Just to give you guys a heads-up, i might be resigning from ICT soon. It's not because i don't like the company anymore, it's just that hindi na enough and sinesweldo ko (plus discrepnancies). lalo na ngayon, 130 pesos a day na ang parking :depressed:

Initial Interview (A gauge of your english communication skills)
Call Simulation (Test done over the phone, consisting of tongue twisters, etc)
Skills Test
Final Interview

For the interviewers, kaya mo yan mabait naman kami eh :D hehe. just be yourself. be confident but not too confident.

For training, you get paid a normal salary. I dunno how much you'll be needing.

Just a tip though: You don't need to put a picture on your resume, a scanned picture would do.

My friend nga sa P******** pinagtripan eh... I mean it's probably her "I don't give a d@mn to anyone!" type of attitude coz well she grew up kasi sa states and there is this coach na lahat ng galaw niya ay sinusumbong sa HR. she got so pissed off she threaten to sue them nga eh..so medyo nag lie low na kunti lately... ako din dami absent..I guess it will depends on your coaches.. if you know how to kiss your superior *** then they might give consideration... Always remember you are in a "CORPORATE" world... they don't need you...but you need the JOB....hehe...:D...

If you think na meron ka laban..then go ahead and write a letter to Karen B. our company president and maybe they might give considerations...

Trainers, depends on the company really.

As for openings for those positions, I don't think we've ever hired externally for those positions.

Hearing from other call centers and their agents made me realize na ang sarap pala ng buhay sa ICT. Not only are we "OHANA" in HHF we have the best team of coaches, supervisor, and trainors. YES there is always office politics, intrigues, and competitions to contend with but its really nice to know that YOU are valued as an employee and also as a friend.

What I love about ICT:
- You get to personalize your stations (at least sa campaign namin pwede:) )
- You get to bring your comfort stuff on the floor (blanket, pillow, etc)
- You get to enjoy your planned leaves (WHOPEEE!!!)
- The spiffs
- The games and mini tournaments on the floor
- THE FOOD!!!
- Our "Angel"
- Meetings, where after or during discussions we get to enjoy a mala-VARIETY SHOW program
- The PEOPLE!!!

cigawette question lang po... kasi dun ako sa account na may bond sobrang yoko na! gusto ko palipat ng account e sino ba muna kakausapin ko? hr ba agad? sobrang dami ko ng absences may memo na nga ko kaso nagbago isip ng sup ko so di na nya binigay. sobrang pagod nako dito sa account na 'to!!! kaso feeling ko di ako papayagan palipat kasi dami nilang na-hire na agents ngayon kasi requirement yata ng client. so very unlikely na magtatanggal sila ng agents. ive talked to our manager before sabi niya 6 mos daw before they could consider kung pwede kang ma-transfer ng account. sa may pa 6th month ko... gusto ko na ngang mag-awol. dami na nga sa mga batch mates ko nag-awol e... i love the pay pero for me di talaga worth ng pagod ko e. sensya napo wala ko ibang mapagtanungan e. :)

As of April 1, I am officially resigned from the company. I will really miss everyone from my campaign. Hayyyyy, but then again its now time to move on to greener pastures (hehehehe). WHat I mean is, time to change schedules. Am now working 8-5 day hours. Wuhooo, I feel "NORMAL" now.

I am quite apprehensive of trying to apply to your company because of my lack of call center experience.My previous work experience is from manufacturing industry, but wanted to shift to call center with faster career growth and prospects. But I do have confidence in trying to make it out for this particular industry. I am aiming for CSR position in a challenging account that brings out my skills in numbers and technical matters....

Does your company would consider hiring someone from another industry with no prior call center experience? What are his chances among applicants with call center experience?About age discrimination and adaptability issues, does the HR have strict rules regarding this matter?
I am sure I could use some transferable skills( leadership, good in numbers, etc) and very much willing to learn the ropes about this industry. I also would like to know what possible reasons I could state WITHOUT SOUNDING MEDIOCRE when asked about the question " WHY DO YOU WANT WORK IN A CALL CENTER INDUSTRY AND NOT FROM A REGULAR INDUSTRY FROM WHERE YOU ONCE WORKED FOR?.I hope you could enlighten me in some ways on how to respond to this particular question, at least what possible acceptable answers( and not mediocre ones) from a Call Center-HR point of view.....

Don't worry, it doesn't matter if you don't have call center experience, although with what i mentioned earlier, you might get a slightly lower salary rate than those with experience. As long as you have the skills, you're definitely welcome in ICT :)

About that question of yours, we're pretty much used to getting these answers:

It's a "Follow Our Sched" company, but of course, Your final interviewer would look for an account that fits your sched and of course, your qualifications. Thing is, We don't know when any accounts would be opening, that's why we put resumes in our "active file". Minsan biglaan lang yung openings eh.

Take my case for example, i have a handful of resumes in my tray, i'm still waiting for a suitable account to open up for them.
