this is my opinion:

Don't be discouraged, in the end, it will be your decision. After all, there are more than 80 call centers in Metro Manila...so you won't really end up jobless. If you get hired, stick to the rules, working in a company isn't about democracy, it's about following the rules. the call center industry is performance-based, and everything you do is measured versus the company goals, so if you are not at par, if you do not exceed expectation, the industry will naturally say goodbye to you.

it's a three-pronged reality:

1. attendance
2. performance
3. quality

if you have these three things, you will survive the industry and eventually develop a career. do not be persuaded by the negative things you hear from other people, or agents, experience is subjective, it changes from people to people, so go ahead and try it...in fact, keep on trying, until you reach your goal..

lastly, complete this sentence for me "I NEED A JOB BECAUSE __________"

...speaking of 20k salaries, I know one that offers a high pay, di mo nga lang mapapansin until you factor in the allowance (which is 1/3 of the base pay and is non-taxable) and the night differential. Their reason for giving low basic pays but high allowances?

there are a lot of good people in the company. pero like any organization, it also has some "wa-y ayo". some accounts/departments are ok, others are not.
i can't say for certain if eper cebu will be any different. depende na lang sa mga tao nga mag padagan nganha. unsa man ang imong account? kaila ka na sa mga superiors nimo?

you either pass or fail DIET. if you pass, you proceed to PST. if you fail, you get PhP500.00.

at least that was how it worked when i was there.

3 weeks ang DIET? di kaya kayo maba-og nun? siguro developmental DIET ang gagawin dyan sa cebu...
sa DIET naman it's either you have it or you don't. if you have it alam mo yun. if you don't swerte ka na lang pag nabago mo yung mga challenges mo before certification day. my guess is karamihan will have slight challenges sa vowels nila.
if you have questions, tawagan mo yung recruiter who gave you the job offer. trabaho nilang ipaliwanag sa iyo yung stuff sa offer sheet na malabo. don't rely on rumors kasi they are inaccurate most of the time.

Unfortunately, yung ibang friends namin from other batch na nauna sa certification [PST na], offer sa kanila is 13.5K plus 100 MATA. Sobrang baba. My other batch had bigger salary from other company and they sorta regret the fact that they've wasted 3 weeks of training for the DIET. Itutuloy parin namin yung certification but we're 50% unsure if we we're going to take the JO kasi if you're in PST, di kapa employee, you have to under Abay or their OJT. >:(
