nope, it's free training for 10 days ata un...the training center from katipunan will then endorse u back to nco if they feel na you got what it takes to qualify nco standards, then ievaluate ka uli ng nco still you're not sure kung mahihire ka na...paid training **** ng 500/day for two weeks if ever na hire kna *okay*

hi. i'm just new here sa PE. Just want to ask few questions. I am currently a Bank officer but having a second thought in applying in a call center. Ano po bang difference or feeling kapag nag work ka from other industry tapos sabay subok ng call center? Curious lang kasi ako sa Call Center Industry. And do they still need the American accent or just the fluency in English language? Sa napapansin ko kasi ngayon, mas kinukuha na nila ang fluent sa English rather than sa mga may American accents.

i have also learned that you can't possibly choose where you wanted to be assigned, it's up to the company kung saan ka nababagay or saan ka magaling. kaya pala matagal ang process ng application, almost the whole day dahil marami kang tests na kukunin and several interviews din and kung saan ka nag excel, dun ka i-aasign. ibig sabihin, you have no choice but to accept the job.

yes that's partially true that you can't choose where you wanted to be assigned but you also have the option to decline the job offer. you can always say what type of account you want to join but again it's up to the ops people to decide based on the current business needs.
sa nco, like in any other center they will, based on your educational background, exams and interviews, assign you to where you are best fitted or have the potential to be successful.
to answer your previous question, iba ang culture sa call center compared sa bangko first is the work sched, tapos if you're taking irate calls pa toxic na or trying to reach your quota kung sa sales account ka ... malakas ang pressure sa call center, sa bangko medyo laid back pero if you have what it takes then it will be a rewarding carreer kasi mabilis ang promotion and rewards. Communication skills will have a greater impact if you are in a customer service account. hope this helps. enjoy your stay in this forum coz there are a lot of valuable information and good pexers around. cheers!!

hindi naman, ako nga halos jack of all trade na ako, parang lahat na yata ng pwedeng trabaho napasukan ko na, bago ako nag call center ang huli kong work is banda then naging loan officer ako sa isang bank, then after nun call center na, ok lang naman, sanayan lang naman dudette

collections agent ako, and regarding naman sa salary offer, di ko kasi alam kung magkano ang salary ng ts da and cs eh, inbound outbound kasi ako, hehehe, kolektor ako, ok namn ang pay, so far wala pa naman akong nagiging problem sa sahod ko, pero yung ibang account daw may mga dispute pag pay out, at siyempre, di mawawala ang napakalaking tax

May tanong lang po ako, nag-apply po kase ako dito mga 2 weeks ago at umabot ako sa 4 in 1 interview with the HR. Umabot pa nga ako ng 12 midnight at sabi tatawagan daw nila ako ng mga 11 am the next day. Pero hindi ako tinawagan. *** mga kasabay ko na-interview ng Hr natawagan daw. Does it means na hindi ako pumasa? Siguro nga hindi ako pumasa. At least nagka-experience ako kung paano mag-apply sa iasng call center company.

depende rin siguro yan. may kakilala akong nag apply sa nco (he's already started the training). nag start sila ng ka-batch nya from 9am and natapos sila ng 1:30 am kinabukasan. taking several interviews and voluminous exams, nasa 14 exams ata yun and then final interview nung 10pm which lasted 1:30 am the next day. at that moment, alam na nila kung natanggap na sila. sa batch nila, may 1 tinanggal, sa team nila, not knowing na ito pala e nilipat lang ng account, not totally tinanggal. binigyan sila ng 1 week to fix their requirements para pag pasok nila ipapasa na lang nila.

palagay ko, depende rin yan sa kung saang account ka ilalagay pero much better not to stick to one company, if you still have time, try to look for another company and you'll see, sunod sunod yang tatawag sayo, ikaw na lang mamimili sa kanila kung san mo gusto. :bashful:

No, i don't think so. The one who conducted our corporate training was a nursing grad i think and he became a trainer in NCO after 6months (damn good at his job by the way). Maybe you could try following up your application? :)

I just finished my 1st week of ABay and i love the colleagues that i have right now. Masaya kami kahit medyo wrong timing ang ABay namin since merong issue ang XBOX consoles as of now :lol: (deym NXE) saka ok ang mga trainers and TLs and QCs and even upper Tiers (the ones that i have known anyway) ;)

Tip? Just put your best foot forward and like ive said, magpakabibo ka lang.

About the salary, I think you're referring to the salary of the Temp Agents which is really high compared to non-temp agents.

hi, i got accepted for the xbox holiday ramp program and got done with my contract signing last week, i was told that i will be finding out my schedule for training early this week and in the meantime i should comply with the medical requirements. however, i haven't received a call yet regarding training, do any of you know if training has already begun for the xbox holiday ramp project? if i wasn't able to complete the medical examinations will this affect my schedule for training? i wasn't able to complete the urinalysis and the other thing because unfortunately it was that time of the month for me.

are you pertaining to the temp agents of XBOX? sa NCO QC lang yun. malaki nga sahod nila pero medyo mahirap ang conditions. no late, no absent and ang sabi ata sakin ng QC ko 1 day off a week din yata, or you wont get your 50k.

just call or puntahan mo na lang ang HR. I think they'll give you leeway. i think they will say na ihabol mo na lang ang medical mo atleast before matapos ang product training. The worst thing that will happen to you is that you'll be reassign to the next wave.

^yup, naranasan ko na rin yan nung agent ako na malipat ako ng ibang account. Xbox-amazon-balik xbox. Parang natural na lang yan lalo na kung sa xbox ka, lalo na ngayon halos lahat tinitrain na as universal agents. May accounts kase na seasonal like xbox na mas maraming calls pag holidays/christmas. Kaya ginagawa nila nililipat nila sa ibang account kesa mag terminate(yan ang palagay ko ha). Advice, try to be good as an agent then you can apply in another position like what I did. Or if you really don't like the account, then try to find another job/call center ^_^

kung skiptracer ka ikaw magprovide ng leads sa mga outbound agents na tinatawagan na nagtatago mga credit card holders o makakatanggap ka ata ng inbound calls or transfers galing cs actually pwede ka naman lumipat ng account after 3 months if your not happy basta galingan mo. galing ako nco dati. sana tama nga na skiptracer yung work mo anyway balitaan mo ako kung yun tama job description.

nag apply ako sa job fair noon march 27 sa NCO at nakapasa ako sa initial at pumunta kami ng ELJ building nakapasa ako sa test,ngayon sa behavioral di ko alam kung nakapasa ako dahil sa lamig ng aircon di alam ang pinagsasabi kung tama ba ang sinasabi ko sabi sa akin ng intervier kung pwede ako sa outbound napa oo naman ako then test uli nakapasa naman ako ngayon pinapupunta ako ng 7 ng umaga natapos ang interview sa akin ng 11 na sa san pedro pa uuwi nakarating ako ng bahay ng 12:50 na,tapos pupunta pa ako ng kinabukasan gusto ko sana bumalik pero naka sakay na ako ng bus sayang nag pa re schedule sana ako , makakapekto ba ito sa application ko pag punta ko roon? pls reply naman kayo

XHunt, actually from phone support ako nagpatransfer ako to e mail support kasi nahihirapan ako dahil sa hearing ko.
April 13 din ako pinarereport ng tumawag sa akin (si Benjo, to be exact). MSN Windows live din ako so most probably magkawave tayo hehe. Well nung first day ko, di naman ako pinapunta sa Clinic to discuss anything about my medical results, hala ka!. Hehe, well marami din akong ex-wavemates na pinapunta sa clinic. If ever naman na my problem, di ka naman nila paaalisin sa wave, unless SOBRANG malala, kailangan mo lang sundin yung sasabihin ng resident Doctor. Wala namang natanggal sa mga ex-wavemates ko so far ng dahil sa ganyan.
Ok lang po yan wag magworry.

sprint inbound? not a gud idea! i was part of spib wave 2, i stayed for more than a year JUST because ONLY because i was happy w/ my friends, but i realized that we can still be friends kahit wala n ko s nco & i'l find friends din **** s ibang co. the management s*cks, TM's pro-fraudster! guess what? u'L learn to lie just to hit ur goal, very unrealistic stats, NCO is a gud co., but sprint it simply s*cks.,eTel has sprint as well & its the same thing.. sad but true.:(

I don't think hiring pa sila sa email support for MSN. there were supposed to be 13 of us in email support for MSN, pero sabi daw 8 lang ang magiging email support. the rest voice calls. i think its because yung wave nila jer_10 is coming in with us. and trust me, MSN email support has a very small space sa company.
AND...it seems HR takes a very long time to group up a team. my trainer right now was in wave 7 when she got in the company, we on the other hand, 1 and a half year after, is wave 8....

i don't know what accounts all in all, but these are the ones i remember: Xbox ( their biggest ), Sprint, Capital One, MSN, Verizon and...yeah... as far as i know, they have that one day hiring thing going on. so if they told you that they'd call you, i guess i wouldn't expect one anytime soon, or maybe any at all.
and if they do call, expect to be transferred to the Fort, Taguig. for some reason, they do the hiring in QC, but i guess they mostly need CSR/TSR's in Taguig.

Yeah they can refer or recommend you to other account incase na hindi ka pumasa sa interview pero pasado ka naman sa iba test or hindi ka na pumasok sa slots.

Xhunt, foundation traning nio na ba? Accent training ang pagkakaalam ko magbabasa lang kayo ng mga sentences (se'ences, hehe) tapos iaassess kayo according to the way you deliver each and every word.

79 nga nakuha ko jan eh pano ba naman yung nag assess sa akin eh yung pinakaayaw ko pa na girl, pero kung hindi sya *** nag assess sa akin malamang naka 95 pa ako
