1 day after the Final Exam I had my job interview, was hired four days after. Di na nga ako naka attend ng graduation eh. Since then di pa ako naging bum and that was 4 years ago.

Negative one month. Hard to believe, eh? Actually, I was referred by a family friend, interviewed by one of the company owners (Brit), and asked to work in HK while I still had a month to go. I still had two weeks of "vacation" after my final exit from college and then my plane ticket came. Didn't even show up at the graduation march. Nag-bum ako whenever I quit my job and look for another - 6 months is the longest. :D

graduated April 2001, got my first job in August 13 of the same year. resigned after two months, so i was transported back to bumhood but my heydays were soon interrupted by a job offer 6 days before Christmas. lasted there for 7 months (the company shut down). after that, got a project employment for 2 months before i landed to where i am right now. 6 months and counting. hehe

basically, i'd been to the moon and back since i graduated. been in marketing, HR, freelance writing and now, i'm a professional snoop! the journey was crazy, but sure t'was fun.

3 months, the next one 4 months, but right now...1 month jobless and still counting but still hunting. pihikan me sa trabaho, learned not to grab any opportunity that comes to me immediately, i really select companies to apply and give considerable thought if a job vacancy really suits my professional goals. I don't want to fix myself working for a company for the sake of having a job but working and earning and enjoying what i do.

hmmm... would you believe it took me a year and a half to get a job... of course you have to consider i have to take an extra semester for the board exam review...

it would have been longer if i had not decided to try my luck in a different field...

i am with you in your sentiments. plus the pressures, meeting deadlines, going to work very early and going home late, 24 hours in the office, and not properly compensated. I wish i win the lottery for me to have enough capital to start my own business :rolleyes:
