Aside from the fact that this center is Indian-owned and has Yahoo! for their main account (as evidenced by their ad), information about this company or experiences in applying is appreciated. ;)

I think they have an opening for tech support and financial advisor. I took their exam last week then panel interview.... ok naman yung office...ang luwag pa alang katao tao...yung 1st batch raw hinde pa live....I'm not sure about the salary range, imo lower than the other US based call centers since India based sila...but we'll never know.

Mas mababa? I read their brochure yesterday and they have positions for IT Associates. When I tried to call their H.R. department yesterday, puro yun tech support position ang sinabi nya sa akin (e ang tanong ko naman is about dun sa I.T. Associate). Labo.

Since they have a tech support and financial support position, I think different yung test for each applicant. Exam was basic grammar test, technical test mostly about finance stuff, typing test then they'll let you know if you pass. Nine (9) of us took the exam and only 3 pass, anyway the panel interview was easy...I was interviewed by the HR manager and admin manager, kulang kc sila tao. Try nyo na lang ok naman mga tao eh binigyan pa kami ng coffee during the test :)

i also passed my resume at Daksh. first sa Jobfair sa Megamall for the DA (doc analyst position) then nong nag walk in kami ng friends ko sa ayala ave, we passed our resumes uli sa Daksh... sa PBCOM tower...

and then, we were interviewed agad (by twos) we were six kasi. i was on the 2nd group. ang daya nga eh kasi ang daming tanong samen eh. *** HR mngr ata nag interview basta *** girl na mejo slang. tapos pinathrow back pa kami ng questions sa isat-isa, kami nong friend ko. unang pinaalis *** friend ko. she even asked me if i have my cellphone with me right that day. kala ko naman tatawag hindi naman pala.

Daksh -an IBM Subsidiary.... that means, you also get the same benefits of IBM! I believe its nice here :) I applied 2 weeks ago - undergo the exam, typing test and the oral interview over the phone. Then they told me to go back today, I went there and I had my 2nd interview........ I think Daksh will be one of the BEST call centers here in the Philippines :)

Yup! We accept applicants with no call center experience!

In fact, we are encouraging even those who are from the other industries to try how fun and great (not to mention profitable and challenging) it is to work in a call center, especially at DAKSH (of course! :p)!

As for what happened to you, that's our SOP, we conduct initial phone screening, then if ever you pass, we will call you again for the next phase of the recruitment process which is the written examination.

Look on the brighter side, it ain't over til it's over. :)

we do accept undergrads especially those with call center experience but it's an account-to-account basis. as for the telecoms account, undergrads may apply provided that he or she has call center experience and must at least reached 2nd year college.

yeah the assessment was pretty easy, parang kasi all the exams couldve been accomplished in one day lang like other call centers. mas matagal pa yata yung paghihintay ko dun hehe, and tomorrow 3rd time ko na bumalik, kakatamad :P

anyway, that's the process right now because we're filling the first batch.

we need to be more critical with the first batch of agents since they will set the benchmark for quality and success of the account.

after the first batch, the process will be trimmed down to a one whole day hiring process, that simply means that the applicant will take the exam in the morning, the oral by lunchtime, final interview after lunch, and the contract signing by the afternoon!

please understand that we are filling the PIONEER BATCH! there's no room for mistake for this batch. that's why we are more critical when it comes to the selection process. also take into consideration that we are processing thousands of applications.

what i've stated is not an excuse, rather, i hope it would motivate the applicants more to strive harder in order to join the prestigious BATCH 1 of the TELECOMS ACCOUNT.

had an interview last week of December then they told me that they're gonna call me for the final interview w/c I blve will be the panel interview w/ the Indians of Daksh?? But until now, I havnt rcve a call from them... :(

if ever you pass you'll receive a call within a week-3 weeks time. it depends on the volume of applications that are being processed.

yup, the office is very nice!

we are occupying 30th-32nd floors of the PBCOM Tower. 31st and 32nd are still being constructed but based from what I saw from the last time I went there... the office ROCKS!

From the nice interiors, cool and cozy meeting rooms, winter like feeling due to great airconditioning, bar like pantries, rec rooms with ps2/xbox and billiard table, hotel like private CRs, SPA like shower rooms (hehehe!)... oh my! there's too much to tell right now...

JUST APPLY, GET HIRED, SEE AND ENJOY THE FACILITIES FOR YOURSELF!

We're off to the UA&P job fair... hope to see you there if ever you're studying at that school.

Hi Bri,

The travel account is not yet open, just wait for further announcements. As for how long it takes, we are fast tracking the application procedures here but for batch 1, give us a week. Sorry, I really can't disclose anything with regards to the salary. It will be discussed during the contract signing. But since you have 2 years experience, you can apply for the SENIOR CUSTOMER CARE SPECIALISTS position and of course expect a higher pay.

I hope I answered all your questions. We're off to St. Joseph's College QC, we're attending the job fair there.
