We are happy to formally announce that the Philosophical Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAP), National Conference will be held on April 15-17, 2004 at the Supreme Hotel, Magsaysay Ave. Baguio City, with the special cooperation of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Humanities Department. The theme for this conference is PHILOSOPHY AND GOVERNANCE, which resonates with our theme last midyear conference: Philosophy and Political Responsibility both conferences serving as venues for reflections, in preparation for the 2004 national elections.
The pre-registration fee for live-in participants is P4,000.00, this includes, board and lodging, conference materials, membership fee, and for live-out participants, P3,000.00, this includes meals, conference materials, and membership fee. An additional P500.00 will be charged for on-site registration or walk-in participant. Dead line for pre-registration is March 27, 2004.*
We have invited five (5) professors who are experts in the field of politics and governance to share their philosophical researches, ideas and insights about the theme
