uRprincess thanks. and i'm making my saturday night/afternoon free ha for our EB hehe. oo nga pala pag di mo ako makita ng 10:30 (pero malamang gising na ako nun) baka tulog pa ako sa sleeping quarters sa 15th (sa 11th floor na pala ako, saka na kwento sa mga pangyayari) kanina for 24 hours gising ako tapos may pasok pa ako ng 2:30PM mamaya *sigh* kaya natutulog na lang ako sa office para at least may tulog.

I actually went there yesterday (Wednesday) and was told by the one who interviewed me (I guess his name was Carlo) that there is currently no opening for the 9pm-1am shift. I'm a student kasi at UP and when he asked for my schedule, there would be conflicts to the only available slot which is 7-11 am. He told me that he would place my application on the active list but there would be no guarantee as to when I would be called. Could you please inform/PM me just in case there would be a vacancy in the 9-1 shift? I prefer to work kasi during evenings and in RCBC Plaza. Thanks a lot!

catherine de castro-self proclaimed dyosa/reyna ng E*****X if you're reading this you're the worst manager i've ever encountered i don't know how you got that position you only think of yourself and not of the agents who are disgruntled with the way things have been going despite the many times a certain person has talked to you about your flaws you still don't and refuse to change ang kapal ng mukha mo paiyak iyak ka pa wala ka namang alam paano magpatakbo ng account kakampi mo lang kasi si Bremer at si JG kaya andiyan ka pa din hanggang ngayon but if you ever apply in another call center for sure you would not pass maybe as an agent but not any position higher becuase of your attitude and your lack of business ethics

Working in ICT was the biggest mistake I ever made!!! Management sucks like rotten ****! Big pay? huh! That's all crap! That's what you think! Imagine getting 5k in a pay? Sucks, man! dispute your pay and you will get it after 6 months! and take note, when you get it, there wil be an "intended" mistake again..imagine it 3x more than the last 1! The people there are so bobo that even their contract was what, "copy" "pasted" from wherever. Sign a bond without the digits on it?? hey same here i was one of those demoted dahil di raw nameet yung metrics e.g. AHT nung account...well all i can say is yeah we might have the lowest AHT for between us and Miramichi but as far as QA grades are concerned walang sinabi ang mga taga Canada na yan but i guess di sa kanila importante and quality ng customer service...and as far as Clark as concerned kung wala na siya paano na yung mga babae niya dun??? I just heard, just now that we will not get our salary on the 12th (friday), but instead on the 15th (monday) pa! well the payday really is on the 15th pero they're not releasing salaries on a monday right? but this time they'll do that... again! remember last payday guys wherein we got our salaries on a saturday instead of a friday... well the reason behind is that agents usually absent themselves the day after sweldo (post sweldo syndrome) so they did what they think would stop that habit but still there were a lot of agents who absent themselves last saturday... so it turned out that they made an ABSOLUTE MISTAKE for such action. and in return a lot of agents really got so disappointed with such incident... so alam nyo yun, in short guys parang tinuturuan nila tayo ng leksyon! isn't it funny?! diba guys we have the right (esp. for regular employees) to absent ourselves naman whenever we wanted to for as long as you give advise to your superiors? and for those naman who are not regular yet, they can absent themselves but ofcourse they would be granted corresponding disciplinary actions in return... diba?! hay nako... ICT is really great in frustrating and disappointing their employees :( tsk tsk tsk...

i wonder if other call centers experience this so-called "post sweldo syndrome" too....

ATTENTION ICT PEEPS! I just heard, just now that we will not get our salary on the 12th (friday), but instead on the 15th (monday) pa! well the payday really is on the 15th pero they're not releasing salaries on a monday right? but this time they'll do that... again! remember last payday guys wherein we got our salaries on a saturday instead of a friday... well the reason behind is that agents usually absent themselves the day after sweldo (post sweldo syndrome) so they did what they think would stop that habit but still there were a lot of agents who absent themselves last saturday... so it turned out that they made an ABSOLUTE MISTAKE for such action. and in return a lot of agents really got so disappointed with such incident... so alam nyo yun, in short guys parang tinuturuan nila tayo ng leksyon! isn't it funny?! diba guys we have the right (esp. for regular employees) to absent ourselves naman whenever we wanted to for as long as you give advise to your superiors? and for those naman who are not regular yet, they can absent themselves but ofcourse they would be granted corresponding disciplinary actions in return... diba?! hay nako... ICT is really great in frustrating and disappointing their employees :( tsk tsk tsk...

dont worry about mabibigla ka...any first timer talagang mabibigla lalo na sa first day ng calls, but what i learned from my own experience, yung feeling ng bigla na yun sandali lang yun then when you get the hang of it okay na lahat!

basta ba nakapag 2 years ka na ng college, qualified ka na....now it will all depend on how you perform sa interviews kung kukunin ka nila.
hinde naman kailangan american accent na hinde na mahahalata ng kausap mo na taga ibang bansa kausap nila,basta acceptable naman yung way of speaking mo oks na yun...now bahala ka na kung pano mo aartehan accent mo pagdating sa training queue para di ka tanggihan ng client.
they accept walk ins sa ict ortigas, i just dont know how they do it in my branch...based on my experience, the initial interview is a group interview then after that they schedule your call simulation,...if you're lucky the same day na rin ang final interview and job offer...as for me, late na natapos call sim ko so i had to go back 2 days later for the final interview and the job offer.

i applied about a year ago at ICT ortigas.

after the second to the last step of the hiring process, i was informed that i cant be considered for the position as the non-compete clause with my peoplesupport contract was still in effect. :(

the hr informed that i may re-apply after the non-compete clause expires; and that my file would be kept on hold status.

right after the non-compete clause expired, i immediately contacted ICT to reactivate my application. the guy on the other end of the line informed me that i have to GO THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS OF THE APPLICATION AGAIN. :grrr:

so much for keeping my application on hold! :rolleyes:

slum book questions...basically basic info...tapos konting knowledge q's abt call centers..difference ng inbound and outbound...yung mga tipong ganun...i'd recommend you spk in straight english...masyadong informal ang taglish,kung magtatagalog ka, diretsuhin mo ng tagalog ang isang sentence.Tapos balik na sa english!Lalo na kung pagpasok mo pa lang ng office may english only na nakapaskil sa wall :lol:

Well Im already working at ICT for 5 months already, as a first timer they have given me 13,000 as my starting salary, with 15% night differential, plus 2,500 meal and transportation allowance, and upon regularization your salary will increase atleast 1000 pesos annually depending on your performance... My veteran call center friends was given atleast 15000 basic salary.... Minus commission and quarterly bonus
