im always thirsty

this passed few months i noticed that im always thirsty...esp. at night, i always have 1 pitcher of water...i think i drink more than 12 glasses a day....can u explain this doc?

it's really good when at least a person drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday, what more if 12 glasses but you know, from what i heard, pag thirsty daw ang tao palagi, this is i sign that a person is diabetic. i'm not sure, it's really hard to tell, i think you should consult a doctor.

I drink a lot more than 12 glasses of water and I'm not diabetic...

I honestly think drinking a lot is normal as the body tends to lose fluids, especially in the hot weather like we have today now that it's summertime...

How many liters of water do you consume in a day? And are you having new-onset vision problems?

i dont have a new-onset vision prob doc, i drink almost 3- 4 liters of water

Just curious...do you prefer to drink large amounts of cold water?

Either way, consult an endocrinologist as soon as you can. You need further workups to rule out both diabetes mellitus and diabetes insipidus.

dati nangyari din sakin yan.di ko rin maintindihan. ewan ko ba.bigla na lang. nangyari kasi dati hindi naman. pero *** akin, dahil lang pala maaga ako nagtutoothbrush (***** after eating, mga 7 pm kasi i usually sleep mga 11 na) after that, daldal ako ng daldal tapos siyempre, di na ko kumakain kasi nagsipilyo na e. mga 1 linggo un.palagi akong nauuhaw (sa gabi lang). pero nung bumalik ako sa dati (*** nagsisipilyo na bago matulog, hindi na ganun. okay na. :) :) but i think iba *** case ko sayo. hehe
