Can anyone give a figure or a list of all the call centers in the Philippines? Thanks!

i saw in the papers that there is close to 20000 seats na and theres no sign of stopping... Cebu (and Davao )is the next destination, expect the number to increase

It's different to give out just the names of the various centers here than giving out the number of seats. Most Customer Contact Centers have more than 1 site.

Based on your opinion, hearsay, and/or experience what are the best and worst call centers here in the Philippines today?

And why?

my pick:

Top 5

1) Convergys - Good pay, stable company, stable accounts- woohoo- top of the heap!

2) Etelecare - Good training, good culture, good benefits (30% night diff, etc)

3) Sykes - Good training, good work environment

4) Ambergris - Good accounts, good facililities, good training

5) C Cubed - Has improved significantly since the Lopezes pulled out- good training


Bottom 5

here's my bottom feeders list

1) Air Relay - Broken promises- low pay, delayed salaries- coupled with bad management (stupid American GM who sucks)- forget it!

2) Contact World Low pay, contractual employment- unstable account- forget it!

3) All Asia - contractual employment, low pay, bad management... thanks but no thanks.

4) Epixtar - uh.. epixtar = bad news- it's a scam. and most of the senior management came from the now defunct i-call (unfortunately- epixtar rehired the idiots who mismanaged i-call).

5) Eperformax - bad management, poor business direction- i'll pass

hmm...:rolleyes: totoo yan sa air relay...lagi may discrepancies sa sweldo..one time kulang ako ng almost 2000 pesos eh...saka bwiset mga utaw (sa mngmnt) kung minsan...ok lang sa akin yung mga employees but not all (heck, you can't please everybody!) saka wlang spiffs..d naman natutuloy...well...i'm giving myself before my probation ends apply na ako sa iba baka maging bum na kasi ako nito..

about epixtar? kaya nga d ako nag-aaply jan kahit malapit sa amin...eh rip-off ng icall na yan eh! nagtraining ako dun tapos after that, kung d ka pumasa...tsugi na...no pay pa!

top 5... etel and ambergris?! my god... really... i know a lot of friends who have resigned from these companies due to very poor management... isn't it?

like etel have a 45k bond and 2yrs non compete clause... ambergris... tama na... baka humaba pa ang issue...

ang alam ko may problems dyan sa ambergris..my former ofcmate in my previous company told me that this company sucks...

about etel? soobra ngang laki ng bond..it used to be the best call center in the phils..pero napag-iiwanan na ng ict & convergys..aight?

work contracts = bonds

you'll have to stay with a company for a certain period of time (usually 1 to 2 years) in exchange for the "training" you'll get from them

If you resign before the period specified in your contract- you'll have to pay them a certain amount OR the company garnishes an amount from your salary, and deposits it in the bank- when you resign before your contract ends- the company keeps the money- if you fulfill your contract- they give it back (wise :p)

i dont think there are call centers that offer good pay without any bond for at least 6mos... it there is such company then i havent heard anything bout it nor heard such company's name...

besides, call center industry is in demand, why would they provide such training without them having any security that you can stay with the company for at least 6mos, 1yr or 2.

sa tagalog, bkit kita bibigyan ng pagagalingin kung tatakasan mu lang ako at gagamitin sa iba?!
