Any information about this call center? I've just heard of that...and who actually works there? Wala lang, curious lang ako, since from what I heard this is an inbound center which offers directory services.

they have this BIG ad last sunday at the inquirer's JOB MARKET. they are currently looking for 1000 DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE AGENTS. im curious with this call center too. how much is the starting salary?:confused:

I also saw that ad, and by the looks of it nakaka-entice since it's inbound directory assistance nga, and the office/floor would be in the ELJ Center. The thing is, ewan ko lang kung magkano starting dun. If the offer is exciting, I might consider applying there since malapit nang mag-lapse ang contract ko sa call center ko ngayon and that mas gusto ko nang magwork in inbound calls, sunog na rin ako sa outbound. :)

my sister applied for that job. according to the person who interviewed her over the phone, it's an 8pm to 5:30am job. And since it's directory assistance, it's bound to be a very hectic job, na minsan daw even your trips to the CR would have to be very limited...
I don't know how much the starting is but ELJ is very near our place so I guess kung distance lang, the commute won't be a problem.

Oh I see. Anyways as to the CR trips I'm pretty used with that since kahit kami rin naman dito pinapa-minimize rin yung mga ganun. And the shift time seems to be not a problem to me either. I just want to have a fallback just in case...and how much would be the starting salary there plus benefits?

I'm just making a test drive on my part before I finally decide since a part of me still thinks that I don't wanna leave the company where I'm connected at.

sorry guys, i don't work there, got to the job offer then i didn't go back again. we were toured around the 7th floor i think of the ELJ Building in Mother Ignacia. Around may, the office was still under construction, wala pang tables or anything. yung buong floor walang laman, kahit flooring nga lang wala pa.

Ngayon siguro ok na siya, i have to tell you the office is really big. ang laki ng floor space niya. about the culture, i don't know...

**** hindi naman pala gaanong stringent ang requirement pagdating sa age (the ad there said that the age/s preferred are between 18-30 years old). For this particular job, however, you should have good geography skills as well.

And according to the same ad, they're hiring 120 agents/month.

Kaso I don't have a particular e-mail address where one could apply there. I might as well try my luck; tutal by next week 1 month na lang ang contract ko sa amin and if ever I make it there I'll give a month's notice to my current employer.

The job description alone isattractive to me. At least hindi na sa telesales/telemarketing; I'm getting sick of it. :D

pinabalik balik lang kami ng kasama ko! monday kami pumunta... out of 5 na nauna.. 1 lang ako na pinabalik ng 1pm.... after us... may ibang batch na.. i went to crossings to kill some time and eat lunch! I went back at 1pm.. and met 2 more applicants that were sent back at 1pm.... we thought it was paolo who will conduct the interview again... but he was not the one. we were asked to go up to the 7th floor just to be told at the 7th floor to go down. i guess that monday... we were asked to go up and down 3 times. and the girl there with the braces... carrying some resumes outside the office is so... uh... DUH! she should NOT BE THERE! she is so stupid!

we told her that we were sent there by paolo upstairs in 7th floor to go down.. where the office is... and wait for him.... then this girl... doesnt have anything else to say but " HA?! then she told us to go back up... and tell paolo that she sent us there.
and we have to tell her that paolo was the one who told US to stay put DOWNSTAIRS... then again.. this girl( looking so stupid!)

Made it to RMH at least, passed the exams and what-have-yous, from the oral exams to the active listening exam. The thing is, this HR person (I forgot her name due to my tiredness yesterday) told us that although we're like good as hired, they can't give out the actual job offers yet; it'd take around 2-3 weeks before they give out the offers. So they'll get back at us through a phone call, that's why before they let us go they asked us to double-check our contact information as to where they could contact us once the offers are ready. To those who work there, ganun din ba ang nangyari senyo during your time na natagalan before the job offer was made senyo?

As for the office...a part of the 7/F pa lang is constructed; hence the training room. Yung interview area naman is something similar to a bodega kasi nga hindi pa well-developed yung floor; if you're discriminating enough matu-turn-off lang kayo.

Actually, last Tuesday morning I applied for DA but after half a day (enduring a sleepless 4 hours, halatang laspag pa ako because of work) I ended up making it to the inbound CSR shortlist (sabi raw ng nakasama ko run sa process eh accdg to her friend who works there, we might be the first batch of CSR's malamang for **** and we might start training this Sept 26, pero me aayusin pa ako sa contact center na pinapasukan ko ngayon coz me contract pa ako sa kanila till Sept 24). Pero if I made it lang as a DA, still it pays better than my basic sa current co. ko ngayon. Pero the fact is, we're still waiting for the offer from RMH it would take around 2-3 weeks (I guess that's a conservative estimate)

la lang..share ko lang yung kuwento ng brother ko kanina sa phone. (he just came from an interview sa RMH this morning)

my brother called me few minutes ago here sa office (gov't employee ako but really wanted to work in call center due to financial reasons) and gladly announced to me that he just got accepted sa RMH..pero as DA muna kasi nag-i-start na raw yung traning for CSR. this morning lang sha nagpunta sa RMH and then yun, he was given series of exams then an interview. (he's from SMI callcenter and due to some "injustices" na nakukuha nya sa callcenter na yun..nagdecide na si shoti na mag-apply sa ibang callcenters..and sinuwerte naman sha dito sa RMH). then yun...he told me how everything went from the time he was interviewed then when he took the exams...kung meron man daw mahirap sa exams e yung sa last part lang..yung active listening exam. the rest were "chicken" (according to him), spelling, grammar exams yung ibang series. ok naman ang starting salary as DA..11k plus a night differential then an allowance of 350 yata....and yes beefeater..mga 2 wks from now pa bago ulit tawagan kayo to report. :)

..haaay, now i'm really having second thoughts on whether i'll stay here pa sa gov't office (i've been working here for 5 yrs na rin...and "underpaid" pa rin ako.) or whether i'll take a chance on applying sa callcenter..kasi financially talaga, i find it more rewarding e. ay bahala na nga si batman. :)

Dang. Sayang nga talaga if ever, as RMH daw is not just limited to directory assistance eh. But the thing is, my story with RMH still stays and hindi pa rin kami tinatawagan for the job offer. Kami ng kasabayan ko na mag-apply (whom I still have contact through text messaging) hope na tatawagan kami by this week since 2nd week na ng sinasabi nilang 2-3 wk period na tatawagan kami for the offer. Basta, dead-set na ako umalis sa company ko ngayon and take their offer.

Pero...sabi ng kasabayan kong yun she asked a friend of hers inside RMH and she asked kung nagtatatawag sila ng mga for job offers na lang. Sabi nun yes, most prolly 2nd batch na kami. Nayayamot lang ako kasi the moment pa lang na matanggap ako run for the offer that's the only time I will resign from where I am right now. :(

Gaano katagal from the time na nag-apply ka to the call that a job offer is waiting for you? Kasi I passed Sept 9 and until now I'm waiting for their call. I did a follow-up re: the offer and its HR told me na maghintay pa ako ng 1 more week "kasi wala pang schedule" (ng ano? :confused: )

just the usual statutory benefits. i don't really know how much the duty meal is but it's one full meal everyday - rice, your choice of viand, side dish or dessert.

the qualifications depend on the account/campaign, i know we have quite a number of reps who do not have call center background or are fresh graduates.

The challenge is that outbound telemarketing is mostly cold call sales, so it's like trying to sell credit cards in the halls of the Gloriette mall. Really difficult.

I beg to differ. RMH - Asia Pacific does not have any outbound accounts as of the moment. RMH's primary client is far fetched from being a mid-sized US company. But I have to agree that the account is really difficult. Really, really difficult. Production and management wise.

im in inbound sales batch 1. mahirap. ok naman dito. mas mataas ang starting ng sales pero sa DA pag level up mo mag iincrease yung sahod mo and kung magaling ka each month mag lelevel up ka (up to level 5 yata). sa sales may commish, sa DA tip naman ang tawag, pag mataas ang qa mo may parang commish ka. uhm..ano pa ba mga tanong nyo? ngayon ko lang nacheck ulet yung thread e. if you guys wanna apply, punta lang kayo sa ELJ bldg, 5th flr. tapos kung kailangan nyo ng nagrefer, pm nyo ko. mejo pabalik pabalik ka nga lang para sa exam and interview. pero i think it's worth it. i believe this company has a lot to offer. meron din flaws pero lahat naman meron nun e. atleast dito tingin ko maaayos naman.

I think rmh is the best call center in the country today. It's not that big yet compared to others. But the working environment is superb. Pero siguro habang lumalaki ang company mas marami nang flaws. I am inbound sales ryt now. Mahirap ang account dami problem. At the moment, dont want to make any comments yet. I am currently working for RMH. One of its major accounts is directory assistance. But it also has a customer care campaign and a sales campaign. The company is relatively new, it just hit its first year last May.

putik.... i received a phone call from them about two weeks ago... it was a short interview... the freakin' interviewer asked me simple questions.........argh.... kakagising ko lang kasi after being awake for 20 hrs... badtrip....... d ko nasagot ng maayos *** mga tanong coz my mind was flying elsewhere.... there was an interval of 5 seconds in between of every word that i said... badtrip talaga........ *** acct na inapplyan ko eh *** acct yata ng telecom company....... i believe it's at&t.... badtrip...... then the interviewer was like, "ok i'll be screening your application.. just wait until 6pm of today for a phone call...if you receive a phone call from us, it means you qualify for the next level <something to this effect...>...if you don't, assume otherwise..." putik........... right after she said that to me, i already knew that i didn't pass the interview coz i knew that usually after any interview, if you passed, the interviewer would tell you right away to come to their office for a test or another interview... sobrang badtrip..... i'm already working in a call center..kalaban ng at&t acct ko......gusto ko lang lumipat ng center na ok at matino ang management...

does anyone here know how long i should wait before i can reapply at rmh?

i'm from another call center and i just left a couple of days ago...the prob is that in my contract, there's this non-complete clause.. when i tried to apply at another call center and they found out that i'm still with another call center, they refused to process my application because they said they had an agreement with the company i was working for regarding that clause.. both companies do have bonds..

since rmh doesn't have bonds, will they do the same if they find out that i still have an unfinished contract with another call center?

is it a good idea if i reapply tapos walk-in applicant na lang ako? coz about two weeks ago, i resent my resume thru email and i didn't get any response from them...

AFAIK, RMH is not very much particular about the non-compete clause if you're coming from another center and going to them. However, RMH will be requiring you to sign a non-compete agreement as well, I don't really know how effective this is because I know a couple of employees up to manager level leaving RMH and joining other call centers.

I strongly advise that you re-apply by walking in, higher chances of getting hired. As of the moment, I believe the new account is ramping up. This is neither customer service nor inbound sales for the TELCO account. The new account is a customer service campaign for a DU service in the States.

If you were already interviewed by someone from the recruitment team i.e - HR, the next process, I believe is an interview with a team manager. I know it's the final stage.

the MSN campaign has been going on since april, i think. When it launched, it initially dealt with customer service inquiries, but i heard there are plans of taking in technical support calls in the future, if they're not yet doing that now.

The At&t Inbound Sales account pulled out. I also heard that CARE will pull out as well.

Ya, so I heard. Is it true that reps even managers were not forewarned? I hope, for the sake of my friends still left at RMH, that CARE does not pull out.

the managers were told about a day before and the agents were told on the same day. imagine that? sucks no? sana nga di mag pull out ang care. i can't imagine where RMH is gonna get the money for renting 4 floors sa elj bldg. sad...really sad. well, for the sake of your friends, sana makuha ng rmh ang msn accounts. imagine, im one of the pioneers of the company and now im floating...pero im still hoping for the best. i just took 2 exams for tech support (for msn). sana pumasa ko dun sa level 2 exam. hehehe.

first off, yung post ni boyish chick ba yun? yung may namention na wendy was probably last year pa...kase matagal na sha wala dito e..regarding salary, depende sa level mo yun e..pag level one..above dun sa binigay na figure dito, pag level two, even higher..basta yun..and isa pa, hindi partner ang lopezes dito..nagrerent lang sila sa building. and yes, it is sad na yung ibang tao ay pinabalik balik nila...ako din nangyari saken yun. pero di ako pinaakyat baba...yung pabalik balik lang. may mga reklamo rin ako dito sa company. sa lahat naman ng pinagtrabahuhan ko may reklamo ako e..pero im still here, and until im happy here, magstay ako. so far wala pa naman akong nadidinig na nagreklamo sa sahod dito..laging tama ang computation nila. :)

It's not everyday that we get those lame comments from some lame people...as i would analyze it, you must have a bad experience from this call center...I am just happy to tell you that ive been with rmh for more than 12 months now..You may be right when you said that the company is just new...but if you talk about benefits, well all i cansay is that the benefits we are getting here are far more humane compared from what you can get from other call centers... Dami problems ang company but a lot of people here are staying...Just happy to know that there are still a lot of applicants who are willing to give this company a try...coz based from the Phil.Call Center Assoc, we're considered as one of the best CALL CENTERS in the country today.... any violent reactions?!!!

:D actually im not working for RMH or even a former or even a call center agent, although i work in the same industry, im just an employee doing surveys & meetings w/ the sr. management to get data over in call center assoc of the phils or CCAP (jokingly pronounced as "sikap") so we could make graphs for the presidents of these call centers when they meet formally. looks like you're saying something that contrasts the findings of our team. glad to know that, we will double check your claim

hi amPOGIko, campaign mo dude? CARE ako. Ppl dun sa mga natatagalan, ganun naman kahit saan call center, lalo na kung walang scheduled training for a pacticular period of time. As for RMH, 14,500 if u r a CSR, higher for some accounts. WE DO NOT HAVE OUTBOUND TELEMARKETING!!!! RMH handles purely Customer Service and Directory Assistance. Pag CSR ka mataas ang basic then u get free meals(as in complete meal, 1 lunch or 1 dinner) that is completely free for the rest of your stay at RMH. We have a health plan(not just Philhealth) for DA Agents naman mababa basic kasi may commisions sila na minsan mas mataas pa sinulsweldo namin CSR. Now, dun sa interested to become an Accent Trainer, RMH does not hire external Trainers anymore. You must start from the grass roots level muna. CSR or DA muna. The culture is fun and ok ang office. Mejo hindi ok yun Recruitment Area pero the floor is uncomparable to other old centers na di man lang mag rerenovate. Our pantry is like a resto. Hindi jologs na room na converted to a pantry lang. May view ka pa ng MRT, ABS-CBN tower and you get a chance na makasabay sa elevator si Cindy Kurleto(hehehehehehee) yun lang. Bow. =P

yes, RMH accepts undergrads.

As any other callcenters, RMH requires good communication skills. Experience is also an advantage but not necessary.

Level 1 = 15k-18k (depends on the experience)
Level 2 = 18k-25k
QA, TL = 25k-up

RMH offers a higher basic pay than others. For reps - 20% night diff, free meal and no other allowances. (Except if you're in an account that's got a sales program, there are incentives, but you still have to qualify.) For non-agents such as trainers, QA, WF analysts and TMs, the package is at par with other call centers.

As per management, the basic pay that they are offering compensates for the hazard pay, transpo allowance that other centers offer.

mejo kinakabahan lang ako kasi *** kalaban ko sa position has 10 yrs working experience.systems administrator na siya sa makati government pero dahil daw sa sobrang baba ng sweldo,nag-try sya sa RMH. grabe nga kasi "10 yrs experience" na sya tapos bumababa pa rin sya sa level 1 position na SST.kaya nga kinakabahan ako kasi ano bang laban ko dun eh fresh grad pa lang ako.

help naman guys...need advice talaga! 9:30 am interview ko tomorrow!

RMH does not hire TLs externally, they have the TM position though. AFAIK, TLs are promoted from within. Check jobsdb.com if you wish to try your luck for the TM post. I think I just saw their ad recently.

Good luck na lang talaga. OK yung IT manager. Cool yun, medyo in his early 30s pa lang siya, and he's very easy to talk to. Emphasize your flexibility, especially to schedule. Bring across that you will be available whenever needed. Besides, iba ang pagiging sysad sa government as compared to being a site support technician. Iba ang technology and network infrastructure ng call centers. Play to your strengths.

We have leverl 2 techs...internal and also external hiring (for now);)

before jumping ship, especially for those who are seriously considering joining RMH, more than the high base pay think about the benefits that you are enjoying at your present centers. Sa RMH kse, dati to ha...di ko lang alam ngayon, puedeng iba na, puedeng hindi pa rin...taas base pay mo upon entry, pero yun na yun unless mapromote ka...or bigyan ka ng merit increase which is subject to the GM's approval...batch 1 from the program I used to belong to celebrated their first anniversary, at yun.. wala lang one year lang...nabigyan ata sila ng jacket tapos tapos na...

medical benefits? medicard na sa health eklat namen..other benefits? free food. yun na yun. oh, mas madami pa if you are good at kissing a*s*s. uso yan dito sa company e. mahirap mapromote pag di ka sip sip sa mga nakatataas. yung sinasabi ni hiirashi na massive retrenchment, di naman..nalipat kami ng account. mga 1 month nga kaming d pumapasok na may sahod e.san ka pa diba? pero ang ayoko talaga dito e madaming (take note, hindi lahat. baka may maoffend e.) non agent na bopols. madami din na napopromote or nabibigyan ng posisyon na bopols at kups. basta magaling humalik ng tumbong ok na..tataas na sahod mo. kundi lang dahil sa mga kaibigan na nakilala ko dito e matagal na ko umalis. there are really some things money can't buy.

HMO coverage is only 60-80K per illness per year. As compared to other call centers, it's non-competitive. And you get this upon regularization.

Deductions -- the usual, SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth. And omigosh, the tax! The horror! Computation is annualized and based on a forthnightly table.

I was hired L2 here but I refuse to enter.. kasi when I asked if how long is there contract with the Client MSN and about the benefits nga ... indi man lang ako masagot ng HR straightly... may pagkacurios kasi ako when it comes to medical.. so.. indi ko tinanggap.. 25thousand *** L2 kasi un ang offer sa kin.. 18thousand ang entry level and u need to be trained 6 weeks bago maging full pledge.
Anyway.. some of my co-batch sa West nag apply.. and they are there... Good luck na lang sa inyo guys..

Flexible sched..let me see..if you can show to us na meron reason to give you a flex sched..basta may patunay lang po na nagaaral ka...thats no a problem...we can arrange that for you.;)

^flex sched? sorry John, but i have to beg to differ. IMHO, that's not a good practice. WFAs can only give a rep a schedule most suited to their needs. i.e- their work sched is in sync with their school sched.

AFAIK, flex sched is defined as you can come in anytime, anyday, so long as you render your required work hours. For support groups, that can be arranged, however for people in operations - where every interval counts - i don't think so.

jus got word from my friends who r on batch1 wid d Level 2 techs dat d salary for 2 mos. is 15K then after evaluation turns to 18k then after regulartization turns to 19k... so 24K is nothing but a MYTH.. good thing i dint resign wehehehe.. oh well gbye RMH for me.. Ü sykes gives 21K for Level2techs btw,:cool:

D pa me apply kasi titingnan pa ng mga friends ko kung ok then i will follow.

The salary depends sa teknical na alam mo... so possible depende sa exam, pero minimum is 16K daw offer/starting

from what i heard from my boyfriend, yung iba nya friends and former officemates sa sykes na level 1, when they got in sa rmh, level 2 agad. it's easy daw to apply and the pay is good. i'm planning to apply there as a trainer although i'm currently working in a another call center din and just got regularized. no harm in trying naman di ba?::)
