Techs didnt received night diff/Missing pay slips

Description:
Lot's of techs working in the night shift are complaining about their night differential, transpo allowances, and missing pay slip....hmmm seems like there is a problem in our HR dept.

batch 1 pa and until now our salary is still the same. napromote na as L2 wala man lang increase kahit P100. I'm really disappointed with our company!!! They have so many demands without even considering the scenerios. Laging down DELLSERV, sobrang bagal ng system. My golly gulay sila kaya maging tech. Ilan na lang ba sa batch 1 ang nandito pa rin? and for god sake pls alisin si black H at AF! ibalik na lang si scott. yung nangyari nung sunday ewan ko pero sana karma yun sa kanila!!!

nakakatawa kasi may incentive na prinesent and I do believe ***** 3 lang ang nakakuha since may. yung tshirt di pa gawa. YES Tshirt po yung incentive at yung cash ang hirap pong makuha! naglagay ata sila nun para di makuha. At yung mga gift nung recognition day SM gift checks. tapos yung mug na binigay sa team player kinuha din pag baba ng stage. Such a shame MUG lang di pa makabili. No wonder why their motto is [b]"Legendary Service @ lower COST"[b] :shakehead:

haaay hangang this year na lang ako dito. Hindi ko na talaga matiis mga bwiset dito! na trauma na ata ako sa call center. Ganito din kaya sa iba? Considering the work that we do, we don't deserve this kind of treatment. Such a good way to motivate us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bash:

i'm thinking of leaving the company na rin e...

how can you maintain 15 sec acw and 17 minutes of call time
if dellserv and dsn is so slow??

how can you attain a 100% dsn usage when dsn is always down?

how can you minimize exclusion when most of the calls are wrong company numbers...because the phone list and the *8 phone transfer codes are almost always wrong!!!

many times a customer called in to ask a number for certain department....then after 15 minutes the customer will callback again stating that the phone number you gave is not working anymore. YOU'RE HIT!!!

I remember using dsn a week ago about a certain problem.....the answer of dsn is "ASK YOUR L2 OR MANAGER"....watdapak
My manager and my L2 are taking calls for god's sakes

My suggestion is.....

If dellserv is down....

1. The entire site should not take calls.....why??
Because the customer was on hold for about 45 minutes on the phone waiting for a technician to answer, then you will tell them, " I apologize for the inconvinience but the system is currently updating at the moment" , If you're the customer, what will you feel? They will become frustrated and irate with the tech...and the only thing an L2 or a manager can say is "CONTROL THE CALL"...........crap

Let all calls be rerouted to a site where the tools (dellserv,dsn,knowledge base) are up so that the problem of the customer can be addressed as soon as possible.....AND THAT'S CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE FOR YOU!!!

I hope that upper management can read this so they know our plight.

I have no problems kina Mr. Dan Reyes, Raymond Hernandez, Caloy De Vera or amyone from admin.

IT and Telecoms do their best!

There are some issues with HR, though. And I speak for almost everyone here.

IT seems they don't really care about us or cannot support us. And how can they?

They are SO understaffed!

Just think: We keep on ramping people up almost every month. And there are prolly over a thousand of us already.

pero MS. CHE DAEZ is nagiisa at nagtatanging payroll person.
hullo! we don't even have proper software for her job! Manual labor lahat, man! And she is so kawawa every payroll and cut-off day! How about that? She works really hard and needs help and a raise!

And ITKA sucks!


It seems as if HR doesn't care about us at all! WE ARE contactworld! Not just servicezone! We are working for Contactworld! They should have a say sa atin! They never checked if we did have a performance appraisal onour sixth month, did not give us surveys sheets to check on us.. they don't even make themselves readily available to hear everyone's grievances!

And what about yung mga naunang mag-apply for various postions? No feedback whatsoever.

These are complaints I keep hearing and listening to as well as a personal observation.

It isn't Contacworld's management that has issues.. it's servicezone's!

si H baka pwede pa but AF (if i guessed right) has no fault in this. he is just doing what he is told. the incentives he can give out are limited by other people or another person. don't blame him. he's just like us. marami din siyang ginagawa and if you think that he was promoted or was given a raise.. i think you're mistaken (i think lang,ha).

oy mga contact world - help ko lang boss ko mag-recruit kasi dami namin kulang sa group ! hahaha! free advert. naman dito diba. apply nlang kayo ambergris, lapit lang naman - discovery lang naman. ok naman don. if read mo yung thread dito, super sama ng mga iba nag-post pero super happy naman kami mga 10plus friend ko don. good management naman sila, ok naman hr nila, hirap interview - englihs sobra sobra baon mo dapat. pero - ganda ng office, may beds pa for employees mag rest, dami pa nila give away. try mo lang,. k naman don. salary - mga 15 total na , may review ka pa sa 6 months basta meet mo criteria ng handle time, etc.

Bawal ba? I check my email and do PEx posts at the pantry. I assumed the PC was put there so employees can use it (not the PCs on the floor) for personal matters. So far, everybody's doing
it. Dami nga ako nakitang accessed email sites sa History folder. :)

Sayang naman kung di mo susubukan. It's easy to get hired especially if you have good qualifications.. average spoken english and basic PC tech proficiency.
As far as training is concerned, my first month at CWI is a positive one. Enjoy ang batch namin during the Accent Training; while the Tech training is well-informative and brain-busting! If you want to learn a lot, go for it!
I think CWI is just experiencing a fast growth syndrome --- the organization is shaking up because a lot of vertical expansions are being made. Imagine --- from 700 agents in the Dell campaign, management is aiming for 1000! Things maybe tough, but I'm here for the experience.
But still, work here fits certain types of people. Besides, you'll never really know if you'll like it here unless you try it. Just think of the salary (starting of P12T) and training.

that's why we have ITKA bulok daw.

well, you'll need veriffication from your coach, if your coach is not around, anohter coach who is aware of your plight will do. OT forms yan.

also, supervisors can put it naman on their reports, eh.
it really depends on how meticulous your coach is.

we all answer to our respective bosses or supervisors.
edson is the same. don't blame him entirely, he is trying his best. in fact, from my point of view (a couple of feet away from him); he's doing most of the work of the sponsors.

paano naman kasi, pwera si bespren doods, panay bago and kinuhang sponsors. syempre, they don't know what to do. they have to get edson's approval even before signing an IR. (ask coach Nani Papas)

if the isses are about work and God knows even I have issues concerning management, then tirahin lang natin yung mga hinanakit natin about work.
it's very unfair to hit anyperson below the belt by BRINGING HIS FAMILY OR HIS CHILDHOOD INTO THIS MESS walang kinalaman yun dito. nakaraan na yun. lahat tayo may mga pinagdaanan. maybe a person's past can be a a factor in his endeavors today, but not entirely.

edson IS my boss...he has been for almost a year now. and if there's a coach under him who understands him most and has the most amount of patience for him, it's me. over six months kaming magkatabi nyan. i know how hard he works. i know where he is coming from. and i know how he plays politics. tahimik lang ako.

don't put all your angst, frustrations and all the blame on him. MESSENGER LANG SIYA ng bad news. he was brave enough to take the flak from all of us. kahit naman ako, sasama loob ko. but we should stop and take a moment to think and understand the whole situation. is HE really the one who comes up with these oppressive ideas? i don't think so.

lastly, wag naman tayong prejudiced and mababa by calling a person bakla. whether a person truly is homosexual or not, we have no right to degrade that person or do anything or say anything about his or her sexual preferences. parang sa Muslim, we have no right to be meanies about their spiritual preferences... nasa constitution yan, my friend.

anyway, i hope this whole thing ends soon. alam kong there is hope for me yet. i don't know about SZ manila. again, take a minute to think your hinanaings over.. maybe we are all barking up the wrong tree here.

why hire a SPONSOR when you can hire a MESSENGER for a quarter of his salary.
if he's really that USELESS, then we don't need a sponsor!

So sad naman jan sa CW. I was endorsed there by jobsdb. But fortunately/unfortunately...I didn't follow up my application after the last interview. I don't know kung ok ba ang interview or not. Feeling ko napatong ng iba yung aking file. :)

Ganun talaga pag separate yung isipan ng management and employees. Talagang wawa yung nasa baba. Ipit lagi eh. If your an employee and wanted to quit. Saan ka pupunta, kung ala pang kompanya na hihire sa inyo. Pumalagi na lang jan muna, at least may sweldo. The next day your gonna go to your hell again. No choice eh. :(

That's what I'm working on. But of course, they might just trash my complaints if I will be the only ONE who's gonna complain. I have another option though, report them on a T.V. program like "Imbestigador" or "Isumbong Mo Kay Tulfo".

I guess its much better if you get signitures of those people you know that will support your complain. lotza employees here are head of the families that`s why they dont have the gutz to complain the mere fact that its`s hard to look for a job nowadays... pls we do have non-compete clause that means you cant move to another call center after 1 year on the date of your resignation. well i just hope that they will realize that.

that's another thing. I'm trying to contact DOLE to ask if it is legal that contact world would add to the contract that we are not allowed to apply into another call center 1 year after we resign.

About the "No Compete Clause" - you can file your inquiry/petition or complaints to the Public Assistance and Complaints Unit of the DOLE with email address ls@dole.gov.ph, state in your petition that these practice prohibits your right for a valid source of income, also you may state in your petition that there is a Labor standard dispute that needs to be investigated.

Furhter, Labor relations is at its worst, you can also raise your SSS or BIR deductions just make sure or verify that you there are deductions and that BIR is not receiving any of it.

Just remember, a contract is only valid if both party upholds the agreement, once any of the points or clause has been violated or has been changed without undergoing the proper protocol such contract is render null and void. Review your contracts and pay close attention to small details particularly to your benefits, there may be some that you think is too small to raise.... but this is enough to render your contract void.

hi, can't help but notice your post. been an hr practitioner for a couple of years now so i may be able to answer your question. your tax contribution goes to a pseudo number. once you're assigned with a tin, all your contributions will be transfered there.

as for the sss contribution. if i'm not mistaken, quarterly ang pag-post ng contributions ng sss. so mga end of feb or march mo makikita yung iba pa.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Title I
WORKING CONDITIONS
AND REST PERIODS

Chapter I
HOURS OF WORK

ART. 82. Coverage. - The provisions of this Title shall apply to employees in all establishments and undertakings whether for profit or not, but not to government employees, managerial employees, field personnel, members of the family of the employer who are dependent on him for support, domestic helpers, persons in the personal service of another, and workers who are paid by results as determined by the Secretary of Labor in appropriate regulations.
As used herein, "managerial employees" refer to those whose primary duty consists of the management of the establishment in which they are employed or of a department or subdivision thereof, and to other officers or members of the managerial staff.
"Field personnel" shall refer to non-agricultural employees who regularly perform their duties away from the principal place of business or branch office of the employer and whose actual hours of work in the field cannot be determined with reasonable certainty.
ART. 83. Normal hours of work. - The normal hours of work of any employee shall not exceed eight (8) hours a day.
Health personnel in cities and municipalities with a population of at least one million (1,000,000) or in hospitals and clinics with a bed capacity of at least one hundred (100) shall hold regular office hours for eight (8) hours a day, for five (5) days a week, exclusive of time for meals, except where the exigencies of the service require that such personnel work for six (6) days or forty-eight (48) hours, in which case, they shall be entitled to an additional compensation of at least thirty percent (30%) of their regular wage for work on the sixth day. For purposes of this Article, "health personnel" shall include resident physicians, nurses, nutritionists, dietitians, pharmacists, social workers, laboratory technicians, paramedical technicians, psychologists, midwives, attendants and all other hospital or clinic personnel.
ART. 84. Hours worked. - Hours worked shall include (a) all time during which an employee is required to be on duty or to be at a prescribed workplace; and (b) all time during which an employee is suffered or permitted to work.
Rest periods of short duration during working hours shall be counted as hours worked.
ART. 85. Meal periods. - Subject to such regulations as the Secretary of Labor may prescribe, it shall be the duty of every employer to give his employees not less than sixty (60) minutes time-off for their regular meals.
ART. 86. Night shift differential. - Every employee shall be paid a night shift differential of not less than ten percent (10%) of his regular wage for each hour of work performed between ten o’clock in the evening and six o’clock in the morning.
ART. 87. Overtime work. - Work may be performed beyond eight (8) hours a day provided that the employee is paid for the overtime work, an additional compensation equivalent to his regular wage plus at least twenty-five percent (25%) thereof. Work performed beyond eight hours on a holiday or rest day shall be paid an additional compensation equivalent to the rate of the first eight hours on a holiday or rest day plus at least thirty percent (30%) thereof.
ART. 88. Undertime not offset by overtime. - Undertime work on any particular day shall not be offset by overtime work on any other day. Permission given to the employee to go on leave on some other day of the week shall not exempt the employer from paying the additional compensation required in this Chapter.
ART. 89. Emergency overtime work. - Any employee may be required by the employer to perform overtime work in any of the following cases:
(a) When the country is at war or when any other national or local emergency has been declared by the National Assembly or the Chief Executive;
(b) When it is necessary to prevent loss of life or property or in case of imminent danger to public safety due to an actual or impending emergency in the locality caused by serious accidents, fire, flood, typhoon, earthquake, epidemic, or other disaster or calamity;
(c) When there is urgent work to be performed on machines, installations, or equipment, in order to avoid serious loss or damage to the employer or some other cause of similar nature;
(d) When the work is necessary to prevent loss or damage to perishable goods; and
(e) Where the completion or continuation of the work started before the eighth hour is necessary to prevent serious obstruction or prejudice to the business or operations of the employer.
Any employee required to render overtime work under this Article shall be paid the additional compensation required in this Chapter.
ART. 90. Computation of additional compensation. - For purposes of computing overtime and other additional remuneration as required by this Chapter, the "regular wage" of an employee shall include the cash wage only, without deduction on account of facilities provided by the employer.

Chapter II
WEEKLY REST PERIODS
ART. 91. Right to weekly rest day. - (a) It shall be the duty of every employer, whether operating for profit or not, to provide each of his employees a rest period of not less than twenty-four (24) consecutive hours after every six (6) consecutive normal work days.
(b) The employer shall determine and schedule the weekly rest day of his employees subject to collective bargaining agreement and to such rules and regulations as the Secretary of Labor and Employment may provide. However, the employer shall respect the preference of employees as to their weekly rest day when such preference is based on religious grounds.
ART. 92. When employer may require work on a rest day. - The employer may require his employees to work on any day:
(a) In case of actual or impending emergencies caused by serious accident, fire, flood, typhoon, earthquake, epidemic or other disaster or calamity to prevent loss of life and property, or imminent danger to public safety;
(b) In cases of urgent work to be performed on the machinery, equipment, or installation, to avoid serious loss which the employer would otherwise suffer;
(c) In the event of abnormal pressure of work due to special circumstances, where the employer cannot ordinarily be expected to resort to other measures;
(d) To prevent loss or damage to perishable goods;
(e) Where the nature of the work requires continuous operations and the stoppage of work may result in irreparable injury or loss to the employer; and
(f) Under other circumstances analogous or similar to the foregoing as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Employment.
ART. 93. Compensation for rest day, Sunday or holiday work. - (a) Where an employee is made or permitted to work on his scheduled rest day, he shall be paid an additional compensation of at least thirty percent (30%) of his regular wage. An employee shall be entitled to such additional compensation for work performed on Sunday only when it is his established rest day.
(b) When the nature of the work of the employee is such that he has no regular workdays and no regular rest days can be scheduled, he shall be paid an additional compensation of at least thirty percent (30%) of his regular wage for work performed on Sundays and holidays.
(c) Work performed on any special holiday shall be paid an additional compensation of at least thirty percent (30%) of the regular wage of the employee. Where such holiday work falls on the employee’s scheduled rest day, he shall be entitled to an additional compensation of at least fifty per cent (50%) of his regular wage.
(d) Where the collective bargaining agreement or other applicable employment contract stipulates the payment of a higher premium pay than that prescribed under this Article, the employer shall pay such higher rate.

ang labo at ang daya ng company na to!!!!!! biro mo, iibahin LAGI ang cut-off period?!?!? tapos hindi naman babaguhin sa payslip yung date ng bagong cut-off para di mo mapakitang proof against sa maling ginagawa nila. hello!!! meron pong mga tao na umaasa sa kinsenas na sweldo nila. pag laging pinapalitan ang cut-off, tendency eh may times na maliit sweldo mo. PANO NA YUNG MGA MAY KAILANGAN BAYARAN NA RENT, UTILITY AT IBA PANG BILLS????? tapos sa sobrang LAGI pa nilang pagbabago ng cut-off, di mo namamalayan, may mga araw na pala NA HINDI KA NABABAYARAN!!!!!

for those people who want's change on this company take charge, report them so they will know we are serious. I'm still consolidating the violations in this company. I'm not mad at this company, actually I'm greatfull because they gave me the opportunity to do what I do best to provide computer support. I don't want this company to close down and do their bussiness elsewere like India, but we want changes, we want improvement, we want them to follow the "People First Policy". To ever one who's disgrunted help me improve the company to report the to the proper authorities like DOLE or even Client Logic US. Thank you

Can anyone confirm this and any information on the culture, pay and client?What are the job openings if ever they would start operations?I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance! I used to work at a call center way back in 2001 and I had been out of touch for a couple of months in the call center news department.

Where exactly did you get this info? Man...you're waaaay ahead. From what I know, it's just in the stage where Client Logic is still scouting the area. There is not any final word about it yet. If you're excited to have a call center in Baguio, imagine mine (makakauwi nakooo...)
