I went there this morning and was ultra nervous, but then out of our batch, only three of us were advanced to the second level (I didn't think i was gonna advamce because they didn'y probe much into me in the initial interview..

There was even obne Jabroni who discloses trivial stuff about liking Eminem and one who stated he liked Britney for D choreography?? I thought WTF?? but they were probed by Andy and Nikko further so I thought it was me.. I won't go into the specifics of the next hiring but..

DARN..

As I walked out I saw this beautiful young woman who's looking very formal and dignified and I was awestruck.. WOW.

She was like a Princess.. and guess what her name IS Princess. (LOL pero obviously meron na cigurong BF yon, at mukang masungit :p ) When I was at the latter stages I wished for one that she was gonna give the final interview to me but it was John who had done that.. So I'll be starting my training next year.

But man she was lovely :heart:

The pay here at ICT is good, although we do have to file disputes every now and then. 9K every payday is a conservative estimate. i'm from an inbound account, and tell you what, with OT's every now and then, you could get more than that. In my case, the most I got in one payday is around 18K+ net.

ICT just called me to say I wasn't able to attend the initial training yesterday (which would automatically augment me as FIRED!) but the slip and contract they gave states Jan 6.. I wasn't informed in anyway (received any calls from landline, cel or even text) and now I have to wait while they transfer me to another firm/term (i didn't hear clearly because it was my Cel) and they advised me to keep my phone always open (well my cel had ALWAYS been open since I got hired and I would look at it very very often)..

I'm not blaming ICT, but i guess i'm ticked at circumstance. At least they understood my situation and wasn't fired.

But man how many months till I get re-assigned,, especially when I'm excited to start working.

unlike the others, in GMAC u dont get to read scripts, do upsells, and stuff. its really work. u do computations, explain their mortgage accounts, escrows and taxes.

What i love about ICT-GMAC is the office. the floor itself is a class of its own...

I emailed my resume yesterday for the part-time CSR, and they just called me a while ago. My gosh I was still sleeping and my mom had to wake me up! I wasn't prepared at all, but I tried to collect my thoughts as quickly as possible! I spoke to some guy named Vincent (forgot his surname) and he asked me the usual questions, he also said his supervisor will just contact me this afternoon. I don't know what impression I gave him with this "initial" interview, but I do hope I get a call back later on.
What do you guys think about this? What did he actually mean when he said "his supervisor will contact me this afternoon"? Is that good or bad? HELP!

but i have this dilemma....i have a non-compete clause in my contract with my previous employer....and that bond is a big pain in the @$$....coz convergys and sykes rejected me...just because of that non-compete clause....but they both said that if i didn't have that non-compete clause....they'll be hiring me right away....

At the start of 2004, we only had 5 accounts and 1 site. At the end of 2004 we had 20 accounts and 2 sites :D

Just remember you should be careful of your pronunciation (p/f v/b, th, r), be careful of your grammar and make sure you have the right attitude when you go to your interview on Mon. Goodluck!

The pre-screening went well, there's was a lot of waiting going on though. We also had the call simulation (I'm not sure if that was it, but each of the applicant was asked to go inside a booth and read some US States), but I guess the part-time isn't immediately available and they just said they'd put my resume on the active file and call me ASAP if ever.

heluva, what i know is that if you pass, they give you an application form after the simulation then make you take a skills test. after the skills test, final interview na, and then the job offer.

What I question though, is the training module, it's not bad (far from it) by any stretch of the imagination, but the first week concentrated as I said on team building-esque things and the like, the second week had bombardments and influxes of information that it's hard to organize.. there was no "revving up" it's like a snap of a finger and BOOM the difficulty level went up one star.

I dunno what value the module encourages..

Is it "be always ready for sh** happens changes" well now that I think of it, that's reasonable in a way... testing the maturity of the trainee.

But GRRRRR trainers.. that training format still causes info overload GRRRRR :)

Iam very very dissapointed at my payslip!!!!!!

My friend told me na she talks to HR and employees are paid only 25% if they go on OT on Saturday and Sunday????

What the F***???!!!! So if my daily pay is P200 (example lang yan) and I go on OT on Saturday (they call it Saturday premium) ICT will only pay me P50 on whatever hours you rendeer unless it's full 8 hours. So if I work 7 hours on Saturday or Sunday as per my Manager's request, ICT only pays me P50 for it. Unless I worked the full 8 hours then they will pay me 1.25%.

I've been to other call centers and this is never the case.. ganado ganado employees mag OT coz they get paid more than their daily basic... But in ICT it's called O.T.T.Y. (Overtime...Thank you....)

No wonder many people don't want to go on OT on Sat. and Sunday... especially that's the 2 days na we need people to go on OT coz dami nag absent sa floor....

Hi! I don't think it's with the P2b system. according to my friend, HR told her that our Saturday premium and Sunday premium is 0.25%. All of the agents on our account who worked their Sat./Sun. OT are all computed base on that 0.25%. Also they explained that the system that Punong Bayan used to compute our salary are set to 0.25% for our Sat./Sun. OT. which is advised daw by ICT. Kaya nga nagalit yun friend ko, and she argued with the HR supervisor about it. Well, di pa namin alam yun results kasi sabi daw ng HR they will have a meeting w/ the higher management about it, which means na 0.25% talaga yun computation.... if mali talaga yun computation, why would the HR told her na they will set a meeting w/ higher management regarding the Sat./Sun. premium kung talaga 1.25% yun binabayad..... I hope you get my point here.....

Maybe they now realize na they can't make a fool out of us anymore because one way or the other someone will find out..... You know why we never notice that before? because your old agency who is working on our payroll doesn't have the fund to buy ink (or they never get enough pay from you) to print our payslip clear for us to realize the mistake the HR are doing to our payslip..... I know I may sounds a bit rude but I'm really really irritated on how low I was getting paid and almost every payday I have to file a dispute and GOD knows if we are getting the refund for it....

By the way, some agents when they talk to HR about their dispute..medyo mataray daw yun nasa HR (don't want to mention name). But yun friend ko na nag file ng complain about the 0.25% she told me that only the HR supervisor ( I believe she mentioned Ms. Javier) is the only one na okay kausap....the rest they just need to put themselves on the agent shoes before nila tarayan yun mga agents....

Just to add something.... I was just checking on my payslip provided by J.C. agency and look carefully on how they computed my restday OT and it looks like it's correct and compared it to P.B. agency payslip and the OT's are not paid correctly. And that 0.25% computation also apply on our last pay as well..... Imagine an agent go on a full 8 hours Sat OT and he only gets P175.00 for it.... DUH!!! We are not going to go on OT anymore if you guys will pay us less than our daily basic....That's a rip off!!!!

Also, according to the company handbook or whatever you call it that you guys hand out during the 1st or 2nd day of training... It's written there na OT on restday are paid 30% more. Why are we only getting paid 25%?

By the way, I'm not the one only one experiencing this... it seems like most of the agents who rendeer OT on Sat. and Sun. are all affected by this inconvenience... Believe me... words has gone out to all agents and now we will be expecting HR to address this matter as soon as possible....

During my initial application last month, I went through the skills test but didn't really take any written exams (is this normal? :confused: ), just introduce yourself stuff and reciting some words aloud. After that, we were asked 1 by 1 to go in a booth and read something over the phone (I wasn't asked to read any tongue twisters, just US States :shrug: ). After that, the interviewer just said they would put my application in the active file, since there was no part-time yet.

Tanong ko lang, if ganyan ang normal procedure ng application process? I'm not sure kasi if I passed or not, he didn't say I failed, just the "active file" stuff. From what I've read in the previous posts here, parang dapat mas marami pa sakin pinagawa if I really passed. :mconfused:

Thanks.... they should know what is going on... also I hope they can change that "clock" system or whatever you call it. Other call center they just base it on the agents "login,logout" af the avaya... kaya nga dami dispute coz if we forget to logout the "99" sa CLOCK, forfeited na yun work mo for that day.....patay! dispute na naman un.... can't they make our life easier??? coz it's really tiring na after shift and sometimes we tend to forget to logout.

How they address the issues? Well, Ms Javier told my friend na they will dispute it and it will go on our ATM before our Feb 15 pay. Problem is, it's not my friend lang..lahat kami sa P******** account is affected..lahat ng payslip namin 0.25% yun computation... Ms. CiGaWeTte can you request the HR manager to give us a formal explanation on how they will dispute this matter??? coz Ms Javier only address that matter to my friend lang eh... Now, we are confused if we should file a dispute or they should check all of the pay for our account?

haaayyy... ang gulo gulo naman HR dito sa RCBC... one week they will go morning shift...then later they will come in after lunch... then sometimes we stay 2-4 hours after shift just to wait for them to come in and to find out umuwi na....

Hello??? Can someone stay in the office during operation hour so that agent can always approach them if we have question about our payroll??? Some agents here think na baka tinatakasan kami.....grrrr.... like for instance, today after finding out na mababayaran yun mga dispute from OT a few of us knowing that HR is now open lunch time, we stayed after shift and wait for them... Some of the agents started waiting since 7:00am pa.... then kanina my friend went upstair and sabi daw maaga sila umuwi... What the F***??!!!! Can they just post their schedule somewhere na kung what time of the week sila pwede approach??

I know mahirap din trabaho nila... but how about us??? everybody here is given each and their own responsibilities.... kaya nga iba iba sweldo natin because of our different reponsibilities diba?? Sana naman intidihin nila kami.....

ay nako. dispute din first pay ko dito sa ict. ive been hearing diff feedbacks about the pay here, yung iba sabi hindi nadedelay, yung iba naman sabi nadedelay na minsan ang laki pa ng kulang. take my batchmate for example: so di kami umabot sa cut off date, pero when we calculated we got at least one week in. tapos pag dating ng pay slip and ng check nya 700+ lang binayad sakanya! we were really shocked kasi lumalabas parang isang araw lang sya pumasok. tapos yung iba samin ang laki ng difference ng payslip maski na same naman yung basic pay. maski na argue nila na may dependents or whatever ang laki talaga ng difference.

parang wala pa sa sarili yung mga babae dun sa payroll dept 20th floor, mga bago ba sila? imagine naman, may isang paper dun na we have to sign if cash will be given, nakalimutan nila ipakita yun for some of our batchmates! sabi lang nila "ay oo nga pala, sign here pls". parang hello?! ang labo talaga, edi kung wala nagsabi sa kanila na may cash pala sila matatanggap ano mangyayari sa cash nila?

maski sobrang ok yung working environment ng ict pero palpak payroll nila, di talaga ako tatagal kung dispute ng dispute gagawin namin.

Even raised her voice on us.. she can't take suggestions. May threat pa siya na she's the immediate supervisor so she can get us fired. Outbound is when you call them (i.e. telemarketing)
Comission is, well, when you sell something, you get back a certain percentage of the amount you sold. It can sometimes be a fixed amount and not a percentage.

it's kinda ominous how a rep from the 20th floor advices (seriously) to get 24 dispute forms a year.

When I get the chance, i'd really like to apply for an HR position (if there's an opening of course)
