yeah... but it was not informed to us. for me, the 2nd question in my final interview was "what is my expected salary?". i got only interviewed during the phone simulation, not the one on one interview. after nga ng last exam w/c is *** call simulation, derecho na agad sa final interview. after a couple of questions pa like if "i'm willing to work in a shifting sched" & "if i can attend the training" na, wait nalang daw ako sa reception. then the guard shouted my name, and i saw the "thank you letter", and ayun, adios na! hehe.. di na nga ako sinipot nung naginterview sakin sa phone kasi she'll talk to me daw. pero i guess wala na un kasi naghintay din ako. wag nalang natin mention name. hehehehe. siguro madami na masyadong applicants and that time, gabi na rin kasi, around 7 pm. so siguro madalian na *** processing. but that's ok. *** kasama ko nga, nasa bus na kami pauwi tinatawagan pa sya, pero ayaw nya na un offer kasi mababa para sa kanya. umaga pa lang kasi pagdating namin sa daksh tinawag na sya nung nagfinal interview sa kanya and inadmit sa kanya na below 15k lang pwede nya makuha, pwede daw sya magdecide 'til 7pm if aaccept *** offer or not. :D :D :D

opps! i applied 1 and a half weeks ago.. i asked for 18 k starting.. dey asked me go down 15 k starting base.. i said 14 k *** tawad ko sa base.. mira told me regarding commissions and allowances.. i was firm na i would appreciate na 15 k base pay.. bcoz i can giv the time and dedication sa work.. i came from a hard core outbound call centre.. and sykes.. sana nmn maintindinhan ng hr ang worth ko in working in your company.. i didn't apply na sa iba company.. kc dis is just a reapplication.. i was suppose to start sa first batch last feb.. but cant let go at that time with sykes pa.. sana nmn um-ok sila sa 15 k base pay ko.. :bop: :rotflmao:

this is my experience with the daksh hiring / interview / negotiation process...

it was the headhunter who arranged for the discussion with daksh. the position earmarked was a senior management post. the HR interview went well, but the interview with the Director, who is an Indian National proved to be quite "unexpecting." I have nothing against Daksh because i know a lot of friends who are now working there. I guess particularly for my case, the interviewer had a more "traditional" role for the post (he does have 20 years of experience largely from Bangalore). The job description was way below the job i had expected. It bespoke of a supervisory job in a senior management title. The pay was not all that lucrative because of the job design & expectation i guess. The interviewer was negotiating for a salary that was 25% less of what i was earning in another call center.

When friends asked me why i did not sign up, i had to tell them that:
a) the indian boss and i weren't aligned in work expectations & job design
b) that when the company asks for a candidate -with 10 years of working experience, 6 years of which are in a management capacity & with considerable certification & expertise, then it is expected that an equitable job design & compensation is drafted. from my point of view, Daksh may need to recalibrate its expectations on the talent market.
c) i had to end the negotiation after 2 interviews with the same Director in an effort to show that i'm not comfortable in wasting his time - so that they can search for a well suited candidate for the post.
d) after 3 months, he ended up hiring someone with 2 years of experience instead 10 years despite what they had originally advertised for.

i hope that people reading this don't get me wrong as i dont think this happens to junior positions though. and daksh is still a very young player in the local industry. after all, i'm really just a regular pexer trying to say a story.

very well told, idiot-savant. yes, this happens to junior positions as well. they have disproportionate qualifications for the position they are offering, and unfortunately, even the recruitment associates are (mis)guided by the myopic qualifications set by the higher ups, and in the process, disqualifying even those who are very much qualified, particularly those with managerial experience in other industries.

In the end, as you had experienced, they are not ready to compensate for the kind of talent they seek.

the commissions and incentives mentioned in one of the posts are bonuses, given for delivering results above the expectation of the client, and are given over and above the basic salary, and are account-driven.

actually, working for the call center industry would be more than just the money. getting a marginal compensation would likely increase and getting more than more than 15k is always inevitable. but getting a high pay at the onset and getting stuck there is also possible. i know its always a numbers game but in the end...seeing yourself as an agent for 3 years would make you realize that youre getting nowhere even though your earning as high as 20k per month. i've been a agent for a pretty long time...and have been offered different compensation packages but at the end of the day...you would realize that your in the same position where you first started...dont get me wrong...the salary is important but so are the benefits and the room offered for growth...i think DAKSH capitalize on those!!!

i would encourage you to apply here.... they may not offer big compensation but i may say that we have a home here. people are so great, and even if you are just applying they would treat you as if you are really significant. and even during the orientation, you will get to meet the VIP's in the company, thats how they treat their employees... great isnt it?msaya dito mga dudesssss!!!!

3. Yup, you need to be fluent in both languages

If you only know Mandarin then you could still apply for the MAN speaking agent but it is just for pooling. If you have friends who would like to apply and qualified for the MAN-CAN agent then please refer them.

I saw your Boss (Deepak Kumar) at the US Embassy, Me and my colleagues were waiting for the interview for our business visas since the call center that we work for is sending us to the US for training. Actually-I was seated right beside him. He was first in line, but then since me and my colleagues were enrolled by the call center that i work for in the US Embassy's P.I.P. (Priority Interview Program) :naughty: we skipped the line and went home early with our visas. He got to stay the rest of the morning with all those other guys applying for their US Visas. Btw, Accenture does send their people to the US rin pala (i thought they were too short-changed) for that. *okay*

I had my initial interview rescheduled and waited for a confirmation from the HR team but I didn't get a reply right away. So I called your office next morning and inquired. Sabi ng hr, I can drop by the office anytime this week. Tapos nung pumunta ako kanina, sarado na pala yung account. Sana nilagay nila sa jobstreet na sarado na yun para di na ako tumuloy. Sa QC pa naman ako galing.*peace*

1. I can't disclose any information about the salary. All I can say is that it is above industry average although it is not the highest in the industry. I'm only referring to the basic pay. If you talk about the perks and other cash incentives then that's another GOOD STORY.

2. Comp & Ben - I've been here for almost 2 years already and I did not have any prob with regards to C&B.

3. Reapplication - CCS applicants who failed can re-apply after 3 months.

you can't transfer as of the moment, you need to render "time" with your current account first up until IJPS (internal job placement(s)) are available...

you can choose the account... but some accounts are looking for specific qualifications such as the travel account... you must have a background in handling a similar account or you must have a travel related degree such as tourism.. etc..

Dakshman, pre ba't ganun yung exam niyo for data network specialist? Dapat ang tawag dun Micro$oft technologies specialist or anything to this effect. Requirement as stated sa ads, dapat Cisco certified. Pero mga tanong pang M$? duh!!? Sayang lang oras ko. Natawa na lang ako sa exam. Hindi makatarungan yun! Parang lumabas nun e ala akong alam sa I.T.

i did not sign their offer because the bidding system for the salary is so unfair (or maybe personally i dislike this system). they give 12,500 (lowest) and for experienced agents, they kinda bid. i wish they just give a flat rate for experienced and the regular for non.

now that their email account is hiring, i'm still considering to apply, please do us a favor by giving tips or warning if needed.

i got accepted as part of the pioneer batch for consumer electronics & attended the induction yesterday...my problem is i cant get an employment clearance from one of my previous employerscoz i AWOled--this happened almost 5 years ago,,,would i get terminated if i tell HR about it..should i tell it before i start VA or wen they asked na for the clearance...e2 nlng kulang ko sa reqt e...my friend CCS also from daksh who is nearing her regularization adviced me na wag ko daw problemhahin yun kc sha almost regular na di p hinahanap yung clearances niya..pls hlp ASAp
