guys any feedback in this call center over at RCBC plaza? I've heard kasi na na they pay outbound agents like 19k a mo. And i've heard some people from our company now working for ICT who is into inbound gets paid like 9k every payday. Is this true? :rolleyes:

well.. steady lang yung offer sakin.. mataas siya actually para sa basic pay, considering na first time ko pumasok sa call center.. i have batchmates who got a much higher offer though..

guess what? I'm about to enter this company. I would be needing these inputs badly. Based on what people are telling me, its a good move, especially for a first timer like me in this field. My friend works at Sykes, but he longed for a stint here at ICT.

pwede ka mag walk in lang :) go early in the morning and by the end of the day i'm sure you'll have a job offer na... submit your resume to the receptionist, and then she'll give you a written exam... after that, you'll take the IQ test and lastly, you'll take the phone interview.

When i applied, i came there in the afternoon and took the tests. that very night, i got a text from the HR telling me to come back for an interview the following day. Ayun, Job offer na :) So you should come early in the morning para by the end of the day, job offer na :) Or if you really wanna be sure, PM me your text number then i'll ask for you kung what time yung exams nila.

ICT used to be called International Computer Teleservices, and is dealing strictly with tech-based customer services, but times have changed and they prefer to be known as just ICT Group. Inter Con is yet another call center.

It you desire to work for an American company, this is one of the best places to be in. Americans are known for being equal opportunity employers. But be also prepared to work hard for it, because they won't allow too much slack time unlike with most of our local companies here. However, all this hassle will translate into us being better office employees in the future.

I work for a finance account here. Sa primera, its hard, but I'm now getting to appreciate its procedures, and am quite ready to do multitasking. Next week is the beginning of my new life... my first night to remain awake working till the break of dawn. But I don't mind.

i came from one of the first call centers here in the phils.

kasi mas organized sila. may system unlike here. and kasi hindi ganun kapulitka. unlike here, palakasan. most likely, you'll get promoted pag gusto ka or kilala ka nung mga nasa position, not bec you're good at what you're doing.

besides, dito lang ako nakakita ng call center na laging sira ang systems at wala pang sariling IT servers.

if so, parating sira ang systems dahil bago lang siya, marami pang bugs... Hindi controlled ng ICT yun, yung mga programmer ng states ang may hawak nun, kung ano ibigay nila, yun yung nakukuha natin :)

Close ako sa mga tao na may position sa account ko.. magkasama kami araw-araw, minsan kumakain kami sa labas, yung isa sumasabay pa sakin pauwi. Di parin ako napopromote :)

nag walk through ako last monday... we were each given an application form which included an essay writting page (at least 200 words per essay topic).. Then we were called individually... We had our interview over the phone. Typical interview questions like "Tell me something about yourself not found in this resume", "Why call center" .. nag basa kami ng mga states.. example.. Idaho, Alabama, Massachusetts,Tennessee etc. Tapos we also had tongue twisters (sisiw!!!;) ). Kung interesado sila sayo.. they'll ask you to stay for the iq test (30 items for 12 minutes!!! Aarghh ). Only 12 of us were called to take the exam, surprisingly only 2 of us were male. Tapos we were told to return the next day for our final interview. Yung mga questions nung interviewer ko based sa resume karamihan. After the interview, I was told that they'd be processing my application and will be informed before 12 midnight. Unfortunately for me... I did not recieve any calls. Sana man lang di na nila ako binigyan ng false hopes.. nagantay pa man din ako... :bawling::bawling:

I used to work for ICT. It's been almost 4 months since I left there. I was "persuaded" by my present Account Manager to accept their offer, so I left.

One of the things I dislike about ICT, is the lack of independence from their Head Office in the US. What do I mean? It's been 4 months since I left, I have submitted my clearance the day I left and completed all the necessary procedures for my departure, yet my Back Pay is still no where in sight.

I've been calling the HR and they keep on telling me that the checks will come from the US, they still have not given the clearances to release the Back-Pay, etc. I've also discovered that a number of people who have left the company are also in the same predicament. Ang hirap naman kuhanin ng back pay sa kanila! In my previous Call Center employment, it only took a month to process my back pay! Jeeze!

Saka tama yung isang nagsabi na wala silang sistema. If you came from the Pioneer Call Centers or other call centers for that matter, you can't help but compare. Yes, the pay is good, the people are nice and sometimes you get weekends off, pero mahirap pag walang sistema.

True, starfish088. Usually yung mga outbound ang nagiging kakopetensiya namin pagdating sa "sleeping space", which is usually one of the nine couches located on the 19th floor. Kaya I also favor most of them transferring to Ortigas, and leave the Ayala office to accounts mostly concerning loan talks or other inbound services.

At ito rin yung observation ko: most of the CSRs at our place now, are with the outbound accounts. The finance account is only 2nd or 3rd I believe, in terms of size. Oftentimes, the quality of our service were being compromised by the presence of these people.

I missed the escrows, the payoffs, the "kulit" clients, and most of all, the animated irate callers. They are music to my ears, and I missed the chance to try to pacify their anxieties about their accounts.

We don't process people in the makati office anymore. All the HR-Recruitment people have moved to the ortigas office. When you get here, yes, that'll be your initial interview.

You don't have to write it down on your resume (but it may help). It shows a little bit more effort on the part of the applicant. And yes we do accept part-time students, as long as there's no conflict between your school sched and your work sched.

There are a lot of factors that would affect how much base salary you would be getting.

-How long you were with your previous call center
-What type of account you handled back when you were there
-What type of account you're gonna be placed in (ICT)

I can't actually tell you how much the basic salary is, but i can say that we do offer a competetive salary as compared to most other call centers.

Your sched will also depend on what account you're gonna get into. But most of the accounts only have graveyard M-F scheds with weekends for their day offs.

Well PS sent us a letter asking us not to hire any of their employees within one year of their employment with PS. I think you guys signed something that forbids you from working at any other call center for a year after your resignation.

Well, you can apply :) if you get into an account without a bond, then good for you, if you get in account *with* a bond, maybe you can ask to be put in different account, tell them that you're willing to wait for an opening :)

ei guys i need help....kc iv bin given na a JO for ICT pero i'm still thinking about it kc it's lower than what i rcvd w/ my previous company. at least 1k lower. the acct is involved with electronics so TSR sya. sa RCBC. i just have several concerns like what's the acct like? tska *** people? petikz lang *** dun...nkaka-trauma kasi coming from a financial acct...as in pagtapos ng shift mo para kang nauubusan ng dugo everytime. so kung magiging easy *** acct siguro ok na rin. kaya lang bumaba *** sweldo ko! db dpata ang bargaining pataas hindi pababa? anybody who can give me tips? kasi i have two pending applications pero pinaghihintay pa ko till january to start. *** isa nga jan pa daw ako pde interview dme kc applicants. *** isa **** after 2wks eh d ko alam if ICT can hold for that long. can you guys help me?!

Hmm.. Back when i was an agent, may mga nawalan ng cellphones. Kasi naman, nasa sleeping room sila, pinatong lang nila yung cellphone sa tabi nila, in plain view of other people.

For the others, i think they left their phones unattended.. Not sure if there have been incidents wherein phones were actually stolen from their lockers.

Management has done something about it including routinary bag checks, tighter security, etc.
