take note of that. requirements, of course, every company is strict when it comes to pre-employment requirements. hindi ko masagot yung tanong mo so i guess you just have to inquire with NCO's HR/Recruitment @4th floor. mababait naman yung mga tao dun so dont hesitate to ask.*okay*

hi nujj,

sorry, malabo *** explanation ko. r u from nco? enwei, the thing is i didn't like my account so i told my boss i wanted an immediate resignation. but according to my boss i should render another 30 days, if not i will be terminated. since i can't take my work in that account anymore, i told my boss that if that's the policy then they can just terminate me. but until now the company has not yet contacted me for any confirmation whatsoever. so i'm now wondering whether i was really terminated or what, or if i can still ask to be just transferred to a different account. what can you say about it? :)

I can't answer for the MSN account because I'm a trainee from Sprint, but yes, we do have free meal per day. :) As for the pay, no, we don't get paid on a daily basis..

hope I helped.. :bashful:

according to my friend, who just undergone training.... YES, daily rate ang training nila....P500 if not not mistaken :hmm:

ok sana nung nsa xbox ako..sobrang saya..happy ako sa team ko..kso ngbawas ng agents dahil overstaffed daw..eh malas 4 months pa *** ako sa floor nalipat ako sprint inbound..*** ayun napunta ako sa di ko gstong tm..top 2 ako sa buong account pero hindi masaya..hindi fullfilling..

at infairness maliit **** ang sweldo..lugi **** ako..hehehehe

You mean mas malaki ang sweldo ng XBOX compared to SPIB? I believe 15k basic sa SPIB. Maliit pero mas maliit daw sa XBOX, mali ba? I hope you can bring light to this.

which account has the highest Basic Pay? could anyone rank all accounts in terms of basic pay? and also rank in terms of potential take home (that includes all commissions, etc) You'll be of much help.

lahat ng katanungan nyo malalaman nyo pag nabigyan kayo ng job offer. basahin maigi ang kontrata at kung di naiinitindihan tanungin ang hr. di ibig sabihin pag ginusto nyo sa isang account dun na kayo mapupunta. you can't expect everything to be handed down to you on a silver platter.

i agree with stephenyan@12, i never expected to be with collections but they put me there....they will asses you where you're good at and that's their basis in finding you an account...as far as i know, basic for collections is the highest but mortality rate is high ... :bop:

if a callcenter has a high base pay lets say 20k up for being agent i don't care how irate is the caller enough of that team building crap it eats up your rest day but that's my opinion but hey according to management it m-o-t-i-v-a-t-e-s the employee. Im just breaking balls here.

and of course for those who wish to go up ladder you gotta be a politician drink, smoke wherever they hang out plastik ano para makuha mo gusto some people could muster it i can't i just wanna be myself.
