They send me an email saying that they review my resume and that they consider me for an interview.

But....

I don't recall applying on them. I review my list of jobs and they are not there. I try to browse the net para malaman ko what kind of company is this pero wala akong makitang info, except doon sa mga four liners na profile sa ibang job search sites.

I haven't heard of this company but if I were in your shoes and had time to spare I would show up for the interview just to satisfy my curiosity. I might learn a thing or two for a few hours' effort.

That would assume, of course, that the interview is held in some respectable place. If they make you go to a warehouse where you need to pass through fifteen eskinitas before you reach the front door, that's a different story.

di ko rin pinuntahan, ang reason ko naman kasi dalawang emails ang natanggap ko kaso nakakaduda kasi magkaiba ng pangalan ang company pero the same format ang lahat. pati yung oras at place ng interview, magkaiba lang ng company name

Hello guys;

Here's what exactly happened. Last Monday, I received a text message telling me to check my email for the job interview schedule.

I check my email and I was asked to choose between two schedules, one is March 2 (Tue) and another is March 3 (Thu, today), I do not recall applying on a company with that name, so I checked my file (I keep a file of companies I applied) and it's not there. I check my jobstreet and jobsdb account and its also not there.

The email asked me to confirm the schedule by texting on a certain number. When I checked, it is the same number that informed me that I received the email.

Under the cellphone number in the email, there is a line saying (FOR CONFIRMATION ONLY).

So I texted the cellphone number, not to confirm, but to ask them how they get my resume (I do not know if they really have my resume, but since they know my email add and cellphone #, I assume they did.

They never replied.

So I never came to their company.

And just now, before I loggin here in PEx, I received another email from this company, an exact duplicate of the email they send previously, except that the interview schedule is March 4. I replied to their email, again asking how did they get my resume.

Now I do not know what will happen next. I guess I'll keep on ignoring them if they keep on ignoring my question.

Kuya Danny; thanks for the tip. Their address is somewhere along EDSA extension. However the fact that they do not answer my question makes me even more suspicious towards them, beside there are more known and respectable company that are worth my time.

Suki ng mga dyaryo yang company na yan... its a recruitment agency.... ewan ko *** kng matino ito... marami kasi ngayong mga "ala recruitment agency" ang dating pero sa totoo *** rumaraket sa mga naghahanap ng work... na magpapabayad sa mga applicants ng mga application fee, medical exam fee etc...

di ko lam kung maganda diyan, pero na-to kasi ako dahil kailangan mo yata bumili ng issurance to get in. tapos ang mga contact person pa, tipong look for engr. ganito or archt. ganyan. basta, medyo parang di katiwa-tiwala. iba-iba pangalan eh.

PrinceKassad, dont worry, di ka rin nagiisa. I got two emails from them. Same letter telling me that they saw my resume..blah..blah..parehong-pareho sa pinadala sayo..ang akin Junior Executive ata yung **** nilang ipag-apply ko.

Just to be professional (yun yung inisip ko na lang)...i texted them telling that i won't be coming. Tas eto mahirap! While I was doing my initial exams with my current company, somebody from that group even texted me, saying na hindi siya papasok and kindly tell Ms. Whoever(i forgot her name) na hindi siya makakapsok.... Grabe! Ginawa raw ba akong empleyado agad nila.. :glee:

Basta dont easily give in, pagisipang mabuti..their office is near Metropoint Mall..in Taft Avenue..the one near MRT. Napaka-crowded kaya ng place dun.. nakakatakot puntahan, lalo na't pag babae pa at mag-isa.

Guys, feeling ko basta surname-surname & associates ang name ng company at sa pasay, huwag nating apply-an. i received a very similar e-mail from Lopez-Mosuela & Associates naman. Pasay din ang address, and same instructions: walking distance from MRT beside Allied Bank. Ang kulit nilang mag-text kasi ayoko ngang mag-reply. Tapos, nag-research ako, parang vague ang job description nila. Then, may Fernandez-Gonzales & Associates din na nag-post ng job, same address. Buti na lang I decided not to go. highly-probable na SALES ang work na offered ng dubious company na yan. and sus, maniwala naman kayo na may copy sila ng resume nyo! if you received their notice via e-mail, most probably, nakuha nila email address nyo sa forums, yahoogroups, friendster, and even sa mga forwarded na emails na hindi naka-bcc ang recipients.

isa lang ang katapat ng emails na yan: DELETE and block the email address it came from your mailbox. if you received the letter via postal mail, itapon ang sulat!

i think, pwede i-reklamo yan sa mga investigative programs like imbestigador, tulfo, reporter's notebook, etc. suggestion lang, compile na lang natin yung mga email ***** and then we send it, together with a letter of complaint sa mga programs na yan. anyone who knows the email address for imbestigador or reporters notebook? o kaya yung kay private eye ni erwin tulfo?
