dominiquesdad: pls advise naman based on ur experience if paying php 15,887 yearly for 5 years is ok for a php125,000 life insurance? how can this premium be reduced?

unless you intend to do this full time, and focus your attention to it, burn out rate is very high. probably a year or two only before you run out of clients.
thats why they are constantly recruiting sales agent.
the commission is big but you have to hit your quota or else the company cancels your license. its done yearly so you have to make the cut.
assuming youre really dedicated to this endeavor, you might make it. Most of the agents whos into it for part time usually last for 2 to 3 years.

when is the maturity period?
paying period is too short to earn dividends to reduce premium so that option is out.
you can reduce the premium by taking out the riders if too many are attached.
what purpose is the insurance?
if youre planning to make it a business investment
it would be wiser to start a business cause the returns are much better.
Remember, you buy a life insurance for insurance sake.
not for investment.

i guess a non quota pre-need company will do the trick if youre looking for a part time gig.
just go with the big boys and avoid companies with no track record or strong corporate history and setup.
