hahaha. they are so ****ing OC with attendance and adherance. i really dont know the details yet. baka nga divided into 3 pa *** performance bonus e. attendance, adherance and quality. kainis no? kc baka binawi kasi ang gagaling nating lahat.

ngayon, may best team. incentive? u get to decorate ur own ****ing pod. dress down for one week and the money incentive for the team is sketchy.

sheesh.... kalokohan!!!!!

but oh well, join na. pilitin nyo nalang na magmakebelieve na masaya.

aanhin ko ang dress down? aanhin ko ang team decorated pod?

kailangan ko ng pera para may pambili ng gatas at pangtuition sa mga pinapaaral.

Honestly... dress down is the MOST STUPID "reward" you can give your employees. I mean what the coitus? Is it really that hard to slap on something decent for the office that being allowed to dress down is considered a reward? And yes, I wish ADMIN is reading this. Hello?! Give us better incentives to work harder (not that we're not right now, mind you)! How about an extra VL instead if you're too crummy to pony up the cash or if you're really nice, give the overall top performers an outright extra dayoff for the week?! :ferocious:

if a trainee fails in DIET, PST or ABay..enforceable na ba ang bond agreement? which means na hindi na nga ako nakapasa sa training..nawalan na nga ako ng trabaho..mahuhubaran pa ko dahil sa laki ng babayaran? when does it really apply? :nuke: ito ba ang tipo ng kumpanya na maghahabol?

was a diet trainee weeks ago.
eto lang masasabi ko - hindi ko alam kung anong hanap nila.

out of ten people (including me) who entered diet, 4 were only chosen and my co trainees were surprised that i wasnt one of the 4.
hindi sa nagyayabang but cmon, di ko tlaga magets kung anong criteria para pumasa. mas may accent and i speak better naman compared sa 3/4 na nakapasa but i didnt!

di naman nila tinuturo what ur suppose to do during the recording, how you should read it. etc. kaya malay mo ba naman kung ok lang maging loud, or perky or business like.

pero eto badtrip p500 lang makukuha mo after 5days. nsa makati ave ang loc nila mahal pagkain dun, kulang pa yung p500 sa pamasahe!

ang whats the only thing good about the training is the
konzuelo de bobo- yes everyone we'll all agree on the pizza.

***** apply here kung tlagang desperado kna to get a job n u want a fixed sched. yung account na experian dun ka.

i really feel bad for you... the trainers have been trained to make sure all the candidates they send to pst are suited for each account... i can't answer your question why you failed diet... but i have some clues...
mas may accent and i speak better naman compared sa 3/4 na nakapasa but i didnt!
the trainers do not encourage accents... the purpose of diet is to neutralize the accents...

and..

4 out of 10 is 2/5... not 3/4...

I just came from 5 glorious and cool days in baguio, yung mga gusto bumalik, mag PM lang sa akin... at kayo na rin ang magplano kung kelan kayo pwede, at kung ilan kayo, so i can make the appropriate arrangements.

why u guys burning the payouts so quickly? I don't understand. May transition tayo this Aug. We have to save as much as possible. We don't know what's gonna happen. Kung maayos na ang transition, that's the time na i-burn natin yung payouts natin diba?

WANT TO see what happens when V Cust takes over. :naughty: This is probably the biggest reason why I'm not a full time student right now --- I've never experienced a company transition and I'm curious if I will be hmmm... "enriched" by this take over.

And speaking of being a student... I just met my first TRUE old school professor in Malcolm Hall tonight. The legends are true --- they do breathe fire and reek of impending doom! :eek:

I'm finally moving out . will have my final this friday....hirap mamili i just sent out my CV last week and they keep on calling. hopefully i get the best offer. wish me luck. how's peoplesupport are they supportive ?

applied last week, passed exam, during interview, said i would prefer outbound (Experian) account, interviewer was surprised because she said she was indorsing me for inbound (MCI) account, so she called this guy to tinterview me for the experian outbound account, it went smooth and asked me to come back on thursday day after tommorow, for the job offercuz he wasnt still sure if there would be training this monday...txted him thursday morning he then called me up said the training was moved on the 20th and come over on wendsday next week for the job offer...oh well..im so bored ive got still a week to kill...oh well...

how does the traing go, i mean ano duration, gaano katagal ang diet training. and how long bago ako mag product training? would I get the full compensation once i get to product training?

and may opening pa ba yung ip relay or yung sa paypal. , im interested in the 20 K + fat compensation :D

mastahswabe: DIET training takes 2 weeks for the IPRelay program and 1 week for the rest of the programs. if you pass, you immediately move to the product training, wherein you start to receive full compensation.

IP relay lang *** may P20K++ compensation package

irate: naman, alam mo naman kung paano mag calls si grimace diba? opposite kayo nun... kung ikaw, ang spiel mo ay "opr here pls speak faster", sya every 5 seconds "opr here pls speak more slowly..." (takatak-takatak-takatak 40wpm takatak-takatak)...

at yumayaman ang MCI (now VCust) sa kanya, kasi it takes 1 minute for it (diba sexless si grimace? hehehe) to finish the explanation script. e di $1.35 kaagad un for MCI hehhehe...

you can always try... 16th flr BPI Buendia Center, Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati.

make sure you can type at least 60 wpm. that's the minimum speed reqt.

what about the acuracy,, sa typingtest.com i can only get 87 gross and 79 net speed, acruacy ko is around 85 lang :(

i've heard dapat 95 percent acuracy?

i forgot if it was 90% or 95% accuracy. well, since you need a 60wpm net, then just work on slowing down and focusing on your accuracy. you have room to spare, so just focus on typing right instead of typing fast.

aandrew - ip relay is basically talking and typing...ang binging caller (o bingi-bingihan, no need to elaborate on that lest i breach confidentiality...yeah right!) magt-type mula sa isang website, they'll give the operator a number to dial, and the operator dials it and connects to a voice caller. basically, you're acting like a human phone line.

minimum typing speed is 60 wpm, 90% accuracy. and u also need to have a high tolerance level for profanity and sexually-related content...a lot of pranksters abuse ip relay and use it to play pranks on their friends...or the operators themselves.

aandrew - ip relay is basically talking and typing...ang binging caller (o bingi-bingihan, no need to elaborate on that lest i breach confidentiality...yeah right!) magt-type mula sa isang website, they'll give the operator a number to dial, and the operator dials it and connects to a voice caller. basically, you're acting like a human phone line.

minimum typing speed is 60 wpm, 90% accuracy. and u also need to have a high tolerance level for profanity and sexually-related content...a lot of pranksters abuse ip relay and use it to play pranks on their friends...or the operators themselves.

question: how did peoplesupport treated your non compete clause? did epmax release you from this bond? :bop:

sayang talaga, walang ip relay, tried their test.. 65 WPM speed ko 0 mistakes, ibang test kase kinuha ko.. learn to type website, so walang accuracy level, pero i guess 100% ako since wala naman akong mistakes :D

siguro, konte nalnag makakaapag 70WPM ako kung babaan ko acuracy ko ng konte... my fastest wast 90wpm with 80 percent accuracy.. how i wish i could put my typing skills to good use,,, :)

nagtratrabaho na ako, may apostolate pa ako... tumutulong ako sa mga hearing-impaired... i'll try applying after 3 months time ulet...

Hi! I just got a little bit scared with the DIET training. I read kase in one of the messages here that someone was not able to get a certification, much to everybody's surprise! Well, according to her, she has a very good accent and she is also a good english speaker as well. Someone told her that the purpose of the training is to neutralize the accent. My question is, what if the trainee naturally has a bit of the american accent? Will that be a no-no during the DIET training? Pasensya na ha. I am just anxious about this because I will start my training on the 27th. Are the trainors kind and approachable enough? I hope you can enlighten me about this. Thank you very much. :)

DIET is really no-sweat... people are sent to DIET because the recruiters believe that they have very good english communication skills... it is just a matter of polishing the skills they already have...
there are some people who exaggerate their accent to an annoying extent... it means snoop dog and nelly copy-cats have no chance of making it... having an accent doesn't necessarily mean one can pronounce words correctly...
it is also wise to ask questions during training... the trainors will be more than willing to help you with your training concerns...

i agree with the focus award being given waaaaayyy after an objective was reached. i disagree however wtih the focus alert being given asap....

on occasion, lalo na pag may nagmamarunong na supervisor, a focus alert may be given way after an incident had allegedly occurred. and no matter how much you protest, you are presumed guilty until proven innocent. syempre, pag sipsip ang supvervisor, cguradong guilty ka na kahit hindi naman. :verymad:

i received a focus alert 3 weeks after an alleged infraction had occurred.

this says a lot about how the company handles its people. :verymad: :burndvl:

i remember back in PST, confident na confident ako habang tinatanong ako ng trainer tungkol sa operator mode. "operator mode is like the customer service mode of relay". and my trainer would say something like..."uh, yeah...very good answer..." (sabay kamot ng ulo)

it didn't take me long to realize why i had my trainers scratching their heads with that one. pag relay opr ka, halos walang cust svc na involved. u cannot suggest to a hardcore asl speaker that u can translate their pseudo-barok english (no offense meant) to the clueless voice caller. u can't tell the poor deaf lady trying to inquire about a certain item that the store's rejecting relay calls because of all those mugus asking if they carry this and that. u can't empathize when the nth voice caller slams the phone down the throat of the deaf jobseeker just because they can't grasp the concept of relay. it may sound restrictive, pero ganun talaga ang relay. nung lumipat ako sa PS, medyo nagkaroon ako ng adjustment period taking cust svc calls after nearly 6 months of ip relay.

oh well, at least i won't be like my other batchmates who'd get pissed off if they get a relay call. lalo na pag mugu...sarap pagsabihan ng "we don't accept relay calls" kahit na mark off sa qa... :glee:

about focus awards, what good is it anyway? u get it months after u have achieved whatever it is u need to achieve, and there's no financial reward, just a whole week of dress down. which doesn't do much good if u have 2 weekdays off...

and about focus alerts...TAMA KAYO DUN!!! GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT!!! :grrr: and there's less than a 10% chance you'll be proven innocent...only in epmax can u get suspended, or even booted out (if u have a disciplinary ultimatum) for being under the appearance of sleeping. OR READING.

to the happiness officer: i apologize if my comments made u cry. ok, perhaps, u are doing ur job but we don't feel it. that's why this thread is a haven for venting. and this should be one indicator for u that there is something wrong with the happiness level of eperformax employees. are u dismissing us as a disgruntled few? here is a suggestion, make a survey. there are a lot of instruments available if u would research on it. and if ur survey shows that we are a disgruntled few, then ignore us. of course u cant please everybody. and yes, didn't u know that u can get a lot of info from the corporate grapevine (be they true or not?), this thread is a rich source of "info" (not all true of course but it will give u a pulse of what is happening). These are tools u can use in organizational development dear happiness officer, but i wont start lecturing u on that because u are supposed to be the expert. So peace!!!

Again, our efforts have been brushed aside (actually, one of our operators was finally given the light of day but only this week- resulting action? probably none).

I know who he is, and so do a number of our floormates. in fact, we met him during one of the meetings conducted in our conference room at the 16th floor when they had a few representatives interviewed by a supposed potential client of EPerformax/MCI.

now, have we even seen our happiness officer? has he/she ever introduced himself/herself to us? has he/she ever conducted a dialogue with any of us? has he/she ever gotten the "pulse" of the people in our floor? Pointless you say? give me a break....

allow me to comment on what's up on this thread right now.

first of all, it's a well-known fact that over at ip relay, u cannot complain to ur supervisor's supervisor if u have problems with ur sup. marshmallowmanwoman is the last person anyone in ip can, and should be complaining to.

and i am well aware of this thread's reputation as a venting ground for disgruntled relay oprs and ex-relay oprs. heck, i visit this thread more often than i do at the PS thread! but what can u do? back when i was at epmax, there was no such thing as a "town hall meeting", or a venue for random agents, regardless of account, to give their frank and honest observations of life in and out of the floor. the only christmas party i got to catch had zero alcoholic content. we relay oprs were more often than not, under the more than watchful :rolleyes: eyes of marshmallowmanwoman. our supervisors, much as we loved them, were little more than babysitters passing out folders and asking agents to go on relief. and yes...the mugus, the pranksters, the dumb-a$$ terms we encountered...try dealing with those non-traditional callers for a day! some of us were so pissed off with them that we actually posted call content in here...and eventually asked it to be deleted lest we get an FA, or even worse, fired.

kahit saan sa call centers forum, puro venting ang nakikita ko. u think this is nasty? try the west threads, kung saan bulgaran talaga ang venting, to the point of naming actual names and getting crass with their posts.

yes, we are aware of the HRD in the 16th floor. with all due respect, some of them are little more than marshmallowmanwoman's mouthpieces. that's why it doesn't do much good to turn to them. i can give u examples of fired oprs who got absolutely NOWHERE by complaining to the peeps on the 16th! pinapanigan kaya si marshmallowmanwoman...

this thread, as stated previously by focus_award, has been previously brought to management's attention. see if i care. the oprs who post here do not just post here out of spite. they post here because they want a change of scenery...and the ex-oprs who post here feel the same way. maganda yung pinagsamahan namin sa ip relay, and we're still out there giving support to our former officemates.

PS - congrats kay tonytheman, my yosi and drinking buddy since late 2002. :D kung totoo nga na project manager ka na, congrats at magpainom ka naman. :glee: cuz UR FORMER TL IS STILL NOT A RICH MAN...

well, share ko *** experience ko sa ePerformax....i got a phone interview and i passed it...the guy told me that pnta daw ako sa bpi center at makati for the exam so, i did nag exam ako and then after that exam cnabihan kami na wa8 kami ng 1 hour well idi ** and so my other co applicants...then after that long long ** they told us that ** another 30 minutes grabeh ang tagal ng hinitay namin ndi naman daw pala kami nakapasa sa exam....well, sana naman kung ndi nakapasa sa exam sabihin nio n lang agad ryt after ng mga nakapasa na u can go now u didnt make it ndi *** papunpuntahin ka pa sa another room para lang sabihan kami na ndi kami nakapasa...yah maganda nga coz nsa latest model yang pc ninyo pero *** mga applicante wag nio nmang paasahin....

Quick story... the girl from HR or admin or whatever I talked to was so defensive... "Well, just because It's email support doesn't mean it's easy. People think all you do is write emails all do. But you have to think. You have to address the customer's needs. Not like you guys from IP and other accounts where everything is scripted..."

I almost killed her then and there. If our job was so freaking easy, we wouldn't be paid this much. Thank you. :)

i hope we get a new set of hr policy makers. kasi kung *** dati, e malamang e *** mababago sa policies. haaaay.... sad. haka haka lang po. sana im wrong. or let the old ones stay but we have a more responsive set of policies which is beneficial management and generous for the employees. .5 leave credit per month? 6 per year. the government mandated nbr of leaves is 5 days. ay, ang galing above minimum leave credits natin. haha. rather huhuhu. hello, burn out comes to mind? 8.5 hours a day? haaaay.... yeah yeah i wont resign, i love my job. i loved being abused e. spank me! spank me! oh yeeeeeeeeessss! that feels good! i love eperformax. and im not kidding.

@focus: i passed everything na. done na rin with the final interview. just waiting for their call in august for the contract signing and training sched. nice offer and base pay. the problem is, rmh also accepted my application, and i'm just waiting for their call for the training sched which will be within next week. haaaaay. now i have to choose.

each of us is entitled to his or her own opinion, so let me give you a piece of my mind. for one, these people (the ones you are trying to influence) have their own minds, they can decide whether to take the blue or the red pill (and find out how deep the rabbit hole goes). experience is the best teacher for most people, and perhaps for you, since you probably have been receiving a lot of focus alerts. why can't you just express your own opinion instead of marauding like a vicar? :confused:

i know people on your floor (in fact, i know who you are) who admitted that they don't really have a problem with the account..well, they said they had a problem with one or two people, but they had to admit, the job pays good. it's all in a days job, and in the end, it's all about mindset.

i don't think it would be right for you to tell anyone not to try anything, after all, the salary, indeed, is impressive. more importantly, it is difficult to find a job now, so let's be realistic, if a person is qualified for the post, let them try. it's for them to decide whether an experience is worth it or not. :D

this is my opinion:

Don't be discouraged, in the end, it will be your decision. After all, there are more than 80 call centers in Metro Manila...so you won't really end up jobless. If you get hired, stick to the rules, working in a company isn't about democracy, it's about following the rules. the call center industry is performance-based, and everything you do is measured versus the company goals, so if you are not at par, if you do not exceed expectation, the industry will naturally say goodbye to you.

it's a three-pronged reality:

Thanks for the advice, man. You know what, even if someone tries to discourage and lemme down, I still won't get along with it. I'm a man full of determination and is willing to be successful in the end amidst the challenges. I've been in the call center industry for quite a long time now and it's impossible that I can't cope up with the new environment and a new account this time. francois08, kung talagang gusto mong tumuloy sa ip relay, no one's stopping you. i'm just giving some advice here. i've seen a whole lot of sh|t hitting the fan in ip relay, i've seen marshmallow woman at her worst, and so many of us have been terminated for the silliest of reasons. so what i'm basically trying to say here is, proceed with caution.

yes they have started hiring again, after i've fired almost everyone. now there are only 2 operators on the floor. 1 for the night shift and 1 for the day shift.
